To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 是日約了中同們吃Lunch, 又來到寶湖. 神父幫忙訂枱, 平日中午十二時十五分到達, 店內也挺旺場, 差不多也有七八成滿. 一貫茶樓的格局, 光光猛猛, 只是冷氣也挺大的. 時間緊迫, 點選了千層腐皮夾(HK$34), 黃金流沙包(HK$34), 招牌蝦餃王(HK$40), 山竹牛肉球(HK$23), 四寶滑雞扎(HK$40), XO醬炒蘿蔔糕(HK$34), 香草帶子腸(HK$40), 京滬小籠包(HK$40), 千層腐皮夾, 眾人也給它的賣相嚇了一驚. 哈哈, 因為大家期待是千層糕的那種. 試一口, 味道算ok, 口感也真的有數十層的腐皮, 充滿豆香. 黃金流沙包, 奶黃香甜, 也帶點沙狀, 但包層如果再軟熟一點便更好. 招牌蝦餃王, 皮過厚, 但蝦夠爽口彈牙, 但蝦的鮮味尚欠一點. 山竹牛肉球, 正常水準. 四寶滑雞扎, 由朋友們獨享, 未知味道如何. XO醬炒蘿蔔糕, 味道太辣了, 有點嗆口. 還是利小館的最好. 香草帶子腸, 腸粉皮過厚了. 京滬小籠包, 皮厚, 肉汁不香, 豬肉還帶 “渣”的口感, no no. 輕鬆的一餐, 很期待跟你們再吃啊!
