202210月周末-泰皇鸡地点位于上水符兴街9号地下周末到上水办点事后，晩上繁忙时间，找地方医肚，路过泰皇鸡，不用排队，因在联和墟也买过数次外卖原只海南鸡，水准合格，对食物有点信心入内试试上水分店。点餐: 香茅猪扒金边粉-船汤($42)店员说可选清淡或船汤，冬荫公汤底另加$8船汤黑色汤底，味道浓郁，材料应该是加入了猪血做汤底，不过不会有血腥味，金边粉口感软中带有嚼劲，味道不错出事位在猪扒，猪扒切成一条条形状，猪扒肉味道一般，但猪油部份很多泰皇海南鸡饭($53)卖相不错，油饭份量多，鸡部位有胸，也有少量髀位置，鸡肉嫩，皮不脆，配上泰式鸡酱提味，味道合格油饭颜色黄澄澄，饭粒湿湿碎碎，有部份竟然生米，未煮成熟饭一边食一边想起早前在圆方的天天海南鸡饭分店的油饭，味道简直相差太远附送的例汤，虽然无味精，也没有太多的味道埋单: $95 ，没有加一服务费价钱不贵，服务尚可船汤味道不错，可惜猪扒金边粉似变成猪油渣金边粉，加上真系史上最难食的生米油饭不会再光顾

近一个月热到无乜胃口，今晚就想整返餐开胃泰菜食饱啲，行到水货街附近见到泰皇鸡好似好多人等外卖就入去望望，睇完餐牌都想试，同埋都废事再行咁远揾其他嘢食就坐低算。睇相啲海南鸡似乎好正，但下次再试。今次试咗个猪髀饭先，猪髀啲色水卤得唔错，味道都算几好。另外仲叫咗个扎肉船面，个汤浓郁惹味，金边粉都好食，最后仲饮晒成碗船面汤，非常之咁正。我哋另外仲嗌咗个虾饼小食，好好咬口，非常咁弹牙，真系整得好好食，算系喜出望外，下次过嚟试埋其他小食。整体来讲，食物水准高，店员服务好，呢间一定会再 encore。

平时成日都系到买外卖泰式海南鸡做𩠌今日因为屋企人过嚟食饭，所以多人就可以试埋其他小菜菜除咗一定食嘅海南鸡（😋9/10，记得拎多一个sauce)我哋仲叫咗生菜包(😋9/10，呢个系除咗一定食嘅海南鸡，我哋常叫嘅dish👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 佢落劲多泰式香料一齐炒 劲 好 食)春卷(😋9/10， 十分recommend 我觉得好好食，应该有加芋头 好香，拎到屋企都仲好脆)Pad Thai(😋6/10，正常pad Thai 不过唔知系咪外卖所以有少少淋)猪颈肉(😋4/10,肉就还好，系个sauce救返)虾饼(😋9/10，唔会好多粉)呢间舖头自己嘅sauce 真系好 好 食 有少少辣又酸酸甜甜 劲开胃😌😌😌😍

快餐feel嘅海南鸡饭,鸡肉嫩滑，米饭系粒粒分明用姜黄粉煮黄色𠮶啲，非常好嘅外卖选择，堂食唔算多位！价钱合理，好快可以出餐唔使等，食得过！下次有机会会试吓Menu其他嘢

Came across 泰皇鸡 (English name: Thai King Chicken) on a day trip to this area. There were quite a few people there and we were hungry so we decided to give it a try. It's mostly take away though they have a decently spaced seating area in the back.Menu is in Chinese only. There is no 10% service charge. You order and pay at the cashier and they'll bring the food to you when ready.I decided to get the Hainan chicken rice ($53). Everything was served in easily disposable containers.There was a lot of rice. Rice was ok. Not too oily with a nice fragance to it. The portion of chicken was a lot. It was not flavoured but at least the meat was tender. Skin not too fat.The set came with a bowl of soup. This was a basic chicken broth with a piece of daikon in it. Not a lot of flavour but at least hot.We added a deep fried shrimp cakes ($32) as an appetizer to share. These were quite good. Firm texture. Lots of shrimp taste. It came with a spicy sweet Thai dipping sauce.For an additional $8, you can add on a coconut milk which boyfriend did. The coconut milk was not too good. It was watered down and they added ice to make it even more watered down.Boyfriend had the Thai Style Braissed Pork Belly ($53). Again a lot of rice. The pork belly was quite good. Lots of braising sauce was added and it was packed with flavour. The belly literally melted in your mouth so you didn't even need to chew.Doubt we'd be back but the food was decent enough with good size portions. Service was extremely slow though. We waited quite a long time for our food to be served.
