A very special and tasty meal there!!Butter chicken with cheese naam and garlic naam is absolutely perfect match!Fried fish is also very tasty! Every dish is very special!The shisha there is a must-try! Relatively cheap price but very very high quality!!

I had a fried eggplant appetiser and the Manchurian Chicken for the main course. Very reasonable prices for the taste and overall quality of the food. Top notch staff as well. They are very attentive. Nice interior with a great overall atmosphere.

我好钟意食印度咖喱，这基本上是我每一次要写食咖喱大餐时都会提及的一句说话。因为，我的确好钟意食印度咖喱。这一天，又同中环的朋友仔轻松地吃下午饭，由于是临时约，我们都没有什么目标，当我们在 Soho 行下行下，见到这一间名叫《Himalaya Restaurant》的餐厅，首先有价钱合理的 lunch。另外，我们想起了年青时一大班人在英国食咖喱的趣事，于是，我们就一于食一个印度咖喱的中午饭。 咖喱，好多人都说是分了南、北印度，巴基斯坦，孟加拉，斯里兰卡，尼泊尔，不丹等地，都各自有各至的派系。不过，在英国生活才首次接触咖喱的我，我只识分 Curry, Balti, Masala, Madras, Vindaloo, Rogan Josh, Korma 等等不同香料制作的咖喱汁，并没有细分他们是来自那一方。不大的餐厅就不说环境了，而当我要立即说食物时，就出现了几乎每一次去食咖喱都会遇见的 Poppadom。Poppadom，中文叫做胡椒脆饼，是一个香口的南亚小点，轻轻的胡椒味是最好的，点一点绿色的酱，更惹味。另配干果肉，对我来说是新食法，入口感觉几得意，之不过，我始终钟情于那个绿色的酱。 我觉得是迎合香港人口味才会有汤的，因为我在外国食咁多年咖喱，真的好少有机会接触到南亚式的汤水。Set lunch 配的是 Tomato Soup，可以说是一个加了浓浓香料的西式番茄忌廉汤。 套餐很丰富，有咖喱菜，有烤鸡，有饭同有 Naan Bread，可以一次性满足晒大部份的我至爱的印巴食品同配搭。因为，印度烤鸡是非常香口美味的，而且这儿的烤鸡并没有用香料或色素整到通红，感觉更加之好。主食咖喱方面，我点的是 Chicken Tikka Masala，朋友就点了 Lamb Madras。 Chicken Tikka Masala，马沙拉咖哩是最香口的一种咖喱。配鸡、配羊、配牛、配鱼及虾都非常之合适，很香口的咖哩，味道有少少甜，配饭，尤其是印度产的 basmati rice，更加之可口，当然，点包食更佳。 Lamb Madras，是一个比较浓厚味道的咖喱，其辣劲比较起来又出众了少少。但，香港版本始终都是少辣。配羊肉，不需要像 Masala 的甜，浓浓咖喱酱味更好，更能够突出牛/羊的味道，所以，好多时，食羊肉我都喜欢配 Madras。 又是一个满意同满足的咖喱日，香港很多南亚人士，有好多好好味，同好地道的咖喱店可以供大家选择，而《Himalaya Restaurant》，算是其中一间既好味又有名气的咖喱好店呀! 可以多来。

We went yesterday to this restaurant, we had no previous references. I order an Indian chicken curry and my wife a Nepalese prawn dish. We also order some tandoori roti and some basmati rice.We really love the taste, the curry really had flavour and the chicken was perfectly cooked. You can notice the freshness of the ingredients. All in all we paid 200 per person.

the first dish I order here is always veg Manchurian.. thanks to its previous owner who had recommend it.. and its still the same .. anyone who comes here with me to dine first time always gets shocked with taste no matter what !!! and they tell me they try this dish always !!they have nice appetizers.. though curries need to be bit more authentic.. overall very good taste !!
