Wondering what to eat, I noticed these amazing photos of char siu and egg with rice at this place called Congteakafe. After spending a couple of weeks home in Canada, I had a serious craving for char siu. Off I went to find this place!However, when I sat down, they informed me that they had run out of char siu! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!I had to order something else. They had a variety of menus but I decided to get something off their tea set menu. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service

難得放假 其實鍾意食啲comfort food不停咁搵一啲吸引嘅少餐廳😊嚟到餐廳名特別嘅茶咖宅 好容易記喔行上嚟有啲遠 不過環境幾清靜!廚師精選 有飯類及意粉$48-68上環滑蛋叉燒飯 $48呢樣係最吸引我嘅配最愛半肥瘦叉燒同甜豉油, 有熱辣辣滑蛋用公雞碗載住有老香港特色！下次都會嚟再過！烤鯖魚魚柳 $54鐘意食魚嘅佢，睇完menu即刻揀咗呢樣，我試咗少少，魚皮炸得香口，都唔錯！餐廳嘅職員都好友善， 本來想坐窗口位等咗一陣客人走咗都幫我調位，空間都好舒服！

We were driving through Square Street and came across Congteakafe. From the name, we thought this place serves congee but it serves both Chinese and Western style cuisine. 「叉燒煎蛋飯」有「黯然銷魂飯」之稱，我也非常喜歡。在上環出名的叉燒煎蛋飯首推孖沙茶餐廳，但最近發現一家賣叉燒炒蛋飯雖未至「黯然銷魂」，但也相當不錯吃。 上環文武廟每天都人頭湧湧，在其旁邊有條小路，轉上便是四方街。沿斜路上會見到一幅漂亮的李小龍塗鴉，茶咖宅就正正在李小龍塗鴉的對面。 早餐午市，茶咖宅都一應俱全，賣的都是非常地道的港式食品。午市餐牌大量錯別字，也可說是港式茶餐廳的特色吧（笑）。 叉燒炒蛋飯除了主角叉燒和炒蛋，還有不少椰菜。炒蛋即叫即炒，夠熱夠滑，配上甜豉油是一大驚喜。 另一主角叉燒則略嫌瘦了點，但幸好肉質還算鬆化，加上蜜味不錯，配上滑蛋還是很有看頭。邊吃邊呷一口奶茶，在這寧靜的小街很是寫意。 紅雞碗，港奶茶，還有地道的叉燒炒蛋，加上用心製作，茶咖宅是值得支持的港式小店。

Got steak and eggs and was really satisfied with the amount of food for the price. Came here for takeout. The only difficult thing about this place is that it's a bit hard to find, you have to go up some stairs and it's a bit away from the Main Street. It's definitely worth it though, was not busy in the morning and was really quick as well.

Nice local HK Tea house food with a cute western twist, like serving the latte in Chinese bowls.Chilled environment with the restaurant opening up with table on street site, when weather cooler.Also, the owner provides bicycle parking stand for those cycling there, to park on the quite road outside cafe.

早幾日好想食港式早餐，即刻諗起呢間cafe , 之前食過佢地嘅下午茶餐覺得好味道, 製作用心，今次試下早餐先😊去到嘅時候冇乜人，我叫左魚柳炒蛋多士餐跟咖啡。炒蛋好滑好香，多士好新鮮跟埋牛油，仲有茄汁焗豆，餐嘅份量好夠飽我都差D食唔曬☺️另外，好鍾意呢度嘅熱咖啡！我平時多數只係飲奶茶，唔係特別鍾意飲咖啡但呢度嘅咖啡好特別，佢冇苦或者酸味，好順滑同有一種好似拖肥嘅香味❤️唔知其他人覺得點呢，但就好適合我口味....我會形容呢個係令人好有精神嘅早餐😄店內裝修modern，燈光暗暗地又有自然光透入黎好舒服，店員亦好有禮貌...相比坐到背脊貼背脊嘅地道茶餐廳，我反而鍾意呢度可以悠閒咁食，希望食物質素可以繼續keep 住咁好👍🏼👍🏼支持

食物質素好過附近收$200一個all day breakfast 既cafe. 食物價錢大概由$50-$70 ，非常低食。餐廳位於四方街，所以用餐時十分清靜，唔會車來車往：）
