To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

工作關係,今天經過大圍,一處我成長的地方。一條條熟悉的街道,一段段值得懷念的人和事,都在這一刻湧上心頭。雖然今天落著滂沱大雨,天色黑漆漆,走在大圍的街道上,燃點起心中往日的情懷。走過窄巷小路,經過金門餐廳,令我突然想起它的煎肉餅飯和火鴨絲湯米。眾所周知,前者煎肉餅飯,其特色在於件肉餅上,看似一碟家常的碟頭飯,咀嚼之下,肉餅的煎香夾雜著蔥花,不油不膩,肥瘦適中,咬落去其鬆軟度恰到好處。這麽多年來,其份量毫不減少,細食者,可二人分享,食量較大的,則可以完全飽肚。另外,我亦十分喜歡它的火鴨絲湯米,火鴨絲份量十足,每一啖每一口都可食到火鴨絲。它的配料中,有青紅椒和芽菜,米粉亦爽口彈牙。以上兩個鎮店食品,加上店鋪自家製的菜普,醒胃提神,更為食物錦上添花。雖然店鋪不大,家族生意,在此工作的人都很友善好客,說說笑笑,與客人打成一片,感覺好似回家吃飯一樣。
