To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 朋友從英國番黎指定要食呢間餐廳因為地址方便 環境都有特式幾年前我已經食過 覺得食物一般不過朋友既然想試 即管俾多次機會當日我同朋友去到餐廳 有位女侍應即刻趕我哋走 話呢家唔做生意 啱啱要拍攝 我哋表示一早預約咗佢依然態度惡劣 冇打算同我哋解釋 其實一早預約咗店主應該有責任通知客人取消booking咁簡單既安排都可以有錯漏仲用呢種方式趕客人走搞到我朋友失望而回 求其揀咗一間食 唔知係咪呢間舖頭係咪好好生意唔憂做 飲食業服務同食物都好重要 但偏偏佢哋兩樣都冇
