Restaurant: Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialists

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 之前吃過深水埔店數次,認為食物質素不錯,故今天去長洲前,順道與媽咪到香港站店早茶. 9:30am到達,已有10多人排隊,果然是名氣點心!媽咪點了鮑汁鳳爪及叉燒腸,鳳爪好夠淋,亦好入味,可惜不夠熱,只是輕微的和暖,影響了整體味道.腸粉不過不失,感覺粉皮好新鮮,嫩滑,只是口感上認為略為薄了點,如厚多小許便更美味.酥皮叉燒包始終是招牌點心,皮脆, 餡料好足,加上新鮮度充足,夠熱,好味最後埋單$83加單時職員說"只可以加一次單㗎咋",語氣頗掘,還有入座時另一員工的不太禮貌態度. 對著這麼多慕名而來的遊客,這種態度,可能正正因為名氣吧!
