After buying some vegetables at Shek Tong Tsui Market, I was getting a bit hungry.
There was a tiny local noodles shop in the back-alley of Queen's Road, East which I had noticed a year ago and wanted to try.
I can only speak a few words of Cantonese so I plucked up my courage and asked the shop attendant that
I'd like one bowl of noodles with meatballs.
She did not understand my order at first so I wrote down in Chinese characters on a memo pad and then she understood.
I asked for one spoonful of red chili seasoning  on my noodles.
(For take away, you need to pay HK$1 extra for a food container. )
I thought the noodles was tasty enough at a decent price of HK$20.
Now, in Hong Kong the weather is getting a bit chilly and these noodles will warm you up in wintertime.
