誰也沒想到在大埔舊墟唐樓群中,竟然找到一間SOHO區格局的西餐廳餐廳合共兩層,裝潢、餐具、擺設走歐洲復古風格,上層更放有火爐擺設更令人彷如置身歐洲餐廳般。但是,經過傳媒或大眾多年來的穿鑿附會,隱世餐廳的質素很容易被看高一線,造成隱世就是有質素保証的錯覺。羽衣甘藍雞胸沙律 Chicken Breast Light Kale Salad(5/10)羽衣金藍沒有鮮甜菜味,不過不失;反倒那件雞胸卻帶著濃濃的雪藏味,以開胃為前提的話,這道前菜是失水準。Soup of the Day 羅宋湯(7/10)是日餐湯是羅宋湯,酸甜得宜,令人開胃,如溫度熱一點更好。香煎羊西冷配香草紅酒汁 Lamb Steak.Gravy.Mash Potato $128(7/10)我們點的是7成熟,但呈上來的滲著少少血水,看起來像5成(如真的抱著享受Fine-dining體駭的前設下前來,這是十分扣分位)幸好的是,這道菜的味道成功收復失地。《Dionysus》以慢煮方法烹調,令羊扒保留肉汁及鮮嫩肉質,肉質結實,脂肪比例剛剛好,香而不羶,外層煎得恰到好處的金黃(如煎至脆邊更好),以$128這個價錢來說是超值之選。西班牙海鮮飯 Seafood Paella $268(6.5/10)海鮮飯口感恰到好處,飯粒軟綿適中,可吃得出大廚控制火喉得宜。可惜,就是敗在採用不夠新鮮的海鮮湯頭來煮飯,令整個西班牙海鮮飯分數大減。以$268這個價錢來說,令人失望。Dessert of the Day - Chocolate Cake (7/10)是日甜品是朱古力小蛋糕,口感蠻幼滑,散發著微微朱古力香氣。…Read More

昨日經過荃灣廣場,難得這間人氣熱店「圍威喂」在繁忙時間不用等位就能入座,趁機會一試。「圍威喂」店如其名,裝潢色彩分明帶點玩味,走的是年輕新派泰菜/ 星馬菜路線。新派還新派,食物質素能否以新派又青出於藍的廚藝,烹調出經典老菜式?先解說一下肉骨茶這門經典菜式肉骨茶是由多種藥材煲成的湯以當歸、黨蔘、桂皮、川芎等藥材為主配料主要分兩派,新加坡的胡椒味較重,而馬來西亞的即較重藥材味黑醬油被視為肉骨茶的靈魂,由油脂、肉骨與中藥熬燉萃取而成苦中帶甘、甘中有鹹,藥香與肉香交互出豐盛口感「圍威喂」的肉骨茶藥材味較濃,相信是走馬來西亞路線(倒不如說完全沒有新加坡的胡椒味)馬拉肉骨茶配白飯  $75  (6.5/10)「圍威喂」的肉骨茶呈透亮色澤,帶微微的藥材味若以10分為濃郁標準,大概有6分,是味道中上的湯頭可惜肉骨茶的另一位靈魂- 肉骨,口感乾巴巴沒有油脂的肉骨,本身已不能為黑醬油注入油香更不用說肉骨能與黑醬油味道相互交織?你或許認為,區區索價只是$75的肉骨茶,有需要那麼高要求嗎?只要搜尋一下,就知道肉骨茶實屬大馬庶民級別的食物而大刺刺的掛著「新派主意」的餐廳想擴大餐飲版圖的同時,又不會成為被時代淘汰的「老派」那必需要在煮藝上花更多心思吧===============味道:6/10環境:7/10性價比:5/10…Read More
