外国朋友来香港工干,于是一行四人到湾仔喜栈晚饭 。装潢充满著传统中国建筑的原素,红灯笼高高挂及以原砖砌成的墙,古旧的传统风格令到外国朋友,深深感受到香港这个中西文化交汇保持著这个中国传统特色。刚巧遇著喜栈宣传活动只要惠顾满150蚊,就可以用一蚊的价钱加一碟例牌的贵妃鸡。今晚点了三𩠌一汤,再加一个招牌的烧鹅髀饭。 川芎白芷炖鱼头汤鱼汤鲜美,有很重的药材味而不油腻 。每人也有一碗而且很足料有鸡脚、鱼头,鱼头的胶质很重,单单是汤渣亦都很入味。 继续阅读

No matter how good your other meals are, Cantonese food is always a home coming for me because it's just really comforting. Cantonese food is all about "Wok Hei" and flavours and I think this restaurant has everything I was looking for. After a long day of work, I just want something quick and delicious because I am starving, thanks for my friend who is willing to have a impromptu dinner with me in Wan Chai. This my first time coming to this place and I have decided to come here because of its attractive interior design. There is a giant 3D dragon piece facing the front door. On the right, there is another giant artsy Chinese plate masterpiece. Just like any other Cantonese restaurant that serves BBQ roasts, there is a big window from the kitchen showcasing their roast of the day for you to pick from. I have also noticed that a lot of customers coming here just for their roasts to take-away. It's almost a crime not to have tea when having Chinese food so I have picked Longjing tea. I opened up the lid and found that they use tea bags instead of tea leaves but they are still very good with a pleasant taste and smooth texture. I must say that the tea flavour remained after the tea pot was refilled again. We have ordered a whole table full of food. Apart from their popular roast BBQ meat, we have also ordered a Cantonese made to order fried dish. BBQ crispy goose & crispy roast pork brisket $62 + change to roasted goose drumstick $35Starting from their roast meat which is also what came first. I have ordered their infamous goose and I have up the game by requesting the drumstick part (additional $35), and crispy roast pork. The rice has no cheeky light soy sauce which I preferred because the meat is already salty enough and we do not need to add extra soya sauce. Starting from the crispy roast pork because I don't want it to be soggy. They are not too fatty I liked how they chopping it into bite size pieces. Though their signature is goose, their crispy pork is surprisingly great with an extremely crispy skin. It complemented nicely with the traditional mustard sauce. Then ding ding ding ding ding!!! Here comes the crispy goose. The meat looks really moist and the skin is almost separating from the meat. The meat is very tender with a strong goose gamey taste. It's not common to find goose with crispy skin now but OMG their skin is also extremely crispy and I am not even exaggerating. The sweet plum sauce is very thick and sour taste is just right to cut through that fattiness from the fat and skin of the goose. I can see why they are so famous and people are willing to pay $128 for 2 kinds of combo. +$1 steamed chickenWith $150+ spending on their a la carte menu, you may enjoy a standard serving of steamed chicken for just $1! Who can resist with this deal? At first I thought it's gonna be a very small portion lousy chicken but in fact they are just as quality. I think there is a quarter of the chicken with even the drumstick! Once again, the meat is really succulent and you can see layers of beautiful meat under a good layer of yellow skin. The meat is still lean and full of collagen. You may literally see some gelatine substance on the surface of the meat. Absolutely tasty especially with that scallion sauce. Don't forget to dip your roast meat into the corresponding sauce because they are on point. I have got scallion sauce, mustard sauce, and sweet plum sauce. I also like to mix some scallion sauce into the rice for more flavour! Fried grouper fillet & eggplant in clay pot $92Lastly, since the roast meat is never too hot, so I was craving for some hot food in this cold weather. Clay pot food is definitely the best kind of food because the heat is going to maintained in the pot for a long time. There is a mix of deep fried grouper pieces covered in batter, some eggplants, mix of mushrooms, big garlic, and some fried tofu piece. The fish tasted fresh and the meat remained flaky after being deep fried. The sauce is coating the whole dish and it's not too overly salty but it's still go to have a bowl of steamed rice to go with it. It's good because you can taste the garlicky taste as well as the oyster sauce taste with the fishy taste from this delicate kind of fish. The eggplants have been sliced into long pieces and they are absorbing all the flavourful sauce at the bottom of the pot! More rice please!~~The tofu pieces aren't necessarily smooth. They are rather hard with a bit of a coarse texture. The sauce saved the taste of these grainy tofu though they are still good to eat on their own! I must say that their service is really quick and the dishes are served just all at the same time, taking the reputation from the efficiency of Hong Kong people. The place feels really clean and spacious. I personally would prefer this kind of neat restaurant than cha chann tan while they are costing almost the same price range. Thus, I think I would come back again for some quick meal because they can feed you fast!  继续阅读

老妈子在金钟下班一家人便到湾仔晚膳本来家常小菜谁知愈点愈多先来两盅汤点杏汁猪肺汤家母大爱我却受不了那杏仁味我的川芎白芷鱼头汤中药味浓既清甜又回甘是补身之选茄子斑腩豆腐煲香气满溢加入了咸鱼非常惹味以白饭佐食是最佳食法咕噜肉的肉排半肥瘦混合了菠萝甜酸中带点清新又是另一下饭之选排骨炒河很有镬气入口之际还是烫口的加一元可加配贵妃鸡例牌一份很难得鸡肉生熟程度刚好我就是特别怕蒸过熟的鸡肉值得一提是这里服务很好换碟加茶也做得足看来这儿会成为老妈子的新食堂了 继续阅读

经过上次伏了后,今天在湾仔吃午饭时要慎入,今天经过这店,店内的装修格调富中国色彩,与一般的茶记很不同,但是茶记价钱,又见这里的食评不错,就试试吧。 这个好像很吸引,就点这个吧! 我点了牛筋腩鱼腐汤饭,鱼汤鲜甜味道浓厚,鱼腐则软绵可口,牛筋腩味道浓郁,肉质新鲜嫩滑,估不到会有惊喜。 继续阅读

晚饭决定尝试一下这一家餐厅 点了烧鹅拼烧肉饭 还有酸辣米线 烧鹅饭送了粉葛老火汤 不油不腻 吃的出来用料不错 烧鹅也很惊喜 肉质鲜嫩皮脆 个人觉得可以挑战庸记 烧肉皮相当的脆 肉质甘甜 酸辣米线的鱼汤鲜美 应该还会再来! 继续阅读
