I went to this restaurant for a quick lunch yesterday, I chose this place because when I was a school girl, I used to be here for lunch with my classmates, but I believe this restaurant now is not the same as before.A staff escorted me to a table, and after they took my order, a young man came to sit opposite me. A staff escorted me to a table, and after they took my order, a young man came to sit opposite me. I remembered the young man sat opposite me ordered the Chinese Style Steam Egg, his food arrived earlier than mine.
I ordered lunch set D “Baked Spaghetti with Steak & Mushroom”, waiting for more than 10 minutes, my food has arrived, oh my god, the smell is not right, but I didn’t complain, I finished up my food. No vegetable to accompany the spaghetti, the texture of the spaghetti is ok, the sliced mushroom is normal. The worst part is the sauce and the beef, first, the sauce taste burnt and sour , I would prefer truly tomato or black pepper taste; second, the steak is just few big pieces of beef fillets, without bone but a lot of tendons, hard to chew.
There seems to be varieties of dishes available, from set A to set H, but actually not quite balance, too meaty for me. I saw some people eating stir-fried instant noodles with Char Siu, unfortunately this kind of dishes is not to my liking.
