During this epidemic, there is more time to cook at home. As the weather was hot, I decided to make some fried noodles. I used dried egg noodles bought from this shop. The quality of the dried egg noodles is good, natural with little food additives. It is convenient to store and cook. It is tastier than those bought in super markets. It is worth paying a bit more to support local economy and eat quality noodles.

有人说云吞面是难登大雅之堂,都不无道理,二三十元一餐,对有钱人来说小费也不止这数目,今天特意介绍这间「好到极面家」,进入店内,陈设富传统中国特式,观感相当不错,我叫了一碗大云吞面32元及一杯冻豆浆8元,等了片刻,云吞面送到,卖相是附合广式的做法,生面盖面而云吞在下层,面质是有点爽,但比起深仔记还有一段距离,云吞是细细粒粒的手抓式包法,感觉上虾的份量偏少,大部份是猪肉成份,枱上有淘大辣酱,放置酱油的器皿也相当别致,整体感觉是可以。

在摩利臣山游完水,路经这商场入口,见到有这面家的水牌,非常喜欢吃面的我想买些回家试试。上到八阵图似的一楼商场,找了十八秒便找到这舖,细小得像以前街边写信佬的档,墙上列著各种面饼的价钱,有虾子面,鸡蛋面,瑶柱面,鸭蛋面,菠菜面,甘笋面等,本想买斤虾子面,但家中仍有樽虾子未吃完,改买斤鸡蛋幼面,售价二十九元,比一般街市的粉面舖贵了很多,但想到在外面吃碗面也差不多价钱,便觉得到底都是好。一个晚上,晚餐吃得早,到十时许便肚饿,心思思想吃个面,打开盒子一看,一斤有十六个,即一两一个,拿一个放入滚水中打散,倒去水份,如盒上所写,不含碱水,无须过冷河,我加点盐巴、黑松露油和撒上虾子,实行自己做个捞面“江南Style”,吃一口,面质很爽,有嚼劲,面条幼细,无碱水味,加上我的虾子和黑松露油,真好吃。
