I have heard of this restaurant for long, but didn't yet have time to try it until days ago. It's located in Tower 535 and so pretty convenient to everywhere else in Causeway Bay. Upon arrival, you will be impressed by the fancy decorations at the corridor passage. Upon arrival, you will be impressed by the fancy decorations at the corridor passage.

The waitress told us that sea bass was not available that day. I took the miso salmon in the end but we are both quite disappointed at the limited choice of seafood in the menu.

The Caesar salad is good and the chicken is juicy. I especially like the taste of the cheese on top of it.

So my friend and I requested for a table by the window, however no window-side table was available. So we waited patiently and when we finally got to move to the table we want, the waitress didn't help us move so we had to move the plates and utensils ON OUR OWN... More and more, it was so difficult to get the waiters/waiteresses, as they seemed 'really busy' or that they couldn't actually see us with our hands raising up high. More and more, it was so difficult to get the waiters/waiteresses, as they seemed 'really busy' or that they couldn't actually see us with our hands raising up high. Even worse, while we were ordering, the waitress was constantly giving us that 'annoyed' facial expression, which was not appreciated for a so called 5-star restaurant. ...like if we didn't expect good service, we would had gone to local cheap 大排檔..

Food was average...
Yellow tail sashimi:
Fresh and with a strong taste of truffle.. however a bit too oily
King crab salad:
The best dish among the three. Great combination of tastes: fresh king crab and sea urchin with avocado. Highly recommended.
Mediterranean style turbot: very average.

Undoubtedly, the view there was incredible and the designer surely have good taste of decorating the place. But that is all we liked about the Seafood Room.

Probably won't recommend this restaurant to friends or come next time. Way too disappointed..

Walked in on a sunday evening , Whatever we ordered was either not chilled properly , or out of stock, the waitress has no smile the entire time, letting people sharing the table with us without even asking , in all, it was a very bad experience and big big disappointment and we will not come back for sure , bad service indeed , so much more nice and attentive places in hongkong for sure . Suggest the restaurant and bar to train their staff better

Appetizer-{Tuna tataki-pickled cucumber,sesame dressing} 火炙呑拿魚伴以芝麻醋醬油汁,飾以醃漬青瓜,香葱和蕃茜;這道菜沒有難度,最要緊是魚肉新鮮度,必定要刺身級數和厚切,方能火炙四邊加以醬料調味後,不會令魚生醃熟;盛在黑瑠璃碟子上有三片魚肉,從顏色看已知吞拿魚很新鮮,魚肉微涼,口感嫰滑,油脂甘香,調味也適中,首個印象不錯.

八爪魚煑腬後再加辣椒,青檸汁,蕃茄烹煑,味道質感拿揑得宜,沒有過腬而保持嚼感,個人口味可以更加辛辣,而烤菊苣一小片,略嫌太小氣,菊苣特有苦澀味很有個性且爽脆,若然放多兩片置碗底,作裝飾之餘,同時可增加味道口感的層次感.

三枚炸得金黃香脆的三文魚餅伴以香蔥忌廉汁,外形美觀;切開魚餅,𥚃面滿是濕潤魚肉,蠻好沒有過熟,口感柔和,調味中庸,忌廉汁的清新正好中和了炸物的肥膩感;只是略嫌外皮粉漿過厚,有欠仔細.

稱得上砂鍋casserole,就該是將材料放入深口的器皿後入爐烤焗;端上枱的菜肴怎看也缺了特有風味,似是蕃茄燉煑海鮮;蕃茄醬汁濃郁味美,採用大量祛皮祛秄蕃茄烹調,可是海鮮饀料來去只有碎濕濕的魷魚和魚粒,這些材料真的很小塊儼如正常魚柳上下裁出來的剩餘物資,而魷魚小巧得可憐,魷魚鬚大多只有幾毫米粗,感覺很不大方,應該用匙羹舀起來吃;而蕃茄汁和海鮮比重失衡,醬汁很多,淨吃而沒有薯蓉,米飯粉麵伴隨,有點吃力..

Dessert-{Selection of ice cream & sorbet}朋友的紅桑子和荔枝雪芭清新怡人,甜酸得宜,配合開心果蛋白脆餅,軟硬鬆脆的口感對比,顏色的踫撞,加強了味覺和視覺的層次感.

巧克力慕絲夠香濃幼滑,配以爆炸糖增加趣味性.造型亦小巧精緻,紫色食用花畫龍點晴,將本來平凡的甜點變得不一樣.

Seafood Room美則美矣,可惜在令人驚嘆的氣派低下,菜餚製作似乎未進入狀態..若然以此水平的西洋海鮮料理要在香港扎根分一杯羹,或作為跳板揮軍內地,我想除了華麗的外衣和雄厚財力,還要有很多的努力,和運氣.

So it was my friends birthday, we had 14 people. We were going to choose the cheaper meal $4xx but then because it was my friends birthday we decided to go with the $7xx set meal. We had to choose between scallop , wagyu steak, salmon. I chose the wagyu steak ordered medium rare. The steak came and it was almost well done, so disappointed. So it was my friends birthday, we had 14 people. We were going to choose the cheaper meal $4xx but then because it was my friends birthday we decided to go with the $7xx set meal. We had to choose between scallop , wagyu steak, salmon. I chose the wagyu steak ordered medium rare. The steak came and it was almost well done, so disappointed. The seafood platter was nothing special, almost everything was available at those all you can eat Japanese restaurant. So 12 people ordered the wagyu, none of us finished the steak. The scallop was probably the better choice. We ordered a wine, finished one bottle, they asked if we wanted a second bottle, okay sure, then they kept bringing 6 more bottles without asking us if we wanted it. So we ordered two but we had to pay for eight. Seriously? $1600 / per person , so disappointed, I feel ripped off. The place is nice for happy hour drinks for the view though. Never coming back again! Oh by the way the managers attitude was cocky as f*** , we had 14 people, 1 person left early so I asked them if we could change 1 steak to scallop, the manager said "sorry we already prepared the steak and it is cooked to exactly the right temperature" and then the well cooked steak comes... guys don't waste your money here, I eat out everyday at nice restaurants and this was a really bad experience.

成件蛋糕都係灰黑色,好足料咁喎!芝麻味好重,質感雖然唔係我最愛嘅硬身cheesecake,有啲偏軟身,但出奇地cheese味好足夠,再點啲新鮮raspberry醬一齊食,真係非常非常後悔冇叫多一件嚟食!兩個人share一件,點滿足啊?!

Seafood platter for two 每一樣食物都好新鮮,有刺身,生蠔x4,海蝦(好細隻),蜆x2...之不過$8xx每樣得少少就好明顯一半去咗食環境啦。

Tartare 淨係條魚都加唔少分,細嫩鮮甜!呢一個他他係好無敵

Carpaccio八爪魚就無乜特別嘅,一定係爽口彈牙。

其實呢度食物係完全唔會令人失望嘅!加上因為咁靚嘅環境所以食物偏貴都好正常

我好鍾意食蟹, 貝殼類. 第一次去呢間Seafood Room, 當然有期望. 不過我老公唔鐘意食海鮮,  好彩佢地都有澳洲和牛. 對住海景食晚餐, 寧舍開胃.頭盤係 shrimp & scallop tartare, 撈勻食, 好鮮味我main course 揀左king crab leg, 隻蟹腳好鬼粗, 啖啖肉.唔係淨得海鮮, 我老公食和牛rib eye, 佢話好得, 肉嫩多汁, 外層grill 到啱啱好.食物高質素. 環境一流, 坐得好舒服, 裝修好有型格, 我仲見到佢掛左好多藝術品, 有位經理(好靚仔架) 留意到我對D畫好好奇, 佢帶我行左一圈, 睇哂所有畫, 呢個經驗好特別. 餐廳有個Seasonal menu, 有D好特別的description, 例如個菜式係inspired by Salvodor Dali... 令我好想下次去試吓.  總括來說, 食物高質, 環境好靚, Staff 又非常之友善 (又靚仔, 嘻嘻...), 好快想再去. 唯一係價錢確係略高過一般餐廰.

唔係淨得海鮮, 我老公食和牛rib eye, 佢話好得, 肉嫩多汁, 外層grill 到啱啱好.

This is a fine seafood restaurant in Hong Kong. It is actually a fine choice for dinner and lunch. Thank you Jack recommend daily catch sea bass, it was very nice and beautiful, and service was quick and friendly. After our family's party, Jack recommend rooftop to us. It was amazing view and Shisha was nice . We very enjoy that night. Thank you Seafood room give us a great experience. We will come again in future.

We went with some friends  and it is a wonderful restaurant with excellent staff. My friend and I  had a wonderful evening with great food & atmosphere. Drinks also good and service super friendly. Recommend to try rib eye and miso salmon!This restaurant is on our list of favorites. We would return for sure!

Recommend this place to celebrate for special occasion. Friend suggests so why not give a try. Top floor on the Tower 535, spectacular 360 view of Victoria harbor. I am a seafood lover and the restaurant provides large variety choice different kind of fishes.  Langoustine tartare and Luxury seafood platter are my favor. With friendly and caring staffs, highly recommended.

Open kitchen 俾客人見到廚司很細心地為你準備食物,非常欣賞。今次係第一次來這餐廳食午飯,食物水準都非常高。當我order shrimp risotto,waiter 竟然細心到問我要傳統的硬到,定係well done. 加分Served 我們的waiter很細❤️,都係為這間餐廳加分的因素。To conclude, this restaurant will be added in my list and i will absolutely come back again

今天是訂了restaurant week 的$198午餐。到達餐廳後發現環境非常不錯。大大的落地玻璃,非常光猛,有海景,樓底非常高,餐廳佔了一整層,非常大,座位都很闊很舒服。食物方面,就是令人失望的地方,頭盤是八爪魚沙律。份量非常小,除了薯仔和兩片菜,很難才找到兩小片八爪魚。八爪魚的質地不錯,味道正常。主菜是seafood and fish casserole. 還以爲真的是casserole, 原來又是很小的一碟,裡面有一片魚和幾粒墨魚,除此之外就沒有任何其他所謂seafood. 相當令人失望,那個蕃茄汁是做得可以的,不會太酸也不嗆喉。甜品選了雪糕,server 說是peach 和melon 味,但來到的是mango 和令一種我和朋友都食不出是什麼的味道。但食得出是比較低質的雪糕,不好食,我也沒有把它食完,浪費quota.不知道是不是restaurant week set lunch 要將貨就價的原故,份量都異常地細。但我覺得$198 再加一只食到幾片八爪魚/墨魚和一啖魚再加兩球低質的雪糕其實真的非常非常不值。其實餐廳參加restaurant week 不是要讓更多顧客認識其餐廳嗎?

主菜是seafood and fish casserole. 還以爲真的是casserole, 原來又是很小的一碟,裡面有一片魚和幾粒墨魚,除此之外就沒有任何其他所謂seafood. 相當令人失望,那個蕃茄汁是做得可以的,不會太酸也不嗆喉。

不知道是不是restaurant week set lunch 要將貨就價的原故,份量都異常地細。但我覺得$198 再加一只食到幾片八爪魚/墨魚和一啖魚再加兩球低質的雪糕其實真的非常非常不值。

其實餐廳參加restaurant week 不是要讓更多顧客認識其餐廳嗎?設計如此差勁的menu 其實只會讓新顧客留下不好的第一印象,何必呢?不如不要參加restaurant week 好了。

Think this is the 3rd review I've ever written in my life about any restaurant, when I do it's usually because I'm pretty disappointed.

First time trying, read some good reviews and was very excited. However, our waiter was worst than clueless, given a higher end restaurant, one would expect the staff would know their own menu.

1) Started off by ordering wine, which took forever to come. Finally the waiter came with wine glasses, but no bottle. Weird. Disappears for 10 minutes, so I had to find another waiter asking where my wine is. 

2) Decided to go with the "Market" Lobster, asked the waiter what choices did they offer. Waiter had no clue. After some back and forth, we decide to "boil" the lobster. We then had to ask the waiter if it came with any sauce (since he didn't ask what sauce we wanted). He again wasn't sure, "we have any sauce...like...butter...garlic...you know". Really bad response.

3) Lobster came. Sauce didn't. Forgot to mention even though the restaurant was not busy, the waiter was nowhere to be found, absolutely clueless. 5 minutes found a manager walking by, who then had to find the waiter. By the time the sauce finally came, it was 10mins later....clearly lobster was cold already. Paid $720 for cold lobster that I had to chase down the sauce for.

Warm octopus salad was very good, other than that, very very poor service for the ambience and food quality they are trying to go for. No wonder it was so empty, hope they get their act together.
