To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To be honest, I was in Happy Valley because I wanted to check out this new rotisserie place which is quite similar to La Rotiszzxx.Anyway, since I was there, I stopped by Shanghai Lane which was well hidden but in a good way, there were less people dining there.Had two set lunches and extra tofu.The tofu was a bit too sweet for my liking but it was palatable.For the other lunch set, I actually wanted those dumplings because the dumplings are always good but the guy served the pork chops which we

For the other lunch set, I actually wanted those dumplings because the dumplings are always good but the guy served the pork chops which were still ok I suppose, it had a lovely crispy coating while the meat was superficially tender.

The star of the show was the tofu, I loved those salty pickled vegetables and salted egg pieces which were delicious with the rice.
