Caviar Kaspia是全港首间鱼子酱专门店,位于法国Madeleine区的总店早已驰名欧美。香港店是他们全球首间分店,所用的鱼子酱都由巴黎空运而来,每星期来货两次,所以餐厅的鱼子酱亦跟总店一模一样。

I did go for lunch and dinner a couple times before, but the food quality keep dropping and its not stable. I love the Salad there, but now it tastes totally different and they couldn't provide me the source that I used to have before. The food presentation used to be special and great, but now they just dont act like a fine-dine restaurant. The food just come out on the plate without any design.The staffs are friendly but not professional enough to be in a high-end restaurant like this. They are lack of knowledge on the food and wine they are serving. Most of them cant speak English, the only one can is the General Manager as he is a American, but he is always not there. I went there with my friend who can only speak English, no one can explain us the menu. And i need to translate everything back to my friend. The mananger back at the time we almost finished, then he walked by and talk but its already too late. I noticed that they have a big changed on staffs a few months ago but not sure if the chef is the same or not.I really dont recommend you to go as its already not the kaspia i used to dine.

呢日同 d 同事来左食 lunch, 大家都谂住豪食一餐, 知道 landmark 开左呢间新餐厅, 见到平时都 ok 多人帮衬, 段估都唔会差呀!4 个人来到, 首先餐厅环境好好, 装修好靓, 连 d 餐具一睇都知系贵野, 跟住讲服务呀, d waiter 都几好, 几有礼貌, 仲好似好专业甘, 问佢有咩好食, 佢地都会介绍, meau 有 d 唔知系咩既野, 问佢都会慢慢解释比我地听, 连倒水比我地果姿势都好得, 可以话系好专业呀!跟住我地叫左 2 个 set lunch, 再散叫左一 d 野, 叫完晒野食, 就送左一篮面包比我地, 入面都有好多个, 有几款唔同类型 tim, 味道都 ok, 跟住上个蟹肉汤, 好好饮, d 蟹肉好新鲜, 个汤又够热, 跟住到头盘, 系好似叫三文鱼他他, 三文鱼碎夹杂 d 洋葱碎, 面头仲有 d 鱼子酱 tim, 而鱼子酱份量都几多, 好抵 ~~ 另外我地仲叫左个鹅肝配薄面包, 呢个真系好好味, d 鹅肝一入口好 juice, 好软, 超正, 仲有 d jelly 粒粒, 完来入面系有酒味呀, 感觉好得意!仲有烟三文鱼, 鱼子酱格仔饼 ok, 几好味到主菜我地叫左一个阿拉 c 长脚蚧配薯仔同黑毛猪阔面, 长脚蚧好味, 不过份量少 d, 黑毛猪阔面, 我就唔系甘 like, 因为 d 面麦味好皇, 我唔 like 呢种味!甜品, 我要左个White Chocolate with Blueberry Jam, 好正, 味道唔系太甜, 最岩我, 因为我至爱 blueberry 总括来讲, 呢餐真系好正, d 野食又好味, 环境又一流, 系就系贵左少少, 不过又唔系成日去呀, 下次再储多 d 钱, 豪食过呀!!

生日饭,要自己谂地点。听同事说这里是新开的,大家都没试过,就来试试吧。我们一行五位。环境我是喜欢的,特别是它主调那种蓝,是我喜欢的海蓝。刚巧那天我穿了件 turquoise 的外套,跟餐巾衬得很!餐牌内所有选择都是海鲜类,$298 (好像差不多) 有四个course,在 Landmark 来说是很划算了。每一个 course 有两个选择,不算多。在迫于无奈下,只有选了同类材料的 crayfish 了。(starter 和 main dish)首先说说面包篮。满满的一篮,五人有两篮,是慷慨的。我身为面包怪,看见这个情景当然感动非常。但结论是.....吃遍了整篮面包,也没有一个是好吃的,这可算是高难度的,敬佩敬佩!整顿午饭都未能给我特别好感,唯一是 Onion Soup 是不错的。好像是第一次喝这样的 Onion soup,有一片法包和一层厚厚的芝士在上面,大概这才是正宗,也实在是很不错!Crayfish Risotto 不是我喜欢的口味,因为一上台已经闻到扑鼻的 Truffle 味,但我曾经因某食肆的 Truffle 食品而留下阴影,从此对 Truffle 有种莫名的抗拒感。但只得一个主菜,又怎可能不吃呢? ......吃起来仍是吃到 Truffle 味,但只停留表面,Risotto 内里是淡淡的,完全不入味。奇怪。其他都平平无奇,不作介绍了。除了 Onion soup 之外,完全没什么吸引我再光顾了。

刚好完成一个漫长的project,很想食得好些, 见到这食评, 于是一试, 其实于中环食lunch,都不算贵, 跟同事一行4人, 我们都叫了SET LUNCH, Set Lunch里, 每道菜都有选择, 我们每人点了不同款式, 可互相交换口味每枱有一篮暖烘烘面包, 不同款式, 有酸瓜(少少酸, 不是太酸, OL最钟意食, 好好味)头盘: 烟三文鱼, 三文鱼籽配法式pan cake. Norwegian Smoked Salmon, Russian Salmon Eggs,Warm Blinis and Creme Fraiche块pan cake好暖,用布好珍贵的送上, 衬三文鱼及鱼籽刚好汤; 小龙虾汤 或 鱼汤 汤很浓味, 很浓的海鲜味, 完全感觉到他们用好多海鲜去煲main course: 黑豚猪ham配粗荞麦面: 几片黑豚猪ham已经好够味,荞麦面的麦味相对比较淡,这样配撘很好, 据侍应说, 是一级黑豚猪!!!或三文鱼子配焗薯: 焗薯真的好好味呀!! 不是一般的焗薯,有充满味道的薯味,相信厨师下了些功夫才焗...甜品: Blood Orange & Raspberry Sorbet很清爽,橙味的home made sorbet, raspberry很新鲜或香蕉拖肥饼我一向不喜欢食拖肥太甜, 但这个拖肥只用来轻轻点缀, 配合香蕉,甜味已经足够环境令我们食得很开心,很casual, 我们4人都食得很满足,午餐已经这样好味, 下次一定要试下鱼子酱晚餐!!!

If Cafe Landmark is a place for the guests "to see and be seen", Caviar Kaspia would only leave you with the impression that you are "being seen" with minimum privacy throughout the whole meal there.I always like to try out new place before I decide if I would bring my clients to there. This luxury restaurant turned out to be a complete disaster:1. EnvironmentIt is located in the middle of an open area on 2/F of Landmark Mall, with the lifts to Edinburg Tower on one side and the order side is the escalator going up and down to next floors. The glass for separating the restaurant and the open area are only up to the height of 1 feet above the dining table, so when you are eating, you feel people are walking around you. 2. Table clothThey have a nice table cloth on the table, but the embroidery is wore out with the threads are coming out - remember the restaurant only opened in Nov 2008.3. PriceWe ordered set lunch which charge $380 per head. A bottle of still water cost $50. Since coffee and tea are not included in the set lunch, we had to pay $30 for ice lemon tea and $40 for a double expresso.4. ServiceThe waiter spoke so softly that I barely could hear what he said. That day, I ordered a pork with spagetti main course while my friend ordered a spicy fish with spagetti main course. But since we were chatting, the waiter just put down two main courses without asking which one belong to whom. When I started eating, I found that it was very spicy, it turned out that the waiter mixed the orders and put the wrong dishes in front of us! While the manager helped to switch mine back to the pork one, but I was so disappointed with the service as the set lunch was way to pricey!The restaurant is only 15% filled during lunch time on that day. Overall, not sure how this restaurant would last for long under the financial tsunami given its overpriced food and lousy service...
