Having a sudden crave for Thai food and at Causeway vicinity, we decided to look around nearby for any Thai restaurant. Thaiology was located at Causeway Bay Plaza 2, couple of minutes walk from Causeway Bay MTR.The menu was comprehensive, offering salad, soup, grilled items, snacks, meat, rice or noodle, seafood, vegetables, drinks and desserts etc. They do have dinner set for 2 or 4 persons as well. Snack platter - It consisted of fish cake, shrimp cake, chicken wings, spring rolls, chicken & pork satay, thus it was very filling. Shrimp cake and chicken wings were fried till the skin were crispy and yet the meat was still juicy. There were shrimp bits in the shrimp cake. Spring rolls were fried till crispy, fish cake was chewy. Pork and chicken satay were chewy and juicy, grilled till charred in taste, with satay sauce provided to enhance the taste.
Fresh coconut - It was sweet and clear, fresh as well. Coconut meat was chewy and sweet too. Honey longan aloe special - Longan and aloe vera were mixed together with the honey in the drink, thus it was sweet and clear, very refreshing. Longan and aloe vera were sweet and chewy.
Fresh lime soda was gassy and refreshing, with strong lime taste.
Tom Yum seafood soup - It was served in a hotpot, with fire below, thus maintaining the heat for quite awhile. It consisted of tiger prawn, mushroom, squid and mussels etc, which were fresh and juicy. Soup was sour and slightly spicy, very appetizing.
Spicy and sour chicken feet - It was slightly sweet and spicy, very appetizing. Chicken feet was soft and chewy too.
Thai stir-fried mixed vegetables - There were alot of assorted vegetables in it, fried till juicy and crunchy, helping to compliment those heavy food we have eaten earlier.
Half Hainanese chicken - Portion of the chicken was huge, with the meat chewy and skin steamed till juicy and soft. Chilli sauce, garlic sauce and dark sauce was provided to dip onto it, traditional way of eating Hainanese chicken.
Pad Thai - The chef was generous with the serving of prawns and sliced beancurd in it, which was fresh. Pad thai was fried till flavourful and chewy.
Durian mochi - The skin was smooth, and the durian filling was soft and creamy, with strong durian taste.
