48元「無料」火炙鰻魚飯,救命!!

雖然話$48元午餐有個麵豉湯同火炙鰻魚飯,但個飯只得6片薄切(打邊爐的鯇魚片都大片過佢厚過佢)。如果用碗內全部鰻魚去做壽司(爭鲜的大小),最多只可以做到3件!附近壽司店的長鰻魚壽司($13),一件的鰻魚份量起碼做到3碗這樣的火炙鰻魚飯!如果個6 片火炙鰻薄切又香又多汁好好食的話,都冇咁嬲(嬲到唔記得影相)!但結果成餐好似只係食咗一碗鰻魚汁撈飯!食到我一肚火!對不起!雖然其他晚餐的食評好似講到好好咁,但這個「無料火炙鰻魚飯」真的令我好失望,不會再去試晚餐!希望店主可以將心比己,盡快改善。…Read More

:)同朋友慶祝生日,因為很久沒有食韓國菜啦,所以上OpenRice睇下有乜食店。因為見食家話這間店『又平靚正,又方便就腳,又唔會比人趕結賬,又坐得舒服!』,結果去試下啦!點知。。。我地訂咗四人枱,但有三人到先。順理成章坐底先,先點兩個菜,諗住等埋個朋友嚟先再叫多D嘢。前菜先嚟,份量少少,其中薯仔同炸翠瓜每碟只得兩件。但諗住人齊後可以添多少少,所以無出聲。點知後來朋友到咗,加咗個菜。想問個韓國姐姐加番少少前菜,佢一口話無得添。但後來見到隔離枱三個人,D薯仔同翠瓜比我地多一倍,忍唔住叫另外一個SENIOR的侍應問下。結果答案係,因為見我地點咗兩個菜先,所以俾少D!佢話唔知我地加咗菜,如果唔係,會再加多少少俾我地!最後佢都好識做,即刻加番三個前菜俾我。總之,各位食家記住啦!如果唔係一開始就點夠菜(少過人數),就可能會俾少D前菜你!講番D食物同環境。我地四個人點了四個菜:牛排骨($130)、鹿肉($130)、牛脷($100)和韓式炸醬麵(90)。:)食物方面質素幾好,但量就少D。餐廳環境OK,沒有俾人趕結賬,但枱底沒有空間放腳,很不舒服。結賬共$495,OK啦!…Read More

今日[已是八月七日的事]同老友慶祝生日,朋友介紹去貴德宮食素。訂了七點枱,結果大家八點才去到,幸好枱仍然留住俾我地!這間食店以新派素食為號召,每次菜式已定,但時間日子不同會有改變!第一次感受到不用點菜的享受,既不用動腦筋又有神秘感,哈!同朋友傾咗一陣,終於有菜上啦!即刻研究吓係乜先[菜名係食完之後問老板娘取的]!1)糯米燒賣 - 素菜包  本來以為素菜一定係好油同無乜味道,但D燒賣同菜包都幾好!2)海珊瑚千式拼盤  整體外觀顏色都好討好,雖然外面的皮蛋番茄、素肉片同素壽司味道只是一般,但中間的柚子肉伴粉皮又幾好味,好閞胃!3)富貴黃金磚  一上就俾我地食剩一件,連相都差D唔記得影。炸物果然搶手。4)芝士焗雜菌批  餡料味道好香滑,如果菌味濃一點會更好。5)椰香雜菜咖哩  咖哩係大眾化口味,但與他們所選的素料一起煮,伴飯吃一流。6)鮮果炒日本南瓜  味道係水果味甜酸骨(咕嚕肉)伴炒炸過的南瓜,當然無肉啦!酸酸的南瓜幾開胃。7)照燒釀茄子  茄子中間「釀」了一些好似豆腐造的餡料再煎。茄子的口感一流。8)白玉千翠環  翠瓜中間「釀」了雜菌,蒸熟再淋上汁。味道都幾清甜。9)香燒日本芽菜  其實上面落了一些好似肉鬆的東西(當然唔係肉啦)幾得意,但唔係太特別!10)荷香冬容百寶湯(沒有圖)  冬瓜湯是也!沒有肉的湯原本可以噤清甜,又唔似係味精,到底加了乜呢?11)十穀飯 - 法國包  到這裡有點奇怪,又中又西,FUSION都唔洗乜都有掛!12)香芋糯米糍 - 綠豆意仁糖水  兩款甜品雖然唔係好特別,但我鍾意佢地味道唔係太甜,以香味為主。:)整體而言,每一道菜都係用料健康,味道就因人而異了。如果相對傳統素菜來說,沒有油膩的感覺,買相新鮮,份量十足。雖然出菜的次序唔係好有條理,沒有慮考到菜式之間的配合和平衡,但誠意十足。好高興認識了這間餐廳。希望佢地繼續努力,多點嘗試不同的菜式。…Read More

只有烏冬OK的烏冬拉麵店

最近因為鑽研手打烏冬,所以食多咗烏冬。今次去Sogo下面的「北海Hokkai」試下啦!我同女朋友叫咗「吉列雞扒烏冬套餐配餃子」,「吉列魚柳烏冬套餐配雞串」和一杯飲品。首先講下D烏冬先,兩碗烏冬可能煮的時間不同,所以口感不一樣。一碗Q口D,一碗比較柔軟。但其實質素都十分好!不過如果與「甘味讚岐手打烏冬」相比,我還是會選「甘味讚岐手打烏冬」。:(現在講下D配菜,吉列雞扒只有少許肉汁,但味道口感和外觀都OK。吉列魚柳就非常差,裡面的魚非常薄,肉質粗糙,味淡如水,差D仲以為係用咗煲完湯的柴魚風乾後再炸出來。我請侍應幫我換過一碟,佢地服務都OK,換過一碟俾我。但結果比原本的只是魚肉厚了一點(見圖),味道如一,仍然淡然無味,根本食唔到有魚係裡面。最後只吃了兩口就放棄了。另外跟餐的餃子都算好食,但雞串就味道普通而且凍冰冰。總結一句,食湯烏冬會再嚟食,但其他食物就唔好有任何期望啦!…Read More

果然名副其實,以讚岐為招牌的烏冬實在非常好食。烏冬的粗幼適中,又滑又彈牙(Q口)。:)我和女朋友各點了一款烏冬(汁燒牛肋骨手打烏冬和雜錦手打烏冬),再加了一個三文魚壽司和凍柚子蜜。今次我要推介大家試試雜錦手打烏冬。裡頭有一隻炸蝦天婦羅、日式叉燒兩件、魚肉一塊、半隻蛋、獅子狗魚蛋一截、仿蟹柳一截和其他蔬菜。因為有這麼多的食物浸於湯中,所以湯會比較濃。至於汁燒牛肋骨手打烏冬的湯會比較清,因為牛肋骨會分開碟上。不過牛肋骨就有燒焦的機會(所以我都有叫侍應換過一次。)今次共$125/2人,以質素及量而言,實在係貨真價實。…Read More

今個晚餐想清淡一點,所以試吓「小魚」啦!兩個人食,諗住叫一碗米線加兩個餸和一個甜品都應該夠啦啦!點知個米線(魚腐魚湯米線)仲細過其他食店的下午茶,我諗加多點米線唔會影响成本掛!再看看兩個餸(肉鬆豆腐,紅油抄水餃),真係細碟到暈!一共食咗$125,下次寧願去美心快餐,同樣價錢,食材質數一定好過佢,又食得飽D。其實貴同細碟都唔係唔可以,但碟餸的Presentation就應該做好D。:(我真係唔明點解香港平民化的食店就唔可以花多少少心思去做好D。我自己就好希望見到香港人的食店有日本人對飲食的認真和專業就好啦!…Read More

日本燒餅之一 : 廣島燒

其實今餐唔係食得好滿足!主要原因係這裡的廣島燒同心目中期望的有一點的出入:(。主要係口感的問題!我覺得燒餅內的層次應該係分明一點,比較結實和有份量的感覺。但這裡的廣島燒內的層次比較鬆散。就好像用筷子分開燒餅後(因為他們沒有切好一份份的原故),一次都未能從底到面夾著來吃。因為太散,結果只好當『蛋皮包雜碎』來吃。其次係汁醬太多太咸,搶走咗燒餅裏面的鮮味。(不過會有人鍾意的。)第一次認識日本燒餅是從漫畫書『火頭智多星』開始。直至今餐後才下決心上網和上YouTube查吓究竟廣島燒係唔係真係咁整。結果發現原本日本燒餅(Okonomiyaki)起碼分兩種:廣島燒(Hiroshima style)和大阪燒(Osaka style)。簡單來說,大阪燒是將高麗菜麵糊先在小碗中攪拌均勻,再鋪到煎板上煎熟;而廣島燒卻是一層層地鋪上去煎。但有些人在做廣島燒中途會用平鏟或平的蓋壓一下燒餅,讓空氣從中走出來,所以會結實一點。我唸噉會有口感多D!…Read More

其實很久以前就想介紹這間餐廳給朋友了,不過有點擔心別人未必會懂得欣賞這間餐廳的獨特之處。可能香港人喜歡用會廣東人的口味去比較其他菜式,也因為香港人很少食越南餐,所以對正宗的越南口味不大清楚。本人在北美住了十年,有幸試到很多正宗的越南餐廳,都是從越南來的移民開的。但從北美回流後,暫時就只有在越棧的越南湯河中,尋回那份越南風味(雖然比較咸)。在這裡介紹他們的下午茶餐,越南湯河是必然之選,加上即磨咖啡都只是$24,記住要試呀!其實這間餐廳對做食物來說,算是有誠意的。地方一向很乾淨,可惜為著遷就香港人的口味,難免在味道上有點修改。另一方面侍應雖然不算是服務周到,但不過于不失啦。…Read More

其實光顧御品軒已是10月尾的事。內部裝修得都幾好,只有十張枱左右,感覺都幾舒適。唯獨本人剛好坐在一張好像樹幹的凳上,好像不太穩固。當日好像剛剛開張不久,樓面仲係一遍混亂,餐牌上推介的菜都一律欠奉。結果只點了一些大排檔都有得食的食物:-干炒牛河 - 不太油膩,幾好油菜(芥蘭) - 將比較老的外皮除去,有些心思清湯崩沙腩 - 不算好,比較油膩白灼黑柏葉 - 柏葉本人淡口及過火,咬唔開水牛乳雙皮奶 - 味道一般啦(如果同番禺沙灣的雙皮奶比,仲未到家!)雖然今餐味道平平,但勝在價錢實惠,結賬只係$165(2人)。…Read More
