This is the WORST dining experience I’ve ever had at Midlevels Restaurant. We had three person arrived and seated. We requested a table for five, the staff promised us an open table as soon as the current guests left. However, after 10 minutes, the staff placed a "reserved" sign on the table without informing us.
When my friend arrived the staff refused to seat us up as promised told us we could not have the table.
The real issue was that the staff did not let us know about the reservation until my additional guests arrived. If they had told us earlier that the table was no longer available, we could have made other arrangements. Instead, we were caught off guard and made to feel unwelcome when my friends showed up.
I had to intervene with the manager and eventually they grudgingly agreed to seat us - but only if we left within 30 minutes, making us feel like we were begging for the seat .
To add to the poor service, the steak were terribly dry and flavorless, I know I could not expect too much for steak and beer in 300 bucks at mid levels, but I would rather randomly buy a steak at M&S which nearby.
We left feeling frustrated, rushed, and unsatisfied. I would not recommend dining here and will not be returning.
