To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. Who loves Siu mai like I do? I found this spot in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong that has 8 different flavours of Siu Mais inspired from foods all over China.😋 They now have a time-limited siu mai series, 燒賣狂想曲系列! This time, I ordered:

A platter of 6 Siu Mai in different flavours! The flavours they have are:
👉🏻Beef with 10-year Aged Tangerine Peel
👉🏻Spicy Chicken Cartilage
👉🏻Marinated Quail Egg
👉🏻Dried Oyster & Black Moss
👉🏻Iberick Pork with Marinated Oiled Jizong Mushroom
👉🏻 Sole Fillet with Spicy Sauce

My favourite is still the marinated Quail egg, it has an egg on top and so satisfying to eat. 😋

Ending our dinner with Chinese traditional desserts and dim sum is the perfect way! They have osmanthus jelly which is very refreshing in taste. Also, they have pineapple buns 🍞 which reminds me of my childhood. 😁 The interior of their restaurant is also very traditional-like, it’s a great spot to enjoy some dim sum with your friends/family!
