屋企既習慣都是不會正日慶祝母親節,感覺總是又多人又貴,唔划算。所以,每年都會提早跟老媽子飲茶,今年主角就揀定了金葉庭,全家人就在媽媽節前一星期來了。環境是典雅,畢竟五星級酒店的裝修總不會太馬虎,但是地方一忽一忽的,感覺很侷促,我不喜歡。點菜,先來一碟蜜汁叉燒,肉質麻麻,中間的位置還勉強算得上稔身,但邊邊位便顯得較硬,而且蜜汁味太重了,很甜,對我來說是沒問題,但相信很多人會唔喜歡。$168/碟,比起很多酒店的招牌叉燒都要貴,不值。跟著三款,是金葉庭經典點心,首先係金箔燕窩蝦餃,一籠五粒,包得幾靚仔,還有金箔鋪面,盡顯貴氣。吃一粒,是皮薄餡靚,蝦肉爽口,不太乾身,能成為推介點心,自有一定水準。另一款經典點心為魚翅鮑魚燒賣皇,同樣是一籠五粒,燒賣是豐滿,卻東歪西倒的,雖有魚翅和鮑粒在上面,賣相真不算什麼。然而,味道又不錯,蝦和豬肉的比例剛好,夠爽口,鮑粒口感對勁,魚翅則只是點綴性質,可有可無。再來的經典便是豆漿梅菜叉燒飽,飽皮發的鬆,餡料不會太甜,但就未發現到梅菜的蹤影,跟一般的叉燒飽分別不大,大概是我不懂欣賞吧。香煎腐皮海鮮粿以及魚蓉腐皮卷,兩者型狀不一樣,卻有一個共通點,就是口感鬆脆。前

再來的經典便是豆漿梅菜叉燒飽,飽皮發的鬆,餡料不會太甜,但就未發現到梅菜的蹤影,跟一般的叉燒飽分別不大,大概是我不懂欣賞吧。

香煎腐皮海鮮粿以及魚蓉腐皮卷,兩者型狀不一樣,卻有一個共通點,就是口感鬆脆。前者餡料多,口感豐富;後者則是軟滑,帶著魚蓉香,總之都是收貨有餘的。

接著來的椰絲波蘿飽,熱騰騰的,可是面頭的脆皮有點硬,不及鬆脆。需知道酥皮是菠蘿飽的靈魂,一定要香脆又甜,才算得上美味的波蘿飽。所以,這兒的出品,奶皇和椰絲餡雖然對辦,但也不合我心水。

點心差不多,胃納仍有些少空間,再追加個焗蟹蓋。以一個金色的蟹型器皿盛著,幾有睇頭。把香脆的蟹蓋叉開,一絲絲的蟹肉味道鮮,混入洋蔥粒和蘑菇粒,口感更佳。但吃著這蟹蓋,想著龍景軒的出品,因我更喜歡那邊的澎湃蟹肉,想起亦回味。

甜魔家族,老豆和老媽子都能吃點甜,所以不會錯過甜品環節。蛋撻仔是熱呼呼的,撻皮香脆,蛋芯夠滑,如蛋香可以再重一點,會更理想。

試了老媽子的雪耳紅棗馬蹄露,感覺很清潤,不過甜,馬蹄粒亦充足,很足料。至於老豆的合桃露,是幾香,但味道應該要再濃郁一點,才是我的心水。

我個人認為是可以接受的水平,但就未算很好,但我的感覺還是其次,最緊要係主角滿意。
