It was late in the evening and we were in the mood of having something spicy as late night snack. Then by coincidence we bumped into this small place at the corner of an alley with only few tables on the street.The appetizers were the greatest of the evening. We ordered Thai Raw Prawns and Raw See Hum (Cockles). They were very fresh and the homemade source that came together with them was the best we’ve ever tasted. Next time I should ask the chef to sell me some in bottle for other seafoods like oyster and clams.As my friend is allergic to prawn, the chef was so kind to specially prepare a prawn-free Tom Yum soup for us by substituting prawn with meatballs. It was a fantastic creation without losing too much favors.Then we ordered a lamb curry, mixed BBQ and Garlic bread. Despite we were quite full the garlic bread was another great surprise – they were toasted just right with plenty of butter and not too much garlic that could have masked the taste of butter. It was also an excellent match with the lamb curry.Given the fact that we were full and almost drunk (we carried two bottles of red wine there too), in all fairness, the mixed BBQ were just good but not as outstanding as the other dishes we enjoyed earlier. We guess if we started with BBQ only we would enjoy them much more – perhaps we should try that next time!Later we had a little chat with the owner and chef and she prided herself for still being able to freshly prepare all the dished practically from scratch, and not like other places where they pre-cooked everything and reheat when the orders come. That could be one reason why we overheard she told other customers they should be prepared to wait a bit before their dishes were served. Anyway, I hope they will survive and thrive as it is not easy to find reasonably priced small restaurant who take cooking seriously, and that’s the reason I decided to write down our pleasant experiences

𠮶日谂住同朋友去千色店旁边𠮶间泰国大排档食嘢,(住元朗的大都知道我讲边间~)但𠮶日唔知做咩事好多人,要等好耐先有位,由于行左成日街真系好累,见隔离开左间新嘢,D食物相又影到鬼死咁靓,加上老板娘又热情招待…好啦~就一于坐低试下啦!!老板娘知我地一心想食泰国菜,于是叫我地试下佢地既咖哩,佢话佢地D咖哩系用印尼香料做,同平时出面𠮶D唔同…(佢讲左好多嘢…)经佢既介绍之下,我地最后叫左:1. 咖哩鸡配薄饼2. 生菜包3. 炸鱼仔(我唔记得系咩鱼…)4. 印尼炒饭5. 蒸茄子6. 炒介兰咖哩鸡— D咖哩真系同出面𠮶D好唔同,好香好抢口~~薄饼 — 好有重庆大厦D印度餐馆风味,正!生菜包 — 可能我本身钟意食辣,D肉松有少少辣味,I LIKE~而且,D生菜好翠绿,比我感觉好新鲜~~炸鱼仔 — 炸到好香口,送啤酒一流~~印尼炒饭 — 又是一大surprise,唔识讲,总之好好食~蒸茄子 — 鱼香茄子我就食得多,但蒸我都系第一次食,效果出奇地唔错~炒介兰 — OK~唯一美中不足就系上菜比较耐,老板娘解释系因为即叫做,以保持食物质素.的确,又真系好食,等下到OK既~如果同朋友食饭吹水就认真一流,因为唔洗比人赶嘛~~~我地4个人连饮嘢都系每人$100,好低食呀!!~~~
