We went here thinking it would be nice to try something different. The place was empty because it was early and the place does not look as clean for being in causeway Bay. The food for Cantonese version of Indonesian food. Nothing special for the price. The server was not accommodating with me and my friend being vegetarian. Most importantly the people were so rude. 来了几次,每次都满意,但都没有给它来个好评,今天补回。来了一个午餐---印尼常餐,88元,有餐汤有饮品,感觉满足。首先,这餐厅的确是地道风味,当然包括这常餐,跟在印尼食的一样风味,不同的是卖相比印尼更好。当然吧,用印尼的卖相,香港人怎会满意。常餐中的牛肉辨度适中,够焾,好味辣蛋是我在印尼餐厅最爱的,不知用什么酱料,将平淡的蛋弄得如此惹味。印尼沙律,不保证人人都爱,但真正的印尼沙律便是这样。地点方便,地方尚算阔落,服务正常。值得去试试。 继续阅读

位于翡翠明珠广场的巴东印尼餐厅,我经过不少次数。看著食物冷冻展示柜内的东南亚糕点,甚是吸引。(我不清楚那是属于甚么国家的糕点,不随便说了。东南亚太广泛,应该没有错吧,哈!)然而,却只欣赏糕点,没有光顾。星期六(19/11)傍晚又再经过此地,终于要买来一试! 食物冷冻展示柜就在餐厅门口的右面。 很多款式的糕点。想吃每一款呢! 不只有甜的糕点,还有咸的,多是荤食。 我买了四款糕点。左起大树菠萝糕、粘米九层糕、斑兰榴梿木薯糕和榴梿猫山皇年糕。 以另一角度拍摄。 粘米九层糕,$8。 这个给爸爸吃的。 他不喜欢榴梿,也不喜欢大树菠萝。 只有这个款式合意。 我尝了一点,比其他糕点甜。 质感软糯不黏牙。 椰汁味道香浓。 大树菠萝糕,$8。 第一次吃以大树菠萝做的甜品。大树菠萝的味道并不明显。被椰汁味和椰丝的味道盖过了。这糕点的甜度很低,味道清甜不会腻。质感有点像香蕉糕,却是软而不黏口的。 斑兰榴梿木薯糕,$9。 有淡淡的榴梿味。 与大树菠萝糕的质感不同,因为有木薯粉。 会较软糯,但同样不黏口。 还有点像蛋糕的口感。 这糕点的甜度也低。 令人没有罪恶感。 榴梿猫山皇年糕,$13。 这个榴梿味很浓,果然是猫山皇!口感就是新年吃的年糕的质感。但不会太黏,很有嚼劲。味道比以上两款糕点甜。但没有新年年糕那么甜。应该是猫山皇始终会带点轻微的苦味的关系,稍稍减淡了甜味。 继续阅读

My officemates dared me to eat at a new restaurant everyday, for the rest of the year. Well, challenge accepted!--I ordered Nasi Goreng Ikan Asin (Fried rice with chicken and salted fish, $88) and Ice Cendol with Red Bean ($50). I quite enjoyed the Nasi Goreng. It's very tasty and not oily. However, there are a few bites where you can really taste the salted fish (I had to drink to flush it down). I didn't mind it much, but others might find it unpleasant. The drink is really good too, but I think it's overpriced. It tasted like a syrup we used in the Philippines for a rice cake. Really yummy. I'm not a big fan of beans, so I'm glad it didn't taste bean-y.The place is really nice. There are about 30 tables, some for 2 people, 4 people, and 6 people. Big for HK standards. I ate at 830 PM, and there were very few people (only 4 tables taken). I thought it was a bad sign; either it's really pricey, or the food is not good. But I'm happy with my first choice for the challenge.--Will I come back? -- I'm willing to try their other dishes, but not anytime soon. 继续阅读

今天约了朋友下午五点看最新的移动迷宫,但我两点多已经到了,太无聊的关系,所以在戏院附近挑了一间餐厅享受一下下午茶喔。其实进去这间餐厅是基于好奇心,虽然平常很多时都会在铜锣湾吃饭,但就是一直没有尝试过这间餐厅喔。下午茶时间几乎是空无一人,只有一台坐在另一边的角落。下午茶的价格以铜锣湾来说,并不是太贵,一碗拉面大约在六十以下,我今天点的是一个小吃,虾酱鸡翼配薯条($38),饮品选的是热奶茶。奶茶香滑而不腻,虽然没有地道茶记的好喝,但质素还算是比较不错的。主角来了!虾酱鸡翼没有预计过会那么的好吃!虾酱味道浓郁,但不会过咸,你只会尝到惹味的虾酱鲜。鸡翼内部肉质仍然保持嫩滑,虽然皮炸得很脆口。但是薯条就失色不少,首先炸得不够热,而且没有任何的调味料。 继续阅读
