Many OL or nearby workers will go for lunch or take away. They are famous for the pork chop, ox tongue rice and various kind of steamed rice. But they don‘t sell soup and vegetables. It is easy to access there, it is just 6-min walk from Exit A1 Sai Ying Pun MTR Station. There are some meter parking just in front of the restaurant. For wheelchair, there are a few steps in the front entrance but you can also sit outside with 2-3 tables out there. They do have restroom inside but it is a bit small and wet. Maybe there are many workers using it. The good thing is that, there is a nice and big public toilet just opposite the restaurant you can choose to use. Talking about the food quality, I personally like the Ox Tongue very much. They serve with the black pepper sauce and rice. The sauce is not too spicy nor too salty and the ox tongue, there are 3 big pieces. Each of them is so thick and tender. Delicious! You can choose to serve with other sauce too. About the pork chop, this is their signature dish. It’s meaty and tender, chopped when serve and it comes with the special soy sauce and ginger sauce. I also like it too. Their steamed rice is popular, they have steamed fish, minced pork etc… One guest there said we much try the beef rice noodle (肥牛米线). It‘s tasty and you will definitely come back again. Next time, we will definitely try. Talking to one of the owners, they are the 2nd generation owner of this restaurant. They have opened for over 50years in this area starting with 大牌档. They maintain the food standard all along. The first time I tried this restaurant was buying their lunch box. One is the chop pork and the other is the beef short ribs. I found them so delicious! So, I come back to dine in this time. I am so satisfied with this lunch selection. The price performance is excellent with less than $60 per person to have a dish of rice and a drink. I will come back!

中午放饭行到上黎太平山街见到两间茶记隔离果间排长龙同睇落好热就入晒黎新波记无汁不欢既我 嗌左黄金鸡髀肉燥饭🤩姐姐仲好精准咁话要等13分钟🤣又真系等13分钟就有黄金鸡髀肉燥饭肉燥有粟米粒 食落无咁邪恶同有𡁻口👍🏻黄金鸡髀炸皮唔会话好厚 松脆啱啱好👍🏻鸡髀肉质有啲干 唔算好juicy同事减紧肥 所以嗌左葱油鸡扒饭反而呢块鸡扒肉质冇咁干冇咁鞋捞埋葱油汁食几香口👍🏻返工放返嚟食都系$60有找🤩算系唔错嘅选择🫶🏻

今日陪老窦去东华医院睇医生，经过呢度食个早餐，但绝对可以用难食嚟形容，首先问咗店员有冇蕃茄牛肉汤通粉，店员话卖晒只有清汤，咁远行过嚟都唯有是但，上枱之后整体卖相都唔错，但一食落去所谓嘅清汤原来系福字面味精包再加美极（仲有福字面味精粉”微型干葱”系裹面），𠮶三、四片啡色嘅嘢已经食落去唔知乜嘢嚟，已经腌到又淋又冇味嘅东西，通粉就正正常常，再嚟食只蛋同埋肠仔，充满油益味，顶唔顺结果放哂落碗通粉度，叫做用啲味精清汤洗干净啲油益味，最后牛油多士….唉，又系有油益未，咬咗两啖都系顶唔顺决定放弃，杯奶茶算系最正常亦冇乜特别，由于见佢系小店，已经刻意低调比钱嘅时候先同个女店员讲啲嘢食有有好重油亿味，结果………..佢嘅目光只系望住个柜桶希望尽快找钱俾我尽快走，完全无视顾客嘅反映😑……记得一两年前中午来食肉操鸡扒饭加蛋都几好食，点解而家啲食物质素搞到咁…….大家都明白而家嘅经济环境经营困难，我唔想你哋执笠因为对你哋嘅午餐仲有期望，但请改善整体食物质素，呢个系我食过呢几年食过最差的$41 早餐！

每次去上环总会到太平山街新波记和老细打个招呼，喜欢小店格外亲切的一份人情味。今次来迟一步，蒸鱼饭卖光了，选择了咸蛋肉饼饭，亦保持一贯传统蒸饭水凖。招牌葱油猪扒饭也是必食之选，配埋老细的秘制柠啡，又是简单平实的大满足的一餐晏仔。

This joint is round the corner from the famous pork chop place that has two furry cats.Although not many people know about this joint, it has already been filmed by a few people.I was captivated here by the fried chicken leg because it looked good in this golden coating and it was not cut.When I got there, the staff were friendly but then everyone is generally friendly on the Sheungwan side.Ended up coming here quite a few times.On the first visit, had the fried chicken leg and chicken wings.The fried chicken leg was as good as expected because the coating was even and crunchy while the chicken was tender.The chicken wings were the best chicken wings ever because they were infused with Chinese wine and served hot.Most chicken wings which are marinated in wine are served cold but these wings were hot and springy.On the second visit, tried the bap which is basically an Irish bap.As there isn't really a name for it in Chinese, they just named it the "mut bau" as in the What bun!Ordered the pork chop bap and had it with the chicken wing meat which was much nicer.Will definitely come back again for the wings and as well as other items on the menu.
