舊同學敍舊, 當然找–間清靜細小的店, 容易傾偈.店子氣氛不錯, 燈光不算太暗.頭盤是Parma Ham伴Rocky菜, Parma Ham帶有少少脂肪好香, 再配Rocky菜一起吃, 好滿足.湯我叫了洋葱湯, 好濃, 洋葱絲好多有口感, Good!隨着叫了紅蝦蕃茄汁配意粉, 兩隻中size的蝦好鮮甜, 意粉質地硬度適中,再配番茄鮮甜汁美味.又order了雜菌忌廉意大利飯, 菇菌香味撲鼻, 不錯選擇!甜品要了Tiramisu, 略為過甜, 份量相當多, 一份足夠2人份量.

Lobster Risotto
maybe this is one of their new dishes as we were asked if there could be any improvements at the end. (Also saw them tasting the food in the kitchen amongst the staff to see if it is good enough for serving)
The lobster was perfectly cooked, and it wasnt overcooked
The sauce was a lobster sauce but i think it needed some kick to it. you can taste the lobster flavour but it feels like something is missing. 
Risotto was cooked nicely, not too hard or soft. 

Tiger Prawn Linguine
Pasta wasnt cooked enough and wasnt thin/smooth enough. It could be more fine
Sauce, very bland. same as the risotto, it needed some kick to it. 

Pizza with Spicy Italian sausage
not spicy at all. very cheesy. 
They shouldve added more toppings to it. especially for paying 128hkd for it. pizza express has more toppings as well!
the base is very thin, but still not up to the italian standard considering it is an Italian Restaurant and for paying such a price. I have had proper Italian Pizza while i was in London and I have seen how it has been made. 

Rose Latte:
My highlight. really enjoyed it. proper coffee. you can taste the strong kick from the beans with a hint of rose over it. I really want to try their other lattes as well. there were so many flavours.

意式Tiramisu
No. 5 Italian 的Tiramisu甫上枱,小妹孤陋寡聞,見其外形似大塊淺啡色、軟淋淋的豆腐,沒有海綿蛋糕夾心,且是用匙來食,還要像濃湯一樣用碗盛載,與平日所見截然不同,不禁大感不解。
曾到訪意大利的好友解釋「這是正宗的意式Tiramisu﹗」Tiramisu入口像泡沫般幼滑Creamy,嫩滑細緻,酒味不濃,甜度不高,那份柔軟感確是令人回味,比起較濃烈硬身苦澀海綿蛋糕的港式Tiramisu更得小妹歡心。
飯後翻查資料,Tiramisu在意大利文的意思是「Pick Me Up」,中文即「帶我走」。相傳在二次世界大戰時,一名貧困意大利士兵須要出征,其妻子便將家中能吃的,包括餅乾和麵包做出了Tiramisu這美食。正宗Tiramisu材料主要有Lady Finger手指餅、咖啡、可可粉、Mascarpone芝士和雞蛋。Tiramisu要集香、滑、甜、膩、柔中帶軟,富質感的變化,味道不是一味死甜,要帶咖啡的甘澀,伴隨Mascarpone芝士的甜香。但經過多年的演變,現時的Tiramisu,尤其在香港吃到的,有的用上忌廉,有的用上咖啡味的酒,有的用手指餅做底,有的用海綿蛋糕,有的加上魚膠粉令蛋糕變得較硬,質感變成像蛋糕一樣。除了材料不同外,口感完全是另一回事。好友表示若想吃到真正傳統而美味的Tiramisu,可能要飛一轉意大利才行。

整體而言,從食物的賣相、味道和質素,可見餐廳及廚師的用心。當晚所見,開放式廚房中有兩男一女廚師在埋頭苦幹,為顧客炮製美味的食物。樓面有兩女一男殷勤有禮的侍應,其中一位靚女侍應負責介紹及落單,睇佢較有經驗及senior,服務頗為細心及親切。在大坑而言,餐廳環境尚算不錯,又有格調,食物價錢尚算可以接受。有食客批評餐廳未夠正宗義大利餐廳,就小妹個人而言,正宗與否不太重要,食物好食又岩口味先重要﹗

總括來說, 價錢比較貴, 味道不錯, 服務業餘。大概大坑現在開的食肆都是這個樣子, 食物質素與價錢不相稱, 彷彿食客都是付錢吃特色和苟延殘喘的小區氣氛。

But the result is discouraging me to try new things in HK

We ordered quite a few things
Spicy sausage prawns salad
Home made pasta with wateva
Carcoal Beef
and
can't be bothered to try dessert

1. Salad,
Sausage is ok its Spicy.
Prawns are FROZEN IE TASTLESS.
Salad is not chilled thats just subjective if you know how to make salad.

2. PASTA IS RAGING
all i can say is the pasta is WOW UNCOOK PACKET NOODLES
well maybe a little exaggerating i mean its hard as hell.
You might say
"oh you don't know"
"its different from normal pasta"
or " you don't know whats homemade"
all these jargons.
but i tell you go ahead and try.
and you will know the chef came from cha chan teng (for foreigners: its local cheap restaurants with cultural interior restaurant quality)

3. THE BEEF.

I read a book once said never eat today's special cause its unfresh wrote by a 5 star michelin chef
its squid ink bread crubs coated 4 strips of wagu beef
Sounds nice ehh!!!

BUT

SQUID INK BREAD CRUBS TASTE LITTLE SALTY
AND WAGU BEEF ITS SUPPOSE TO BE NICE ON ITS OWN.
SO YOU CAN'T ACTUALLY TAST THE BEEF.
WHICH MEANS YOU KNOW... THEY GOT

總括來說, 菜式不算是難食, 只是它標榜是意大利菜, 兼且是手製意粉, 這個就完全不合格, 如果說是港式意粉, 尚算可以接受, 不過以價錢計, 以這樣的價位吃港式意粉就略嫌貴了, 基本上我就不會再回頭了.

前幾天在臉書有食友post了在大坑新開的雪糕店的照片,做法很特別,所以很想去試,也正因如此,我們就決定在大坑先找午餐吃,然後才去雪糕店吃甜品。上次來吃乳酪的時候經過這家餐廳,已被整家餐廳的感覺吸引,是很有英倫風格的悠閒小店,不過那天趕時間,沒時間吃。餐廳不大,大概只可以容納二十多個人,走casual dining路線,有一個小天井的後花園,如果天氣好的話可以坐在外面,有一把大的白色陽傘,不會曬,不過是日有點熱,我們還是選擇坐在室內。廚房是開放式,可以看到廚師在準備食物。訂了十二點半的檯,當時餐廳裡只有一檯客,可能是剛營業的關係,所以店員都似乎忙著準備,過了一會兒也沒有人主動拿餐牌給我,有點備受冷落的感覺。餐牌設計成卷畫的模樣,像以前的皇上詔書般,很特別。除了餐牌上的菜式之外,牆上的黑板寫滿了當天的廚師推介。餐牌裡的價錢都是以歐羅定價,最初不確定他們是不是每天都以最新的匯率去計算,不過結帳時看單據就發現與我預想一樣,只是簡單地乘以十就是港幣的價錢。山羊芝士、火箭菜配白松露蜜糖(€9.8)。一向怕吃苦的我,其實也怕吃火箭菜,本來以為只是作伴碟的菜,沒想到上檯的時候是一大盤,多得幾乎忘記了還

山羊芝士、火箭菜配白松露蜜糖(€9.8)。一向怕吃苦的我,其實也怕吃火箭菜,本來以為只是作伴碟的菜,沒想到上檯的時候是一大盤,多得幾乎忘記了還有山羊芝士的存在。坦白說,火箭菜真的很苦,如果不是有白松露蜜糖伴著吃的話,我真的吃不到,就連一向不怕吃苦的鬆弛也說有一種吃一口後就想放棄的衝動,所以白松露蜜糖的份量可以再多一點就好。白松露蜜糖很香,配著切成小粒的山羊芝士,入口軟滑有奶香,味道稍咸,與甜甜的蜜糖配合得天衣無縫。

Black Ink with squid in basil tomato sauce (€14.8)。這裡的意粉都是自家製,用墨魚汁手造的意粉,比平常的卷曲,有點像公仔麵,非常有咬口,做到al dente既效果,不過就不太吃得出墨魚汁味。羅勒蕃茄醬非常濃郁,甜甜的,不知為何我覺得有少許咖喱味的after taste,鬆弛說這可能是重香草的關係。墨魚圈圈新鮮,爽口彈牙,而且份量不少,好好吃。

煙三文魚酸忌廉水牛芝士薄餅8吋(€8.8)。賣相還真的很隨意,有點不規則,不過完全不影響其味道。薄餅是薄批,頗為脆口,只是稍嫌不夠麥香,可能是和選用的麵粉有關。煙三文魚上面的酸忌廉水牛芝士帶少許檸檬味,感覺清新,不過只有丁點不太夠,多一點就更好。

整體的感覺不錯,悠閒舒適,後來店員也很主動推介食物,加水收碟等都很周到。其實除了手造意粉水準高外,還有幾款特別的意大利飯,如紅色的紅菜頭意大利粉,顏色鮮艷,下次要試試看,不過定價方面就有點高。

I lived near by and this place always had a very nice aroma so we decided to try it. When it arrived, it seemed the idea was to cover the apparent beef strips (all 4 of them, finger size) with a 'charcoal' powder, also known as squid ink powder..taste of nothing..they are charging me $235 for 4 pieces of finger size beef?? Where's the rest of the beef steak gone? The beef itself was tasteless, no marinate, no sauce, just some mash to go with. This dish is one of the more pricy options on their menu and it's very very disappointing. Rip off!!! 😡😡

Seafood homemade pasta
Seriously when the dish arrived, the pasta looked like uncooked cup noodles and that's exactly what it tasted like. 😱 it was the hardest pasta I have ever eatten!! The sauce was ok, average and the seafood is yet again tasteless..

Although the restaurant cancelled my pasta dish after I said its the worse pasta I have ever tasted, still I will never go again. And will tell all my friends not to go.. The prices are more expensive than soho, and I really dont appreciate them doing their prices in USD as this just gives people a feeling of pricy!! 😞

At the end, I paid $785 for the crappest food in tai hang, seriously don't get the visual look of the dishes fool you.. It's all tasteless!! 😡 I suggest the chef go learn how to cook before opening a restaurant and dont say ur pasta is ur speciality when it's complete failure.

On July 11th around 9pm, I received their call telling me that one of their staff made a mistake and they actually have a private party on July 14th and therefore, no tables available for me. I was very upset and scratched my head off trying to find a decent venue for my friends.

And here’s where the story became worse…

I met up with few friends on July 13th telling them how difficult it was finding a place in such a short time… happened that same friend also booked a table of 7ppl ONE MONTH AGO for the same night, but worst of all, she NEVER received any calls from them… So she immediately called around 9pm… they claimed that they have tried calling my friend and left her messages since past wed, which we all knew was a lie, because my friend NEVER turns off her phone, she didn’t have any missed calls nor messages. Funny thing was #5 Italian has her correct number on the book…

It was just HORRIBLE, what if my friend and her other 6 friends arrived on that Sat night… what are they going to do?!
I will NOT book that place AGAIN given it’s NOT guaranteed a table whether you book 2 weeks or ONE MONTH in advance?!?!! #5 Italian has to understand there’re TONS of great places with good food & know how to keep reservations CORRECT for customers in this town.

My friend recommended this place. As we had no booking, so have to sit outside /outdoor. pasta with black truffles and sea urchin! DeliciousPizza with truffles I think its called JohnnyI also had a glass of house red and a salad, service was super friendly Will definitely come again to try others

澳洲和牛面寬條麵 - 呢個超讚!!! 個和牛入口即溶, 配埋個人手搓嘅寬條麵, 麵質超OK, 煙煙un un! 阿waiter哥哥又話個連所有意粉都係大廚自己搓ga~~~

呢一餐簡直超滿足, 估唔到咁好食, 出乎意料起碼一百倍!!!! 但實在太飽, 好想試埋其他嘢...唯有下次再嚟!!! 加油~加油~加油~給力! 給力! 給力!
