今天想吃烤鴨,當然首選主打京川滬菜嘅「霸王山莊」。「霸王山莊」有多款招牌菜色,烤鴨當然是不二之選。餐廳裝潢簡約,以杏啡色為主調,店內地方頗大,設有卡位、方桌和圓檯,環境高雅闊落。餐牌分門別類,由冷盤、雞鴨魚蝦、湯、豬牛羊,以至豆腐、菜蔬、飯麵、點心、甜品及飲品等,一應俱全。頭盤選了雞絲粉皮,雞絲滑嫩、青瓜清爽、粉皮煙韌。配上芝麻醬和花生碎粒,好味!北京烤鴨只係點咗半隻,但份量都唔少。鴨皮酥脆,鴨肉鮮嫩,放上餅皮,再加埋京蔥絲、青瓜同甜麵醬卷住一齊食,好滋味。豬柳扒擔擔麵湯底辣度啱啱好,帶花生和麻醬香。麵條煙韌有嚼勁,豬柳扒炸至金黃色,外層香酥薄脆,配擔擔麵食,口感一流!砂鍋雲吞雞以位上,雞湯濃郁清甜、雲吞餡料足,雞件嫩滑、菜膽吸收晒金華火腿同雞肉嘅精華,食完成身暖笠笠。霸王生煎包大小適中,底部煎至脆卜卜,肉餡鮮味十足。最後以甜品作結,揀咗客上海灘豆沙鍋餅,面頭黐滿了粒粒芝麻,外層酥脆,豆沙餡香甜綿密,味道不俗。…Read More

今日星期六,又冇局。老婆同亞仔各自威,我就落銅鑼灣Sogo趁大減價掃貨。去到Sogo,人山人海,四圍都是強國人,處處都要排隊,形勢惡劣,決定撤退。購物夢碎,銅鑼灣食肆林立,改為找吃。走進渣甸中心,大廈內有不同食肆,有中有西,有新有舊,有平有貴。其中一間叫西餐大牌檔,名字中西合壁,有點好奇,就走進試試。餐廳在7樓,電梯打開就看到一個中式大花牌,十分搶眼。餐廳佈置簡潔,光線充足,座位寬敞,坐得舒適。可能時間尚早,店內食客不多。侍應奉上Brunch 推介單張,Brunch 包括海鮮併盤、甜品、餐飲及有多款主菜選擇。海鮮併盤生蠔、鮑魚、日本刺身帶子、鮮蝦同聖子刺身。生蠔蠔味濃郁,略帶海水咸味,而磯煮鮑魚經醬汁燜煮,肉質鮮甜彈牙。北海道的帶子刺身和紐西蘭聖子刺身也鮮味十足,至於本地基圍蝦也不失色,肉質爽嫩。隨併盤有香草汁和芥末醬以供調味。餐湯是黑松露蘑菇湯,餐湯上枱時熱氣騰騰,黑松露味濃郁,蘑菇粒有口感,味道可口。跟上的香軟餐包,配上牛油,十分好味。主菜是美國牛肉眼扒,五成熟的牛肉眼扒,肉嫩多汁,再配上紅黃大椒、扁荳、西蘭花及紫薯蓉,伴以燒汁,鮮味可口。最後是餐茶凍咖啡,甜品是芒果布甸,伴以花奶,入口香甜軟滑。就這樣在西餐大排檔 hea了2粒鐘,這個Brunch 味道好,價錢合理,地方坐得舒適,值得推介。…Read More

最近香港人普遍注意飲食健康,無肉不歡的飲食態度在轉變中,多菜少肉已成最新飲食文化,更有些朋友索性素食。小弟實不懂何謂食齋何謂食素,祗知沒有肉吃,比較健康。現在齋菜素食也講潮流,今天就和老友到銅鑼灣渣甸中心悠蔬食試試新派素食。悠蔬食店面佈置簡潔,坐位舒適。坐下就每人叫了一個晚市套餐(每客人$218),套餐有前菜、手卷、湯品及主食。前菜有滷水豆腐伴蓮藕、紅菜頭蘋果合桃沙律及日本山藥面線配熱情果汁。滷水豆腐入味,蓮藕爽口。紅菜頭蘋果合桃沙律配搭新穎、味道不錯。日本山藥面線配熱情果汁,味帶酸,惹味開胃。湯品分別叫了南瓜甘筍栗子雪耳忌廉濃湯和竹笙虫草花百合燉湯,前者味濃,後者清甜,適合不同口味人士。再來的手卷絕對是新派素菜,很有特色,紫菜非常爽脆,蘆筍素香鬆苜蓿芽手卷和香芒牛油果苜蓿芽手卷都十分可口。主食叫了豉椒猴菇燴小卷心菜配珍珠糙米飯及和風松露野菌秋葵炒扁意粉。豉椒猴菇燴小卷心菜炒得火侯十足,有廣東小炒風味,和風松露野菌秋葵炒扁意粉,則有東洋特色,兩者都十分滋味。最後甜味有紅棗桂圓椰汁糕和熱情果乳酪蛋糕。此店食物份量十足,價格合理,值得再試。…Read More

星期六晚,家中各人各有節目,自己遂去炮台山逛逛,順便醫肚。走過炮台山電器道,發現麗東酒店烏燈黑火,好像結業,真是好景不常。但斜對面的友邦保險大廈則恰恰相反,燈火通明,地下食肆,客似雲來。正想醫肚,就選了一間叫「越泰」的食店試試。店舖裝飾簡潔,坐位舒適。菜牌都是越南和泰國美食,坐下後就叫了飲品椰汁紅豆冰 ($26),主菜越式椒鹽軟殼蟹 ($128) 和原個菠蘿海鮮炒飯 ($98)。紅豆冰很快送上,飲品以椰汁加入紅豆製成,入口椰子味十分濃郁,紅豆充滿咬感之餘亦夠甜美,帶熱帶風情,有點驚喜。主菜越式椒盬軟殼蟹,想不到新鮮炸起後會如此鬆脆香口,上枱時還熱氣騰騰。軟殼蟹經過油泡後,一口咬下即有「咔嚓」的聲音,比起平時食的軟殼蟹手卷更為香脆,口感不錯,惟稍嫌椒鹽味不足。最後上的原個菠蘿海鮮炒飯份量十足,賣相吸引。大菠蘿挖空後再放入包括鮮蝦、魷魚、臘肉、菠蘿粒等等炒香的熱飯,熱飯滲入鮮菠蘿味,每粒飯都十分甘香、有嚼勁,加上肉粒及菠蘿的香甜,美味可口,非常開胃。沒想到此店食材份量十足,而且還不設加一服務費,價錢經濟實惠,值得再來。…Read More

講吃,香港最好,什麼地方的菜式都很易吃到。早兩天吃了韓燒,前天試了意大利菜,昨晚去飲宴吃過粵菜,今天下午又去了吃日式放題,好像幾天之內就去了環遊世界似的,吃盡珍饈百味。下午吃完放題,就和太座在北角逛街。黃昏時走過七姊妹道,發現一間叫羅勒的印度餐廳,外觀充滿印度氣色,於是決定再下一城,把這個印度菜也吃掉。店內不大不小,陳設簡單,大約可容納五十名食客。由於吃完放題不久,肚子不太餓,兩口子祗叫了三個印度特色出品,包括炭燒無骨魚($90)、印度式炸洋蔥($35)和印度炒飯($42)。先來小吃炸洋蔥,洋蔥混入麪粉一起炸得相當鬆脆,十分爽口,不覺油膩。炸洋蔥原來份量不少,一大碟祗售$35相當超值。炭燒無骨魚跟鐵板上,熱氣騰騰,放上檯時還冒著煙。無骨魚面層燒至金黃,再配以洋蔥、青椒絲、紅蘿蔔絲和椰菜絲,魚肉入口即溶,味道不錯,不過如果可以在鐵板上時再淋點醬汁上面,會更加惹味。最後來個印度炒飯,印度米長而幼身,米味香濃,炒得很乾身。雖是清炒,配料不多,但加了香料、洋蔥絲、紅蘿蔔絲和香蔥絲等,炒出來仍覺飯香撲鼻,令人食慾大增。…Read More

很久沒吃日式放題,今天就到位於旺角創興廣場2樓的樂天大喜屋品嚐一下。我們已一早訂枱,12點到達即順利入坐,但已有大批食客早已入座。放題分3個時段,分別為 12:00 至 3:00 、18:00 至 20:30 及 20:45 至 23:15。我們選了星期六 12:00 至 3:00 時段,人客不算太多。此店規模頗大,座位很多,陳設簡單舒適,但如果坐滿食客,會稍嫌擠迫。枱上放了2個放滿點菜紙的小盒子,方便客人點菜。放題食品種類繁多,有刺身、壽司、卷物、手卷、沙律、一品料理、燒物、炸物、蒸焗、面食、甜品、應有盡有。飲品方面,設有飲品櫃放滿各類飲品,有可樂、果汁先生、蘋果汁、咸柑桔、鳥烏龍茶和式韓國飲品,讓客人自取。雪糕則有名牌哈根達斯和2款韓式雪條。我們坐下即手起筆落,實行任點任食。刺身選了三文魚、八爪魚、北海道帶子、北寄貝、象拔蚌、鮑片、響螺片、甜蝦和極大赤蝦。刺身肉質鮮甜,爽口彈牙。壽司則叫了樂壽司、天壽司、喜壽司、三文魚壽司、皇帝蟹棒壽司和蒲燒鰻魚壽司。各款壽司製作認真,賣相不錯,材料新鮮,味道可口。另叫了熱食和風牛肉粒、朝鮮風年糕炒魷魚、蒜香炒野生雜菌、牛油雞脾菇、燒溫室菠蘿、鹽燒雞翼、鮮蟹粥,炸物則叫了天婦羅蝦和一口甜蕃薯,蒸焗類嘗了日式蒸蛋、極品蒸鮮鮑和法式香蒜焗田螺。所有熱食即叫即做,上枱時皆熱氣騰騰,都是水準之作。最後甜品吃了木槺布甸、楊枝甘露、Chocolate Brownie 、 哈根達斯和韓式雪條。由於眼闊肚窄,很多食物例如沙律、手卷、軍艦、面食、煮物、燒物等等都未品嚐,有點可惜,唯有下次留肚再來光顧。埋單每位$208另加一收費,晚市時段則分別為每位$228 (假日則為$248)。整體而言,能品嚐這麼多款式的美食,這個放題的收費算是相當合理。…Read More

香港飲食文化不停轉變,以往祗在冬天才有應市的火鍋、煲仔飯及糯米飯,現在大熱天時,也可以吃到,認真方便。在30幾度高溫下吃火鍋,確另有一番味道。但普通的火鍋試多了,又覺不外如是。今天巧合試了個新店叫黃記煌,主打人氣三汁燜鍋。此店位於灣仔摩利臣山道9號,裝飾簡潔,交通亦算方便。據悉黃記煌全球有超過500間分店,遍佈中國大陸各省市、新加坡、印尼及澳洲。三汁燜鍋標榜健康、營養、綠色及衛生。燜鍋無油煙,無煎炒烹炸,憑食物本身水份燜製煮熟,鎖住營養成份。燜鍋由十種新鮮蔬菜做底料,即叫即做,烹製過程現場操作。燜鍋是源於清代御膳名餚,流入民間,一鍋兩吃,先燜後涮,口味特別。我們叫了個鉗魚燜鍋 ($268),選用醬汁。侍應端出4個膠盒,分別盛裝了豆油、芫茜、蔬菜和鉗魚。侍應先將豆油落鍋,再放入蔬菜共10種(有紅蘿蔔、青紅椒、紅棗、杞子、車厘茄、西芹和蒜頭等等),蔬菜上面再放新鮮鉗魚,跟著蓋好加熱燜大約十多分鐘,再放入醬油和芫茜煮數分鐘即成。當打開鍋蓋,即時魚香撲鼻。蔬菜融入醬油,十分惹味,鉗魚肉質鮮嫰,燜煮後肉質仍入口彈牙。吃清鉗魚後,再加雞湯,一鍋兩吃,先燜後涮。再叫了一客火鍋配料雪花肥牛($98)來涮涮,雪花肥牛賣相普通,但肉質不錯,熟後入口即溶,十分可口。整體來說,此店價錢合理,侍應招呼也很到位,主打三汁燜鍋,一鍋兩吃,先燜後涮,口味特別,值得一試。…Read More

銅鑼灣食肆林立,找吃不難。今天在一日式串燒店,一改口味,叫了烏冬糊口。串燒店叫醉串,位於銅鑼灣謝菲道洛克大廈地下。顧名思義,醉串當然是有酒飲有串燒的好地方。店舖不大不小,佈置簡潔,坐得舒適。光顧日正是星期六中午約12點左右,店內食客不多。侍應奉上午市優惠推介單張,有不同石鍋烏冬選擇,可以配上不同湯底。叫了一客頂級牛肉石鍋烏冬配黑豚豬骨湯 ($78),原套餐包咖啡或茶,但小弟另加$6要了凍飲乳酸梳打。小弟貪吃,再叫了小食日式炸豬排 ($32)。未幾,侍應端上頂級牛肉石鍋烏冬,配料還有栗米粒、生蛋、木耳絲和豆苗,賣相不錯。牛肉入口即溶,烏冬爽口彈牙,都是上成材料,再加上濃郁黑豚豬骨湯,非常可口。由於是石鍋烏冬,石鍋熱力令食材能良久保持溫暖,效果不錯。小食日式炸豬排,炸得金黃搶眼,入口鬆化,再配合清甜青瓜及疏菜共食,另有風味。飽肚後再來冰凍乳酸梳打解渴,真是美事。…Read More

今晚收工,路過大角咀埃華街,發現有一美式漢保包店,名叫 BURGERMAN。看門口站了數人,似在等外賣。在此環頭環尾,竟然有眾多捧場客,估計此店食材應有水準,於是走進小店,準備一飽口福。店舖位處街尾,面積不大,有十多個座位,都是高枱高椅,吧枱設計。食物款式不算太多,選了個黑松露磨菇意粉($60),另加小食炸洋蔥圈($22) 和飲品 Snapple-Kiwi Strawberry ($25)。廚房效率頗高,轉眼已送上飲品和炸洋蔥圈。洋蔥圈炸得熱烘烘,色澤金黃,十分搶眼。洋蔥圈外皮炸得非常鬆化,配上沙律醬,十分可口。再加上一口冰凍 Kiwi Strawbarry Snapple,真是相得益彰。跟上的黑松露磨菇意粉,黑松露味濃,磨菇味清,加上少許豆苗拌和彈牙意粉,絕對是水準之作。此店食材份量十足,埋單 $107,抵食。…Read More

星期一晚下班後,跟老婆去試試尖沙咀 The One 的大力棒棒摩登私房菜。我是大鄉里,未吃過私房菜, 今晚定要飽餐一頓。餐館在 Level 4, 店子面積不大不小,佈置優雅。雖然是星期一,店裡都坐滿了客人,店員為我們安排了一個房間,坐得很舒適很鬆動。肚子餓了,叫服務生隨即起菜。先來個三點頭盤元貝,炸生蠔,士多啤梨豚肉。元貝經輕燒,表面色澤金黃,十分搶眼。元貝肉質偏軟,鮮味十足,入口即溶,非常可口;生蠔則炸得相當通透, 加上以沙律醬吊味,食落鬆脆惹味,蠔味濃郁;而豚肉肉質鮮嫩,融入士多啤梨調味,口味相當新鮮。再來一個蟲草螺頭燉雞湯,湯十分清甜,據稱廚房早在上午 11 點左右已開始燉雞湯,故火路十足,真是極品靚湯。跟著上是主打蟹粉的蟹粉蒜蓉包,對於不喜歡落手落腳拆蟹吃肉吃膏的人士,真是方便。 蟹粉呈金黃色,十分搶眼。廚房亦見心思,用小瓦鍋盛載,看上來很有特色,下面用小爉燭加熱,令蟹粉保持溫暖,食落蟹粉鮮味十足,真材實料,再配上蒜容包,另有一番風味。意猶未盡,再來個蟹粉花膠炒鮮奶。蟹粉依然出色,味道濃郁,再配上花膠和炒鮮奶的鮮甜,味道恰到好處。肚已半飽,侍應再捧上一大碗卡邦尼鮮蝦墨魚麵。鮮蝦經開邊後炸透,再伴以沙律醬,香口惹味。 而卡邦尼墨魚麵則不過不失,勝在大碗飽肚。最後再來一道海鮮蝦球浸菜清清腸胃。退殼海蝦配以娃娃菜,蝦肉滑口鮮甜,但娃娃菜稍嫌「鞋」口,如配以豆苗口感應更佳。飽肚後就是兩道甜品,冰鎮鴛鴦糕點和拔絲巨峰提子士多啤梨。鴛鴦糕點是清香桂花糕和椰汁糕,至於拔絲巨峰提子士多啤梨則做法新穎。拔絲由糖粒加熱溶解後,再經廚師用筷子巧妙地做出拔絲效果,視覺與觀感其佳,而甜拔絲配上帶酸的提子及士多啤梨,口感亦不錯。是次私房菜埋單,每人盛惠四百元,需另收加一服務費。 …Read More

I have always been a huge cookie lover since I was very young. One of my favorite pastimes is to try out the best cookies around Hong Kong. This time, I have chosen the Bear cookies from Gu Fah Bakery as my target. The can of cookies come with four different shapes with various flavors of butter, coffee, oatmeal raisin and white butter, which looks quite appealing at first sight. Taste is also decent enough and texture is so soft that you can feel the cookie melt the instant it was put inside your mouth, but I would personally prefer cookies which are crispier.
