這是船街那些琳琅滿目頗具氣氛的餐廳的其中一員。Not gonna lie, 無論是朋友gathering 或者兩小口dating 的用餐氛圍都很好,cozy的裝潢,昏暗中搖曳的燭光,不停急步行走的外籍waiter,有兩秒令我恍如置身於意大利街頭某個溫馨小館。那位帶著銀絲框的意大利帥小伙拿著 “wine bible“ 向我們娓娓道來,我在那些意式口音英文中走了神。留下的那本 “wine bible” 我合了又開,差點以為自己看錯,因為他推薦的那些美味紅酒都叫價不菲,我與友人決定暫時放棄酒精了。説回正題,前菜的ham、Pecorino Al Fieno (熟成羊奶芝士配香梨及百里香蜂蜜),是正常發揮,即係你能想像得到的穩陣味道。沾上蜂蜜的芝士和香梨的口味令我少少新奇。意麵我忘了是哪款了,但記得是好吃的。至少從照片中我能回憶起al dente 的口感,芝士與醬汁的良好配合。香蒜橄欖油菠菜,也是正常發揮。Steak 是這裡的招牌菜,一點也不會失望,甚至是驚喜!我們二人選了 ribeye,原以為350g剛剛好,原來份量也不少。肉味香濃不在話下,烹飪熟度和調味剛剛好,完成度很高!吃完第一口,我覺得不配一杯紅酒完全是對這塊steak失去尊重!於是乎,我們就叫了一杯原先sommelier當日推薦的紅酒,三百多一杯,不便宜,但一入口,已覺值得!配上這塊完美的牛排,無憾!埋單一看,一千左右一位,最緊要食得開心。…Read More

見到好多foodie 大推呢間餐廳,好似好正咁,於是諗住嚟食生日飯慶祝,大佬,提早大半個月book都full到要8:30pm先有位,呢種受歡迎程度好難叫人唔期待。不過實情係點,當然要等chef 用作品說話。頭盤先來一個beef tartare ,有別於傳統調味,呢道菜我覺得味道偏酸,有他他口感但失去咗牛肉嘅味道。然後再來係一個貝類嘅前菜(唔記得叫咩名),幾refreshing 去到main,我哋試咗一個lobster stew,龍蝦肉處理得ok,幾滑,同埋個source 係夾嘅,但係個擺盤就出出地事⋯⋯😂你地自己感受吓⋯⋯然後去到鴨胸,不過不失。最後去到甜品,嗌咗個cookie and ice cream, well…啡色嘅曲奇上面擺一個啡色嘅雪糕,呢個造型,大佬,我想打卡但唔知點影好😂😂😂手字係靚嘅,係囉,咁。最後總結,我真係期待咗好耐,呢個價錢嚟講未去到要𠝹凳,但所有嘢就係flat咗啲,調味上無乜特別,擺盤上,希望再加油🙂畢竟600蚊一餐飯都總會有一定嘅expectation,但要等咁耐就不至於了…Read More

禮拜日晚無目的地喺船街覓食,映入眼簾有幾間餐廳都想試下,最後有位嘅揀咗BARBAR。我鍾意食西班牙菜嘅,但行入去嘅時候冇特別期望,因為早幾日先食完對面22ships(再講),令我不禁覺得,香港啲西班牙菜餐廳都幾飄忽,even大group出品都係咁話。過後我先知BARBAR 係PICA PICA姐妹店 lol週日晚接近席滿,我地做咗喺bar檯位置,餐廳環境算寬敞,裝修雅致。氣氛幾好,當晚有幾檯都係慶祝生日,或者二人date 都不錯Tapas 揀咗三款:Padron Pepper, Smoked Swordfish loin, Wagyu beef tartare & oyster.Pepper 就係最基本嘅seasoning已經好香好食。Smoked Swordfish Loin 嘅煙燻味唔算太重,個汁用橄欖油製成,enhance 返魚肉嘅口感,另外食落都唔會太腥。Wagyu beef tartare & oyster 都係on standard,有別於一般生牛肉他他,加咗啲蠔仔落去令到個鹹香鮮味層次再豐富啲。Main 揀咗 pigeon rice & foie gras。Pigeon 熟度剛好,唔會太韌亦保持到口感,foie gras 撈埋啲飯一齊食,夾鵝肝嘅油脂香,同埋綿滑嘅質地令成件事昇華咗。個飯嘅汁唔算好膩,味覺上來講夠豐富,我幾鍾意。最後甜品以Cheese cake收尾,cake中間偏流心,口感香滑,好食~Yea 最後如果大家要嗌嘢飲,不妨試試佢哋嘅cocktail,餐廳水準嚟講,我都滿意(亦因為個Sangria麻麻地)。PLUS,呢度啲服務幾好~再加上價錢亦都幾相宜,總體而言,絕對值得一試,我已經期待緊下次再訪!…Read More

我無細閱太多文苑爭論,難得book到位不如一探究竟。文苑出名嘅菜式頗多,今次重點擺咗喺乳豬同炒飯。堂剪乳豬頗出色。經過特別處理之後嘅乳豬,保留了一定的肉臊味但絕不重,乳豬皮脆到咯咯聲,肉質軟腍,伴隨油脂香,色香味都係滿分。完全係見真章之作。除咗堂剪乳豬,仲有堂炒炒飯。經理同一時間handle兩鍋炒飯,考功夫。比起喺廚房炒,堂炒用嘅gas爐就少啲鑊氣。口感來講未夠乾身,接受範圍內。小炒王我幾鍾意,蝦乾大隻,夠鹹香,送酒一流。另外一味有驚喜係黑松露手撕雞,擺盤鋪得返啲雞皮喺面頭,好有心機。雞皮薄脆、雞肉嫩、下底墊咗啲柚子果肉同青瓜balance 返黑松露嘅味,好清新。最後有小小失望嘅係蟹肉桂花炒瑤柱。略嫌唔夠乾身,可能係芽菜處理爭小小。蟹肉同桂花可以炒得再碎啲鬆散啲嘅話,咁口感會再好啲。其他餸菜不過不失,呢個價錢來講,出品我覺得係ok的。BTW, 呢度嘅staff 服務態度都幾好吖。…Read More

大班樓,亞洲頭十嘅餐廳,係將普通食材昇華、然後將味道發揮到極致嘅典範。自從米芝蓮摘星之後更加一位難求,真係托朋友嘅鴻福先至食到。價錢合理,一千元一位的收費比很多有姿勢冇實際的fine dining 來的令人心服口服。等位等半年(有得等已經好好彩)先食到嘅一餐飯,將大家嘅期望拉到好高好高,所幸係唔會令人失望。甚至有好多將近失傳嘅功夫粵菜仲可以喺度食到,實在不可多得。聽講大班樓依家轉咗做omakase制,冇得自己揀食咩,不過都分享吓有啲咩值得一試嘅菜式。先有金錢蟹盒(終於試到呢道手工名菜),以豬網油包裹嘅蟹盒鬆化酥脆。然後有魚米粥蝦籽琵琶蝦,聽講粥水以人手用布過濾數次,先至有咁順滑無渣、但係有好香米味嘅粥水,琵琶蝦蝦肉亦十分嫩滑。嚟到大班樓,點可以唔試佢哋最出名嘅雞油花雕蒸花蟹配陳村粉,不過我覺得大班樓嘅呢道菜整體而言味道較淡,所選嘅陳村粉較厚身,所以索汁同口感嘅爭小小,不過都出色嘅。三蝦炒飯(鮮蝦、蝦乾、蝦膏)飯粒夠乾身,整體夠鮮味,呢個保持到一貫水準!其餘有啲朋友讚不絕口嘅菜式,我覺得都OK的,如此用心費神去做呢啲買少見少嘅懷舊手工菜當然值得尊敬,味道於我而言又未至於要擺上神檯,如炸粽、臭豆腐等。總括而言,book到檯嘅,有何不可?…Read More
