What I had tonight was a great dining experience with my parents... ^^ especially my mother, she was very impressed by the japanese salmon that she had at a chinese restaurant!~~ recommend for family gathering~~

Four of us ordered 4 dishes and 2 dessert.... personally, I have 2 favourites... no no should be 3:

1) Appetizer - salmon: once see the color and the decoration, I know it would be fresh and delicious... Yes, I am correct!~ it is very very fresh!~

2) prawn with oat and egg yolk... the name is special, that's why we ordered it.....
Again, we love the crispy thing - the prawn, actually the prawn was coated with a layer of egg yolk with oat, the oily egg yolk is therefore filtered by the oat, very tasty... the main point is.. not reli oily.. good for OL like me ^^ (cannot hestitate to eat, forgot to take photo~~)

3) vegetables which is cooked in casserole, this is one the staff recommend... the cooking style is ... minced pork with vegetables, and was cooked in a casserole.... special, and delicious.... the most important thing is.... this cooking style, all the ingredients are hot enough, very impressive!~

too many to say, let's share some photos ... I should have taken all delicious photos... but, the point is... when the staff just put down the dishes, you would forget everything ..... -_-

星期日一家大細來到呢間睇來係銅鑼灣區最好環境的粵菜酒樓飲茶,以為無需定位,但原來星期天都幾FULL,下次都係先定位較好.飲茶食既都不離蝦餃,燒賣,果然材料好FRESH,最要推介係流沙包,一定要趁熱食,里面的流沙又香又滑,稍一不慎還彈到對面.一籠只有三隻,小朋友鍾意食,ORDER兩籠先够喉.下次一定再食.....

對唔住, 我打中文太慢所以唯有打英文。希望大家睇得明。I'll tell you what just happened to me and my family in this restaurant. About this place I have a few conclusions here: a) the food is bad; b) the cunning servers will do absolutely ANYTHING to push you into ordering the expensive stuff; c) if you fail to fall for their proposals they want you to pay for it.

Basically what happened this time was that there was this server who suggested we order this kind of grouper (東星斑) which would cost quite a lot, and we took it. After a while another lady came and told us that this kind was sold out, and proposed trying another kind that's even more expensive. We figured we didn't really need this, so we decided to just go for a seafood stir-fry that was way cheaper. The lady then spoke through a walkie-talkie informing the guy who took our orders our decision, someone among us caught a glimpse of him LITERALLY collapsing on his feet sighing! My guess is that our original order WASN'T sold out, it was their way of tricking us into going for something even MORE pricey! Another thing happened when the check came: The grouper we never ate was on the bill! This could possibly be a simple mistake on their part, this I admit. But together with what happened earlier this seemed highly suspicious! So simply because we didn't fall for your filthy tricks you wanna make sure we pay for your "loss" is that right? And ALSO when we pointed this out, the lady that brought us the check had to ask around making sure that the order REALLY DIDN'T make its way to our table. I'm sorry but this is ugly. This kind of disrespect had NEVER happened to us in a relatively upscale restaurant. Oh, and did I mention that we've had nothing which quality was above mediocre?

So if you believe this true story of mine, don't EVER come to this restaurant and in your mean time, spread the words amongst your friends so that they don't come to this restaurant EITHER.

論裝修排場，這裡可算是五星級，價錢亦與五星級酒店中菜廳看齊，但食物質素很一般。一家人weekday吃飯試新店，發現餐廳人流不多，只有幾檯客，總之唔駛訂位啦。先來個蒜片燒汁煎神戶和牛，每顆牛肉粒都很多根，很難嚼，令我爸悖然大怒，還好部長識做，表示歉意並提議該碟不計錢，我們才順氣。班腩豆腐煲很香口，最適合送飯，整餐算最好吃，但很多館子，包括一些級數稍遜的也可做到同樣質素。芥蘭很普遍，我家菲傭可能煮得更好。半隻雞不過不失，普普通通。最後的甜品是西米布甸，我想我的舌頭被寵壞了，覺得麻麻地。

Tired of Waiting

Went there for my mother's birthday dinner with the rest of the family. There was some problem in the kitchen and quite a few dishes were unavailable. Therefore, we ordered what we could get and initially it was okay. The soup and the first 2 dishes arrived and were served quite promptly. Then the rest took such a long time to arrive, around 20 to 30 minutes between each dish. The children were getting bored and we found the whole experience extremely offputting. This problem was not restricted

It appeared that the restaurant was short-handed in the kitchen as well as in the dining area as well. The waiters were hiding out of sight or were busy somewhere else.

To top it all, we asked for the bill as soon as the last dish turned up but that also took around 15 minutes with the first waitress forgetting our request!!!

For such a reputedly "high class" restaurant serving relatively expensive food, the service and the time it took for the food to arrive was totally unacceptable. Hell will freeze over before we will visit the place again.

First again to review this restaurant. Lucky me.I was shopping and came late for lunch, so most of the dishes were ordered by the time I arrive. The restaurant gave us a private room as we had booked for 12 and said they will not impose a minimum charge.Dim sums were interesting, a bamboo sheet roll in what was like Bortsch soup. We drank the soup in the pot after eating the rolls. As it was so interesting, we ordered 3 more portions. Their famous Best Buns in the World I didn't appreciate, they

Dim sums were interesting, a bamboo sheet roll in what was like Bortsch soup. We drank the soup in the pot after eating the rolls. As it was so interesting, we ordered 3 more portions. Their famous Best Buns in the World I didn't appreciate, they were like meat buns but served in a stone pot where the stone was hot and slightly browned the sides of the bun. But I thought they were a little mushy inside.

Char siu sweet buns were OK but took ages to come.
Soy sauce fried noodles is one of our favourite dishes, we order it wherever we go and this restaurant makes one of the best. Fried pea shoot were green and not overly done, this was finished easily. Yin Yang rice was different from other restaurants in that one side was tomato sauce chicken and the other was crab in cream sauce rather than prawns in cream sauce. We all prefer crab. The rice came in a dish with 2 sections side by side and we appreciated the extra efforts the restaurant makes in its decor and crockery. I am a sucker for nice crockery.

This is a good choice restaurant for entertaining and fancy Cantonese food. Special efforts were made with the decor so it is more like Island Tang than say Fook Lam Moon.
