冰室喺Openrice人氣極高, 難得嚟到荃灣探朋友, 就慕名而來食個豐富下午餐, 因為平日兩點後嘅關係, 無需等位入座。餐廳樓底高, 裝潢走懷舊路線, 富八十年代風格, 而且座位採用梳化椅設計, 坐得舒服。食物種類多, 配搭自由度大, 而且有好多特色小食選擇, 淨係睇menu都覺得吸引。吉列豬扒鮮茄濃湯螺絲粉湯底濃稠得宜, 味道香濃, 而且鮮茄份量多, 增加口感。吉豬外脆不硬, 配合蕃茄蓉及嫩滑炒蛋, 瞬間將美味昇華自家制免切叉燒瑞士雞翼煎蛋飯叉燒原舊吃, 咬口多層次。秘製的瑞士汁無坊間其他餐廳過咸的味道, 甜味適中, 全翼肉質滑嫩juicy另外, 朋友仲叫咗個菠蘿油。麵包鬆軟, 菠蘿皮鬆脆。牛油片則厚薄適中, 面積佔大半個包, 冰火交融感覺令人大快朵頤
