唔知點解身邊嘅朋友都係春夏生日, 一到呢啲日子就會瘋狂咁食生日飯今次大食妹就去咗位於上環嘅Ask for Alonzo<羅馬肉丸>羅馬肉丸嘅醬汁係蕃茄底, 夠濃夠酸上面嘅肉丸好大粒, 應該淨係落咗少少嘅鹽同胡椒調味, 味道比較清淡, 一定要配搭好多嘅醬汁同芝士先至好食<鮮蝦牛肝菌扁意粉>Ask for Alonzo其實最出名係佢嘅意粉鮮蝦牛肝菌扁意粉屬於炒意粉, 食落幾有鑊氣牛肝菌非常淋身, 鮮蝦尚算彈牙<招牌米蘭炸豬扒>好奇怪點解冇人推介佢嘅主食, 一食就知道乜嘢事炸豬扒偏向日式, 比麵包糠包裹住, 炸豬扒無味之餘又硬到咬唔開, 食咗半塊即刻放棄薯條都冇乜誠意, 得嗰幾條贈送嘅餐包外表雖然有啲樣衰, 烤得太窿, 但係味道唔錯<Vodka Lemonade>嘢飲雖然好平, 但味道一言難盡Vodka Lemonade同檸檬水冇分別, 一啲都飲唔到Vodka嘅味道, 反而有陣巴西里嘅味道<Classic Negroni>味道比較濃烈, 帶有少少橙香, 唔知點解飲落有陣藥水味

There was a couple that brought 3 dogs, not only did the 3 dogs stay inside the restaurant, the staff of the restaurant prepared water and played with the dogs a bit. The three dogs are licking the staff and her cloth and apron of the staff were in contact with 3 dogs…The staff continued to worked at the counter and served food,I can’t help but wonder: How about the hygiene of our food?

I always wanted to come for a visit since its debut in Tai Hang. Their pasta dishes were solid and rich with lots of sauce. Even the welcoming bread was so fluffy and delicious. 🥂Alonzo’s Carbonara $158Since this is their signature dish, I had great expectations on it but I think it’s overrated. 🥂Alonzo’s Carbonara $158
Since this is their signature dish, I had great expectations on it but I think it’s overrated. I liked the crispy Roman guanciale but overall it was quite doughy and heavy.

Bouncy and sweet in taste, it’s perfect to have toasted focaccia to absorb the white wine broth. The broth also added a mild kick of spiciness that just added to its depth of flavour.

Every dish was packed with intense flavour. The staff was friendly and attentive. It’s a nice place but the music there was too loud and the place was packed with so many exhilarated people that made our ears suffered. Better go on a weekday or lunch instead.

Heard good reviews about this restaurant for a while now and finally got a chance to visit their Sheungwan branch!Parma ham tortellini Can choose between bolognese and truffle cream, and went for bolognese so it’s not too heavy alongside the carbonara. Parma ham tortellini
Can choose between bolognese and truffle cream, and went for bolognese so it’s not too heavy alongside the carbonara. Portion was huge, tortellini was nicely filled and bolognese was very nicely seasoned.

breakfast carbonara
Traditional carbonara has a fragrant egg sauce and this definitely did the job. Egg sauce with the extra egg gave intense flavor to the spaghetti. Bacon slices were alright, but wish the pieces were cut smaller so it goes better with each bite of pasta!
