one night walked passed this restaurant. miss the 椰汁糕 we had in singapore, and we saw there was a promotion $10 for 3. i remember its sold $5 or 6 each in the past, so i bought 3.but they were a bit disppointing, tried:- 九层糕: texture very soft and good but the coconut flavour not strong enough- 绿豆椰汁糕: 2 balls, the fillings were like 冰皮月饼, not very good as the texture is a bit hard. my friend said its a bit salty too- 椰汁糕(with 椰丝inside): so-so, but actually i dont like 椰丝i used to buy some when i walked passed the store. but i was disappointed this time.查看更多

having just an hour's time for lunch before my tutorial class, my dad decided to have lunch at this indonesian restaurant which 'we haven't been to for a long time', he said. nt feeling especially picky and hungry, we said yes although my mum and i were not especially crazy over se asian food.my dad quickly ordered a gado-gado(indonesian style salad), padong beef(is it how u spell it?),an indonesian fried rice plus some snacks.i am not particularly fond of heavily spiced dishes and so didnt really enjoy the meal very much. the dressing of the gado-gado was a bit too oily for me. same for the pagong beef, but i kinda liked the taste of it. as for the fried rice, it was too spicy for me. :( but i like the snacks(deep-fried beef in mashed potato, sticky rice wrap, mysterious stick-like wrap) although their lukewarm temperature werent very appealing. :(id give it a 6 out of 10. :( indonesian food is just not my cup of tea.查看更多

星期六,母亲节前夕。今年嘅母亲节,除了以子女嘅身份替阿妈庆祝之外,还要以女婿嘅身份替外母庆祝。正日留番俾阿妈,前夕便与外母一家及太座嘅祖父到铜锣湾食印尼菜。笔者对印尼菜一点也不陌生,皆因笔者嘅阿妈系印尼华侨,故从小以食了不少印尼菜。印尼文化冇中国咁源远流长,所以菜系冇中国菜那样多元化。与其他热带地区一样,印尼菜以香辣为主。同时,印尼海岸线比较长,海产丰富,不过海鲜类都系以烧为主。此印尼餐厅印象中在此处营业已有一段日子,闲闲地都有二十年。内里嘅装修十年如一日,服务员都穿上印尼传统服饰「巴的」及「沙龙」,望落都几搅笑。他们皆能操粤语及印尼语,相信都系印尼华侨。一行六人,大家你一言我一语已经点了心水之选。酱烧鸡 – 印象中嘅酱烧鸡应以类似巴东牛肉嘅酱汁去肴制,但此店嘅酱烧鸡只用了普通酱汁。虽然颜色好似都肴得几入味,但入口不过而已,鸡肉亦不是很嫩滑,难怪系咁多款菜式之中去货最慢嘅一款 (味道2分);加多加多 – 其实系印尼沙津,以白菜、豆角、豆腐、青瓜、鸡蛋、虾片等,配以花生酱捞匀嚟食。虽然叫做沙津,其实印尼人当做系主菜咁食。好味嘅加多加多,其花生酱汁绝对系灵魂所在。此店嘅酱汁甜中带一点辣,系正宗味道。至于点解有甜味,当然系拜椰糖之效啦!在本地寥寥可数嘅纯印尼餐厅,呢度嘅加多加多可算是上乘之选 (味道5分):);巴东牛肉 – 这是笔者当晚心水之选,一来牛肉炆得十分入味,而且牛肉纤维已经半溶化了,一入口,不需一点儿劲就已经咀嚼得糜烂。而且,牛肉肥瘦适中,齿𣍰之间留有牛肉香味。当然,一碟出色嘅巴东牛肉,酱汁也是主角之一。此酱汁可能系迁就香港人嘅口味,只系微辣,代之而起嘅系椰丝嘅香味。椰香四溢,但一点都唔太滞胃。只系用酱汁配白饭已经系一绝 (味道5分):);咖哩杂菜 – 椰汁味比较浓烈嘅咖哩,除了一般蔬菜如豆角、蕃茄、薯仔外,还有粉丝,有如一锅咖哩杂菜煲。不辣嘅咖哩,并不是笔者嘅那杯茶,对笔者而言味道一般而已 (味道3分);咖哩羊肉 – 此咖哩既有椰香味,又有适度嘅辣味,接近正宗印尼咖哩嘅味道。羊肉炆得十分腍,皮虽比较薄,但肉质鲜嫩滑溜,而且有羊膻味,所以笔者吃了一件又一件。系另一个推介菜式(味道5分):);印尼炒贵刁 – 与一般所见嘅炒贵刁无异,贵刁炒得也算干身有镬气,河粉也有咬口(味道3分)。除上述食品之外,一伙人还试食了蜈款印尼特式甜品,包括三色糕、红豆糕、各类椰汁糕等。众人皆认为除了三色糕甜味刚好之外,其他甜品椰味过重,吃后增加胃部负担。三色糕甜味刚好之外,还有淡淡嘅香兰叶嘅香味。令笔者奇怪嘅系,同样系以香兰叶为材料,点解珍多冰中嘅绿色物体质地似啫喱多过似用香兰叶汁(可能多好多功夫嘅缘故)。埋单共九百六十蚊,平均每人一百六十蚊,见外母及太座嘅爷爷食得开心,大家有讲有笑,老土讲一句「此刻无价」:)。查看更多

今晚试了以下菜:1/ 虾酱波菜2/ 咖哩鸡3/ 红豆珍多冰4/ 青柠梳打虾酱波菜 - 唔错, 虾酱香味不劲, 但入算不错. 因不喜欢虾酱香味太劲, 会搅到成间铺都系.咖哩鸡 - 味很好, not spicy, 但不喜欢雪鸡红豆珍多冰 - 普通青柠梳打 - 没有青柠, 真已给按了***相片是否很奇怪...因为全部吃完才记得影相! 哈!查看更多
