#breakfastforlunch, #cheapeat, #happy valleyI of course wanted to try the popular one next door... but due to my lack of patient as always, I gave it up and fond something nearby... walking.to thus because I dun hv to wait... very soon I can feel that everyone there knows each other... i was not invited to be sited, but once I sit down and couldn't find the menu, one of the customers on the next table provided me one... then all the customers started to chat over each other in a very friendly and supportive manner...bit the food.... not so good

D碟头饭份量细得可怜. 叫咗个四宝饭，咁大个人都未试过咁难食. 简直系有违常理. 二块鸡肉，三旧烧肉，一只卤水蛋，d姜葱系咁捞埋一齐，最不满系啲饭，又唔热又好硬，好似隔咗夜咁，真系衰过俾乞儿食咁. 个餐成$50 + $2冻饮，食呢个午餐刚刚好系中午食饭时间，竟然要三个字先出到， 跟餐有杯冻柠茶，食饭食到一半都未有，仲要叫咗员工几次先有，出午餐都咁慢， 我去其他地方都好过佢. 因为系同事请食饭，所以冇系现场出声，如果唔系，实闹到反肚. 一定冇下次！

老爸在附近医院做检查🏥心知附近没有什么特别好的用餐点，见这间不用等位，反正只是午餐，就随便选择这间吧！虽然心中不存期望，食物质素差不用说，筷子🥢刀叉🍴在台边柜桶自己拿的，最惊吓的是一拿上手，筷子是油淋淋的😱像没有用洗洁精的感觉，问侍应拿了一只碗，那只碗像上手食客用完，用纸巾抹干再拿给我们用的感觉🤣用水一冲，碗中浮起一片油，再用手洗碗内和碗边，都有凹凹凸凸完全未清洗干净的东西在，用了两杯水洗当算洗干净了😅点了两份午餐👇四季豆炒鸡柳饭👉只是䇜汁太稠，味道中矩中规，49蚊一个午餐连中汤或咖啡茶，不能有什么要求呢🤷🏻♀️豉油皇火腿炒面👉相信连最差的豉油味道都不是，还可以称得上豉油皇炒面！？🙅🏻♀️批评了这么多，也公道一点的说，侍应大部分是长者年纪，服务不至于太差。当天是星期六的中午十二点半，食客不多，我们坐在卡位也算舒适，至少没有小强🦗来跟我们打招呼🤣顺带一提，也许天气太热，见几部冷气机都出风口都很大风，但没什么冷气🥵

There is one thing boyfriend often complains about when he eats in my neighbourhood. The lack of inexpensive cha chan tengs. There are two but both are not cheap and well ... not that good either. But recently, a new cha chan teng has opened. So, boyfriend met me here for breakfast on my day off.老友记茶餐厅 (English name: Good Friend Restaurant) is fairly large with spacious seating. Air conditioning was extremely strong as well. Menu is in Chinese only. There is no English. There is no 10% service charge.During the morning, they have a breakfast menu where they offer sets.They also offer afternoon tea menus and all day menus like any other cha chan teng. At night, they have a quick Chinese main and rice sets. Sets come with a drink.I ordered a sandwich and pasta soup set for $32. My sandwich I chose was an scrambled egg sandwich. I didn't want it toasted but perhaps I should have as it looked a bit sad upon arrival. The egg was a bit flat but at least it wasn't oily as some placed often do.I chose a macaroni with slices of ham. It was served in a big bowl and portions were fairly large. I was really full when I finished my meal. The ham was ok. Not too salty. The macaroni was soft but not mushy. The soup was your general MSG flavored soup.Boyfriend chose the fried pork chop set for $38. It came with a pork chop, scrambled egg, some salad and toast. He was really happy they gave him a lot of mayo as he said so many places were stingy on this. The lettuce was a bit old as it was browning on the edges. But the pork chop was pretty good. The coating was crispy. The meat was moist and tender. Definitely a stand out.Not a great cha chan teng but definitely one of the cheaper options in Happy Valley. Only worth while if you are in the area and want something cheap.

一家人黎食晚饭，同行有两位年过80嘅老人家，侍应安排我地嘅座位对正冷气风位，但由于餐厅地方浅窄，无其他座位可以选择，侍应话可以帮我地教细啲冷气。但坐好之后侍应都冇帮我地教细冷气，只系不停介绍菜单，我地全枱人已经著晒褛拎晒披肩，啲风都仲吹到应，只系坐左几分钟已经觉得好冻，再叫侍应帮手教左个冷气先，佢无视我地嘅要求，任由我地系咁吹风，话要我地落完单先会教，好似只系为左氹我地入黎氹我地落左单先。我地只系想简单食餐饭，所以都尽快落单，但落完，佢都仲行黎行去搞完一轮先去教下个冷气，教完啲风都仲好劲，老人家都仲话好冻，我地再要求佢再教细啲，或者只系熄左我地头顶𠮶部，因为都仲有其余两部，佢全部拒绝。我地唔想老人家冷病，起身打算走，佢先即刻帮我地熄左部冷气，仲大大声话「你地自己要熄架，一阵热你地唔好出声！」过无几分钟，佢又开返部冷气，同我地讲佢冇开「冷气」只系开返啲风咁，但依啲「风」直情系喷到有白烟，冇停过系咁喷，而且又系劲冻，我地再次起身打算走，最后系隔离枱其他食客都唔想老人家系咁吹风，自己话同我地换枱，而佢地就成餐都吹住啲风劲冻咁食饭。
