晚上到了一家裝修不錯的泰國菜館吃晚飯。一隻可愛小狗 Hero 伴著我們五人一起吃飯,為晚餐增加了不少趣味。餐廳名字是:Mint,薄荷葉。泰菜常用的其中一種香料。由於我跟黃老太早到,一於先來兩杯泰啤,濕一濕口唇,潤一潤喉嚨。在商量該點些什麼來下酒,侍應說「不如給你們來一客蝦片,免費的。」笑容便由這一刻開始直到作鳥獸散。《泰式生蝦》蝦新鮮,醬料美味。我們來了兩碟,五個人吃了廿四隻。《炒芥蘭苗》菜苗鮮甜,味道濃郁。《泰式拼盤》賣相美感十足,串燒入味非常,難得地保持美味的肉汁。香芧餅一般我是不吃的,這晚來了兩塊。炸春卷的皮比較厚,亦不是我愛吃的脆皮。老闆說這才是正宗的做法。《泰式炒通菜絲》難得在香港可以吃到需要非凡刀法才做得出的菜式。《咖哩大頭蝦》本來是想吃蟹的,可惜售罄。咖哩甜而不辣,蝦頭有不少膏,可惜蝦身太小,五個人根本不夠吃。《薄餅》咖哩伴侶怎麼能少?可惜不夠酥,餅身亦比較實。《冬陰功》沒有什麼材料在湯內。吃到差不多尾聲,侍應才問我們是否還未送湯來。是來得太晚,以至豐富的海鮮已經給其他人客吧。《蝦醬炒飯》賣相討好,味道及用料十足。《泰式燒雞》好吃,好在他們的香料完全融入雞肉,芳香噗鼻。雞肉嫩滑帶有肉汁。《炸魔鬼魚》有魚鮮味,脆脆的下酒一流。《生果盤》誠意十足,有士多啤梨、楊桃等等。沒有因為是送的而草草了事。是晚晚餐每人二百三十元,價錢不算貴,食物亦不是特別出色。但老闆跟伙計都很好人,每碟菜的賣相都有花過心思,就算是送的蝦片亦然。讓客人吃得開心也是留客之道。更多圖片及有關網誌:http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/stewart-too/article?mid=2319…Read More

好耐都無試過食得咁開心

今次我放入口既差不多全部都係海鮮同甜品;黃老太亦不甘後人,我見佢今次食既份量都唔少得過我好多。首先第一碟:生蠔 + 凍熟蝦「生蠔」好新鮮,海水味十足。不過係澳洲蠔,比較細隻。「凍蝦」亦都夠爽甜。當然又係我全程負責表演去蝦殼既時間喇。跟住又係海鮮:煙三文魚 + 凍蟹 + 刺身 + 壽司 + 翡翠螺 「煙三文魚」就一般啦,無咩特別。個刺身我無 Close Up,因為唔新鮮,「三文魚」旁邊既係「赤貝」,你睇個色都知咩料,所以不吃也罷。好大隻既螺,螺肉鮮、爽、甜,一流!挖出黎有成兩吋既肉身。必定要食呀老友!凍蟹好新鮮,蟹味亦十足。「吞拿魚壽司」又係好好味,加佐青瓜同芒果,感覺新鮮。跟住呢碟係黃老太既,我地食野既口味差唔多,佢呢碟有我未食既「加菲蟹」同「鰻魚壽司」。見佢食得咁開心,我都唔執輸,拎佐三份「加菲蟹」,再 Encore 蝦同螺。個「加菲蟹」既蟹味雖然唔夠越南蟹或者大閘蟹,但係個蟹身真係好鬼死多肉,有相為證架。我好少響街食蟹,因為好鬼煩。但係呢次唔同,用叉食就得嘞,優雅到不得了。跟仕又係蝦,不過係熱既「西芹蝦仁」。西芹我唔食,所以只拎蝦仁。大大隻,不過落得幾多粉去「那」佢,同埋我估佢地「啤」佐好多次水,所以爽就夠爽,不過蝦既鮮味就付諸流水了…成煲「冬菇炆花膠」,唔食真係對自己唔住。膠質呀膠質,無論皮膚同關節都好需要你,可惜發現得你太遲,之前食佐咁多野。依家食得七大舊咁少,我下次一定返黎搵你。等我…「紅酒煮鴨胸」難得唔係雪藏貨,鴨胸難入味,唔係煙既話就好考工夫點樣令到佢入味又唔「鞋」。呢間酒店做得唔錯。「海南雞飯」我只係拎佐兩件雞,無拎飯。但係呢個雞差到呢…鹹到我即刻要飲水!好懷念泰國水門既海南雞…今日一訓醒就去食,所以食唔到好多野。係時候開始食甜品喇!第一樣就梗係我最愛既「意大利芝士餅」啦。好味道!呢個「開心果芝士蛋糕」係一個驚喜!淡淡既芝士味,加開心果茸,仲有少少青檸既青香,我食佐兩件!「榛子果仁蛋糕」直情好似食緊金莎咁,面層既榛子又香又滑,個餅底又脆。好好味!可惜個甜品胃開得一半,食唔到多一件。如果佢早 D 出,我一定食佢起碼兩件呀!呢個「士多啤梨酥餅」好睇唔好食,酥餅結實過岩岩做完 GYM 既手臂!呢兩個係唔知咩名既甜品,黃老太拎既。左邊既佢食完話好似食緊「司各脫橙味魚肝油」咁喎。右邊呢個我試佐,好似雙皮奶凍咁,幾好。兩杯「芒果西米露」好好飲,芒果味香到呢… Yummy !!!「喳喳糖水」有好大粒好似西米咁既野,我成日都唔記得叫咩名。香滑又唔太甜。其實仲有其它野食,好似東風螺、燒牛肉、青口、咖哩呀咁,甜品亦都有七、八種蛋糕、 Hazzgen Dazs 雪糕,不過雪糕得四種好一般既味,所以我無食。我地由十二點一路嘆到去兩點半,佢地開咁耐我地就食足咁耐。好耐都無試過食得咁開心,絕大部份既野食都好好食,黃老太已經話要同佢既 Friend 再 Encore。我都係咁話。半價黎呢度食真係好抵!有折:每人$160!超抵呀!更多圖片及有關網誌:http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/stewart-too/article?mid=2154…Read More

清湯底不是我杯茶

五月尾同家姐去佐旺角食《毓民私房牛肉麵》,個人覺得《大婆》比較好食。雖然毓民的牛肉麵湯底真的是如其所說沒有味精,可惜,清湯底不論是配牛肉或牛腩都不是活活所喜愛的做法。《招牌牛肉麵》的拉麵及湯底的做法都不是我所喜歡的一種。牛肉做得不錯,蘿蔔亦炆得夠腍。《招牌牛肉飯》的汁是用湯底加粉打成,跟吃麵沒兩樣,而且沒有加入肉燥,有點失望。 《魯肉豆腐》的魯肉及豆腐都做得很正宗,可惜魯肉的纖維還未算軟化,只算合格。《鹽酥雞》跟在台灣吃到的一模一樣,值得一讚。 《百香果特飲》特別在有百香果的果肉和特別甜,加了一次冰和兩次水還是很甜。兩個人吃了一百七十元,食物尚算不錯,做法卻不對活活的胃口,除了外賣《鹽酥雞》之外,應該不會再幫襯了。更多的有關相片:http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/jw!eHwR3q6BBBKaBVAE_KF.lwc05B1az4HCSCCRVYo-…Read More

今晚陳總舵主急 Call 話邀請我去九龍城食泰國菜,我問佢邀請既意思係咩先,原來係佢請客。哈哈…有好野就梗係叫埋黃老太喇,點知佢個電話一直都收唔到,整定今日無緣相見。真係多謝晒總舵主。好奇怪,唔知點解會預先送上一份兩件既「蒜蓉飽」,一問之下,原來送錯了檯。可惜,圖中左上角的怪手已經急不及待撕下了一角,所以到侍應發覺送錯的時候,已經淪為餓鬼肚中飽。「泰式抄芥蘭」麻麻地啦,未炒得熟晒,又好細碟。「冬陰功」個湯底幾好,夠酸又夠辣。可惜 D 蝦唔爽,如果唔係就一流!「泰式生蝦」夠晒新鮮,配埋個辣醬又係一絕。再跟埋脆炸蝦頭,成為今日既必食項目!「咖哩炒蟹」其實真係間間都差唔多。呢間隻蟹夠大隻又夠新鮮,不過一隻要 $280,唔算好抵食。「拼盤」$80,樣樣都幾好,總舵主話個「炸蝦餅」尤其出色。「泰式豬肉炒飯」呢碟野一送上黎我已經唔係幾想食佢。又濕又林咁,上檯又唔香。要問下陳總舵主先至知好唔好食。「椰汁西米糕」送既。係咪望黎望去都好似差咁 D 野呢?哈哈…唔知點解佢地無放粒「馬豆」響中間。我又係無食到,陳總舵主食埋我果份。 「蕃薯西米露」又係送既。話明係糖水,甜少少無咩所謂,而且佢地放佐都幾多料,有蕃薯,又有木爪,算係有誠意喇!呢餐有人請,食得特別開心。哈哈…所有圖片可以看我的 Blog:http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/jw!eHwR3q6BBBKaBVAE_KF.lwc05B1az4HCSCCRVYo- …Read More

香港最正宗的「冬蔭功」

今晚和三位舊同事到西半山堅道試一間新開張一個月的泰國菜餐廳 ─ Sa Wat Dee Club。菜式很有泰國風味,因為大廚是泰國人,伴碟的手法很「泰國」!食物大至上都是我每次到泰國餐廳都會點的菜式。首先來的「冬蔭功」是我所喝過最『泰國』的一次。味道很正宗!最值得一讚的是有很多蝦,不但多,而且難得的爽口!「馬拉盞炒通菜」也不錯,可惜是先喝了「冬蔭功」,這個菜變得很清淡。「泰式拼盤」也做得很好。「柚子沙律」清新又帶點酸甜,值得推薦。「咖哩炒蟹」的汁與味都是上品,蟹亦夠新鮮。「蒜蓉包」當然是伴著「咖哩炒蟹」一起品嚐的首選食品!怎能少了它?我們還來了兩客呢!這個「蒜蓉炸軟殼蟹」弄得非常好,軟中帶脆但油份不多!有苦瓜跟番茄伴碟的「生蝦」。可能是因為泰國封鎖了機場的關係,生蝦不是最新鮮的上碟。只算是不過不失。「桂花糕」跟「大菜糕」都不太甜,但都香且爽。「芒果黑糯米」的糯米跟椰汁都不錯,可惜芒果不甜而且太少!更多的有關相片:http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/jw!eHwR3q6BBBKaBVAE_KF.lwc05B1az4HCSCCRVYo- …Read More
