日式串燒一向是我的最愛,朋友推介的BIRDIE位於中環石板街附近的新building,有多間新食肆進駐。Birdie有別於傳統串燒店、居酒屋,走新派chic路線, fusion格局,開放式廚房放置一具坊間少有的備長炭明火爐,特別有風味😬。串燒的選擇主要是雞、雞內臟及豚肉,牛肉只有兩款,隨意挑選了自己喜愛的食物,全部食材新鮮,可能是炭火燒烤的關係,味道高質素,feel到廚師用心製作。前菜🥗春菊及水菜沙律 - 蔬菜新鮮,最適合作為開胃前菜主菜🍢免治雞肉 - 外層醬汁野味,令雞肉棒更JUICY🍢雞翼 - 一串有1.5隻雞翼,燒雞翼最重要是外皮金黃色,燒得香脆,這裏當然做到,絕對是慢工出細貨🍢雞腿 - 原本以為只是普通雞肉,實物令人喜出望外,雞皮脆身香口,雞腿肉嫩滑有肉汁🍢雞軟骨 - 水準之作🍢雞皮 - 佐酒之選🍢雞肝 - 口感綿滑,沾上醬汁,與一般串燒店做法不同,值得一試🍢和牛崩沙腩 - 真心推介😍,醬汁香濃卻有蓋過和牛的鮮味,加上wasabi及洋蔥令味道再提升,車厘茄中和了和牛的油膩感,肉質嫩滑多汁,一定要再encore👍🏻👍🏻🍢豚五花腩 - 紫蘇葉+豚肉,配搭新鮮🍢牛油粟米 - 另一推介,粟米燒到粒粒金黃色帶焦香,令人回味🍢大黑占地菇、秋葵 - 肉類以外的選擇🍢炸豆腐 - 外層非常脆口,有點像臭豆腐的質感,淋上特製漿汁,好味🍢燒飯團 - 外層米粒乾身脆口,喜愛紫蘇葉的獨有香氣,飯團即使沒有饀料也不覺單調唯一美中不足是用餐時間只有2小時,而串燒製作時間較長,晚餐時段較急趕。…Read More

超好味的沙嗲牛肉西多士

之前只知道九龍城市政大樓的樂園出名炸豬扒,原來真正名物是沙嗲牛肉。當然街市熟食檔格局,對環境不會有要求但地方尚算企理。其實樂園的選擇不多,專程來到一試,就要揀最有特色、坊間少有的推介–沙嗲牛肉西多士和檸檬紅茶菠蘿冰。🥢西多士賣相相當吸引,外層金黃色,火喉剛剛好,上面淋上煉奶正合我心意😬,夾心係馳名沙嗲牛肉,咸甜融會在一起竟然出奇地夾,煉奶中和了沙嗲的咸味,沙嗲牛肉又帶出更多味道層次,有別一般西多士的死甜。確實好味,傳統港式香濃風味,牛肉略嫌碎 (叫沙嗲碎牛較貼切😜),但不減野味,切開西多士即流出沙嗲汁,麵包又不會過份濕潤,第一口只覺得很JUICY,熱呼呼的忍不住一口一口地吃😋😋,停不下來。🥢檸檬紅茶菠蘿冰即是凍檸茶加罐頭菠蘿,沒甚特別,只是茶餐廳較少有,建議可試試他們的奶茶紅豆冰。同行朋友點了雪菜肉絲米加沙嗲汁 (免費),都大讚沙嗲汁有水準👍🏻。下次我要試肉鬆西多士,再追加沙嗲牛肉麵,十分期待✨✨!…Read More

與家人聚餐,中菜必然是首選。多次到尖沙咀HYATT凱悅軒享用晚餐,食物質素都保持水準。首先點了幾款前菜小食:🥢雜菌素菜腐皮卷水準之作😋!外層炸得超香脆,內層腐皮濕潤、餡料充足,冬菇、蘿蔔絲填得滿滿。🥢椒鹽茄子外型似椒鹽豆腐,同樣炸得酥脆香口。🥢麻辣口水雞辣汁過於濃稠,雞肉”鞋”口,味道只是一般。🥢陳醋海蜇頭味道偏淡,陳醋份量不夠。吃完開謂前菜肚子仍是空空的,幸好當晚客人較少,其他餸菜上菜也很有效率。🥢山椒汁野菌炒牛肋骨肉肉質軟熟,山椒汁十分野味,卻不會搶去牛肉的鮮味,令雜菌更香口👍🏻。🥢果仁黑醋豬柳炸漿薄身酥脆,豬柳軟腍,黑醋汁酸甜度適中,開胃之餘又減低油炸的油膩感,不愧是餐廳精選推介之一👍🏻。早已預訂的兩款招牌菜式終於登場😍😍!🥢北京片皮鴨填鴨皮薄爽脆,每口都像吃薯片,最喜歡挑淨鴨皮 (走肉) 夾薄餅、青瓜吃。🥢脆皮茶香雞餐廳另一精選菜式,有別於一般脆皮雞,除了皮脆肉嫩外還多了淡淡的茶香煙薰味,味道更有層次😋,其實脆皮雞已經很入味,廚師特別以將檸檬汁代替傳統的喼汁,以清新的香味中和油膩感,更可以增加食慾。🥢鴨崧生菜包北京片皮鴨是二食,於是將片皮鴨剩下的鴨肉、沙葛、炸米炒成鴨菘伴以生菜一起吃,不過已經很飽吃不下了!🥢脆米蟹肉紅菜頭飯其特色是部份飯粒沾上紅菜頭製成紅色米粒,飯也炒得乾身,但味道卻很淡,甚至比一般炒飯更普通、失色。…Read More

首次踏足西九文化區,無敵海濱長廊,環境的確優美宜人。所選餐廳正好座落文化區中央,順帶欣賞香港海景。Pano應該是西九文化區中最高級的法國餐廳,其他海傍餐廳都是較casual或輕食為主。當天天朗氣清,又臨近聖誕,即使疫情下大家都想出外走走,閒日餐廳亦近乎爆滿,建議預早訂位。經理特別推介套餐,可以一氣試到餐廳的不同菜式。(因限聚令措施,餐廳下午6時關店)**頭盤**選了Oyster Tartar及餐湯,生蠔切碎伴以檸檬汁(Lemon Foam)、碎生果、三文魚魚籽,配搭新穎清新,生蠔亦很新鮮,最適合伴以香檳,帶出生蠔的觧味。是日餐湯是蟹肉忌廉湯,熱騰騰 加上足料蟹肉,一口氣便喝光。**主菜**Slow Cooked French Chicken Legs Roll法式雞卷,聞說這道菜好評如潮,事實也不錯。雞卷以雞皮包裹,外皮香脆,內裏用上雞脾肉,加了 菇菌,細嫩多汁。**甜品**每日只有一款選擇,當天是拿破倫,可惜份量迷你,味道不過不失。總括而言,食物水準不俗,環境精緻,印象最深刻是經理態度誠墾,真誠推介菜式,不hard sell。喜歡陽光的朋友建議預訂outdoortable,景色開揚配合涼風,感受另一番dining experience。  …Read More

朋友極力推介,強調雖然主打手工啤的酒吧 (也算是餐廰吧?!),但食物高質、有heart。路經中環,突然想起朋友曾經力推,便到SOHO區一試。6pm入座客人不多,酒吧格局別具一格,以懷舊涼茶舖作設計,很適合鍾愛舊香港風情的鬼佬,但似乎更吸引自己人。「鬼佬涼茶」霓紅燈、舊式公雞碗碟及紅筷子及白色瓷磚吧枱,這特色酒吧置身中環確是有趣。Menu有多款手工啤,只要Like「何蘭正」 社交平台即有買一送一優惠,店員熱心地介紹每款啤酒的特色。今次試了4款:🍺Christmas Ale偏啖,適合女士🍺Si L Dan偏Dry、苦澀🍺獅子山下及桂花啤分別不大,都帶有果香其實一心要品嚐美食,餐牌選擇不多,但看得出每道菜式都很用心。📌炸雞、啤酒是最佳配搭,先來一客黃金脆炸雞。賣相普通,但咬一口熱呼呼炸雞,再呷一口冰凍手工啤,這個選擇絕對正確!炸雞味道普通,然而這道小食精粹是有別於一般餐廳的自家調製酸辣汁,為炸雞加分。主菜是中西交合的Fusion菜,有意思👍🏻!📌排名榜首的慢煮伊比利亞叉燒飯,叉燒非常出色,外表焦香,肉質軟腍Juicy,肥肉比例剛好不膩,溫泉蛋與豬油飯拌勻一起吃。但飯粒醬汁過剩有點濕淋淋,大打折扣,如果減少汁的份量,米粒乾身煙韌更好。📌不想吃太多肉類,第二道主菜點了白胡椒白味噌煮蜆,餐牌上的紐西蘭鑽石蜆缺貨,換上花甲王有些失望,但蜆是my favorite儘管一試。白胡椒香味非常突出,像胡椒豬肚湯微辣暖胃。湯汁濃稠,應該是加了味噌的緣故,味道更有層次。未吃花甲已急不及待喝了幾口,粉絲完全吸收了當中精華,加上腐竹,濃淡得宜,最後湯汁差不多被喝光👍🏻。花甲也鮮甜肥美,相信換上鑽石蜆會更出色。…Read More

聽聞元朗有馳名乳鴿,專程一試。小店一點也不起眼,之前曾經路過也不為意。店內把乳鴿一隻隻掛起以作風乾,好讓炸起來特別乾身脆口。小店只做外賣,餐牌亦只有幾個選擇:乳鴿、雞粥、炒麵。因為當晚餐怕不夠飽,於是全部叫了( 2人份量:2隻乳鴿、一碗雞粥、一盒炒麵),順便可以試齊小店菜式。乳鴿、雞粥即叫即做,等候時間大概10分鐘。雖然外賣隔了半小後才吃,但絕不影响食物味道及質素。炸乳鴿色澤金黃,只看外表已知外皮爽脆。一試之下,火喉剛剛好,果然皮脆內嫩,表皮夠乾身香口,而內裡充滿肉汁好JUICY,不用加淮鹽已夠入味。雞粥同樣出色,口感綿滑,隔了一段時間也不會米水分離,雞件應該是新鮮雞,肉質鮮嫩,喜歡粥內加了腐竹,增加米香之餘還有薑蔥同雞油相伴。炒麵份量夠大堆頭,不過不失,夠乾身不會油淋淋,伴雞粥一起吃最好不過。如果只有乳鴿和雞粥,總覺得不夠充實。小店只賣幾款食物而且又有口碑,證明專心打造,夠用心,要支持!…Read More

已經是第二次到訪,之前初試週末Brunch,性價比高,今次再試晚餐,亦有驚喜!現場洋溢著日式居酒屋的熱鬧氣氛,8pm前 Happy Hour時段指定飲品買一送一,以日本清酒為主。本想等齊朋友才點菜,到Order時有兩款店員推介的Signature Dish已SOLD OUT,有點失望,下次要盡快落單。食物很快便端上,無論賣相及味道都同樣吸引。烤牛肋骨肉味香濃,切薄片,生熟度適中,不會血淋淋。店員推介蟹味噌甲羅燒,蟹羔味道鮮甜,另Order一份Toast伴食,減少膩的感覺,建議襯熱食。燒鷄翼皮脆肉嫩,夠Juicy!烤柚子胡椒豬鞍比較乾身,略嫌靭且味道單調。燒明太子及厚切牛舌不俗,佐酒一流。自家制吉列牛肉薯餅非常出色,金黃脆口卻不油膩,炸得剛剛好,一般只有薯蓉,但這裡可以嚐到牛肉粒!最後以燒三文魚籽/明太子飯團作結,同樣美味,充滿飯焦香。同場加送火炙魚(忘記什麼魚),略嫌少許腥。整體食物水準高,食材新鮮,以中環地段來說,價錢也合理。可以再Encore!…Read More

裝潢別綴 服務質素有待改善

疫情下未能外遊,於閒日相約BFF一起High Tea也是賞心樂事!特別選址中環Murray Hotel的Popinjays,以為人較少,誰知餐廳坐滿休閒族,FULL HOUSE! High Tea時段3:30PM - 5:15PM,早到的客人都不能入座。餐廳環境及裝潢別綴 ,走Contemporary格調,優雅舒適,景觀開揚,可欣賞日落景致。Tea Set擺放有別於傳統High Tea層架,甜點 (3件) 和鹹點 (3件) 均擺放在顏色碟上,正好襯托枱上色彩繽粉的餐具,Pastry (3件) 則最後才送上。食物質素平均,視乎個人喜好。我和兩位朋友認為鹹點較出色,當中以龍蝦卷最為突出,鮮味的龍蝦肉及其他配料稍作調味,我的最愛;鵝肝Toast不是我杯茶,但友人說不俗;另一款貌似金莎的甜點,味道卻比金莎更甜,有點吃不消,建議最後才吃。Pastry方面,Butter Shortb日read看似平凡,但其淡淡的牛油味濃淡得宜,香脆可口;High tea怎少得Scone,這兒卻是Croiscones,即是Croissant + Scone的混合版,有Vanill及Chocolate Chips兩款口味,配Strawberry Jam或牛油,但我還是較喜愛傳統英式Scone。中場加設小驚喜,客人可於鳥籠裡抽出朱古力蛋,像幸運曲奇,用小鎚敲破,內有字句或餐廳優惠,可惜我們的運氣只得到字條一張。總括而言,環境簇新潔淨,型格舒適,最得打卡一族歡心,但當日(星期五)Full House,相對較嘈雜。食物質素平均,沒有太大驚喜,坦白說裝潢擺設比食物更吸引。最後要重點批評服務水準絕對稱不上五星級酒店。由酒店大堂到餐廳,員工態度輕佻,缺乏應有的待客之道,連一間普通餐廳都不如。若酒店再不檢討,只會招徠更多投訴。…Read More
