Restaurant: Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialists

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 中午放飯人龍在這一帶聚居, 為了要朝聖品嚐這米之蓮之星, 不惜排45分鐘去試試.首先叫了鮑汁鳳爪, 份量都唔少, 食落外皮有點鞋口, 裡面無乜脂肪, 一食已經見骨, 最大問題係說好的鮑汁在那兒? 完全吃不出鮑汁味, 味道很淡而無味, 十分普通.跟手黎個馬拉糕, 質地都幾鬆軟, 味道偏甜, 整體黎講就幾普通, 看不見米之蓮的功夫.最後試埋酥皮焗叉燒包, 菜式算特別, 酥皮唔會太甜, 因為咁唔會搶去叉燒包的味道, 叉燒包餡味道就普通, 如果酥皮可以焗得更脆口為佳.可能我的期望太高, 但整體質素實在普通, 又一名過於實的餐廳.
