As colleagues bought farewell cakes, I had the chance to try the cakes from this shop..They chose Haw Flakes and French Toast.The Haw Flakes was actually Hawthorn Souffle Cheesecake. It tried to recall the sweetness and sourness of hawthorn. However, the sweetness dominated the cake, and the dessert was not that memorable. The French Toast was actually Lemon & Rice Pudding Mousse Cake. The butter on the top was the MVP of the dessert. It was creamy and milky, complementing the soft mousse cake well. .Most of its pastries resembled Hong Kong's renowned local culinary, like lemon tea, pineapple bun, etc. So they looked delicate and interesting. However, they were really quite pricey.

路过呢间饼店，见到款式几特别，买左两个蛋糕试下。两款造型都好得意，充满住儿时回忆🤭系儿时嘅零食啊😬1）bear cookie(乐天熊仔饼款式）好幼滑嘅cream，榛子味好浓厚。喜欢榛子味嘅朋友可选👍🏻但成晒食个会有啲腻，整体系好食嘅。2）Mt. strawberry 呢款比较有惊喜，外层系脆嘅朱古力皮，用少少力度先整得开，食得有啲狼狈😂但内层系士多啤梨粒同蛋糕，口感几清新，唔会好腻或好甜，女士都轻松食得晒一个。

一向喜欢吃 croissant, 喜欢它酥脆香口的感觉。途经当文历饼店，见到它诱人的卖相，决定一试。选择了almond croissant and DKA(当文历的著名酥饼），并配上一杯cappuccino 。说实话，这个croissant 一切开，外面虽然松脆，但里面尽是椰丝，与一般西式的croissant 有异，口感也一般。整体来讲，量虽大，味道却一般只有椰丝的死甜，吃著吃著，我也曾怀疑自己是否正在吃鸡尾包⋯而DKA 并不松脆，咬下口感较淋，亦感觉oily,倒是蛮失望的。今天最满意的，大概就只有杯cappuccino 而己。

Chef “Dang Wen Li” (Dominique in Chinese) showcases his creative ideas on pastries that are exclusive to Hong Kong. He uses local inspirations and ingredients to present the classic collection of childhood memories.The cakes are really eye-catching. Not knowing which one to buy, I decided to grab a dozen for share. There were two new items just launched recently, and they immediately brings us back to our childhood.
