We came here due to the recommendation as the chef has been well known in TV show, but in fact we found the quality was not that high as expected. Most people were in family-type or at middle-to-old aged group of eaters.We managed to book a table that morning and were placed in quite alright table inside the restaurant, :) or else, the tables near the entrance were more packed.The service was okay but somehow we concluded that Cantonese cuisine is really difficult to have good quality. The price shall be lower as it is located quite remote from the MTR station, not near the accessible area. It is a small decent modern chinese restaurant located in The ONE L4. The cuisine is beijing / shanghai ones with small portions only, the price is relatively expensive as compared to the size. There are quite a variety of dishes to be chosen from the menu with good pics shown. The inside deco pictures are modern chinese which worth taking photos.  The tables are close to each other as the restaurant is small. Luckily, other people there are not noisy.The dishes are quick to be served on tables and the service is okay.One thing which we dislike is every customer MUST order one drink - tea ($12@) e.g. 普洱/ 菊花/ 茉莉花, it can be 無限添飲, while other drinks ($18 for 1 or $32 for 2) e.g. 薏米水 / 栖子茶 / 汽水are only served once. :( Overall, the only comment is 以這個價錢 份量真的太少了…Read More

A new hot pot place which is located in a busy street in Mong Kok. The inside is decorated like a wet market and 60-70's Hong Kong. This is the gimmick but somehow its names shall be more related to wet market and old Hong Kong.The wet market is to sell seafood including prawns, oysters, abalones, clams, eel, fish etc. while the meat, vegetables, and others are to be ordered by ticking your choices in their papers. The seafood shall be provided with more varieties and the respective price shall also be better put and written.Regarding the price, it is relatively expensive in view of its existing quality.In general, the service is acceptable while the food quality can be better to sustain its business. The service was very very good with fast response and follow up services. All the staff were helpful and efficient. The environment was also spacious with 3/F whole floor and so the tables in between were acceptably spacious. The basic price was $198, plus $10 more during Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. We also added $50 per head to have more better quality of food including shrimps, iced abalones, scallops, mussels etc. It would be better if discount price can be offered to elderly people, they offered discount price for children only.Nowadays, more and more Japanese buffet restaurants have been set up, the quality in fact varies a lot, the most important is really put on the sashimi. For example, the oyster pot, we had only 4 pcs of oysters (1 was large and the other 3 were of average size) which cost us $200. Mum said she preferred Japanese buffet as Japanese buffet also cost around $138 as she had 長者優惠。ServiceBooked a table for 4 at 7:00 pm until 9:30 pm, no need to wait as reservation was made. When we arrived, many people were waiting outside, shall be walk-in customers. When we left at 9:30 pm, many people were waiting outside, shall be the 9:00 pm round then.  This restaurant seems having popular reputation. When seated, waiters quickly put the 調味料 for us to choose, they will then take them away. The service was generally okay except the man who seemed to be the captain.Food OrderFood is ordered through marking the choices, it is important to state the number of people as they will prepare sufficient amount of food according to the number of people in the table. Soup has 2 different types, some are free as buffet cost inclusive, while some need extra charge. We chose 蔔白牛腩 soup, but not very good, not much taste on the ingredients. DrinksSoft drinks and 冬瓜薏米水 (quite rare in restaurants) are totally free, and the taste of 冬瓜薏米水 tastes okay, if more 薏米 can be better. Food (forgot to take pics as too hungry to start eating)Food choices are quite a lot, prawns (fresh though not very big), mussels (fresh), fish (various types with 鯇魚片, 新鮮魚雲 the best), 本地滑牛, 水魷,  吊筒仔,  are recommended. Each night has one seafood special, we had crab last night, but no good. Some are also not recommended like 花膠 (too thin and too small pieces)、日式栗米丸 (only a ball of flour). It is good that they have 稻庭烏東 and 出前一丁 (together with the whole package).In general, the food quality and food amount was okay at this price. :) Some other expensive food can be ordered with extra cost, including oysters, sashimi. But we did not order these expensive ones, shall try next time.…Read More
