Pic 1️⃣: Tea Leaf Smoked Egg / 古法煙燻鴨蛋 - $28 hkd for one 🍳
— Might be my favourite way to start off any Shanghainese meal, these eggs had an intense tea leaf aroma and were cooked to perfection (just look at that runny yolk!). However, I thought they lacked an element of savouriness.


Pic 2️⃣: Baked Stuffed Crab Shell / 蟹粉釀蟹蓋 - $150 hkd for 2 🦀
— This was really good. They are made fresh to order and are guaranteed served to you piping hot fresh out of the oven. Indeed the price is slightly steep for a very small portion but I thought it was worth a try. The crab roe was sweet and creamy, and there was a generous serving of crab meat in this. Paired with their crab vinegar, the flavours were instantly elevated and brought out the rich flavours of the crab even more.


Pic 3️⃣&4️⃣: Noodles with Spring Onion and Soy / 蔥油開洋拌麵 - $62 hkd
— Some of the best scallion oil noodles I’ve had in a while! The noodles were cooked nicely, and absorbed all the strong flavours of the spring onion and soy sauce. The dried shrimps really helped with the aroma of the noodles and added an extra boost of flavour. Really wish there were more noodles though, for the price, I got more spring onion than noodles 😅


Pic 5️⃣: Pan-fried pork buns / 上海生煎包 - $68 hkd
— The buns were pan-fried to a nice and crispy exterior whilst still being soft and pillowy on the inside. The pork filling was well seasoned and really juicy. The broth inside these buns was equally as tasty.


Pic 6️⃣: King Oyster Mushrooms with Spring Onion Sauce / 香蔥雞髀菇 - $70 hkd 🍄
— Don’t think I’ve ever seen this on the menu so I really wanted to try it out! This was a really refreshing starter and a good way to kickstart your palate and appetite. The spring onion sauce was fragrant but not overpowering. The mushrooms were nicely seasoned and had a nice chew to them. The slight acidity in this dish also makes it that extra bit more appetising.


Pic 7️⃣: “Har gau” shrimp dumplings / 筍尖鮮蝦餃 - $68 hkd 🦐
— Surprised they also serve a small selection of cantonese dim sum during lunch hours. The har gau was good, thinly wrapped with a generous amount of shrimp that was well seasoned.


📍Ambiance: 9.5/10 - beautiful interior, spacious seating (some with sea view), staff are extremely attentive and friendly.
⭐️Would visit again?: Yes

餐廳分上下兩層,由於沒訂位被帶位到下層,燈光昏暗,裝飾華麗,老上海風格。卡位十分舒適,配上台布檯燈,感覺浪漫。大閘蟹套餐:最後還是簡約至上,叫了鮑魚雞煲,蔬菜及上海菜飯。鮑魚雞悶煮得十分入味,四隻鮑魚個頭不小,肉質彈牙。雞肉和鮑汁互相補充令味道更加濃郁。炒豆苗的豆苗新鮮,翠綠油油,食落有豆苗的香氣。整盤很快被掃乾淨。鹹肉菜飯是上海特色。飯粒加上肉的鹹香和油脂,再加上菜粒平衡口感,非常惹味。餐廳消費較貴,加上飲品人均要五百以上,如果喜歡優雅環境和靚景是個不錯的選擇。

總括來講,呢個環境,唔計支紅酒,茶芥加一,套餐價錢$488 per head嘅價錢,算係合理既。其實散叫可能食嘅嘢水準可能會好啲,下次都係自己揀!店員服務都都很有禮貌。我覺得都合格嘅。

It was a hard task to make a choice among the innovative cocktail list. To match the splendid harbour view, we ordered ‘Harbour Breeze’🎑

Dried salted plum infused Tequila, Huadiao, fresh lime juice, agave syrup

It was a condensation of plum, tequila and Huadiao. Sour favour from plum was outstanding while the scent of Huadiao gradually emerged in the after-taste. Taken a sip, LadyB could see a sophisticated Shanghainese lady in Qipao elegantly walking past. This cocktail could better perform if being served in ice so that layers of favour could be differentiated and more easier for light drinkers.

Retreating the view from the harbour and looking back into the inner chamber, it was a modern deco dining place with a subtle hint of early 90s Shanghainese style. As the hair flowing with the harbour breeze, the time seemed travelling back to the last century Shanghai.

What a nostalgic Shanghainese night!

公司Christmas dinner, 滿心期待可以一飽口腹,但是真的跌碎了一地眼鏡,是眼花還是幻覺,每道菜的樣都與相片不符,外藉同事怀疑地再三確定有冇上錯菜,而且份量更是驚人的細,忍不住問職員是否正常份量,回答說是正常的份量,問是否大廚換了,因有同事幾年前食過,質素差好遠。職員回應沒有換,問多句之後更粗氣答The same, OK?!有錢不要這樣花,真的。。片皮鴨。。只有皮冇肉,解釋說鴨是生燒,只燒皮,肉是生的,如果片埋肉就血淋淋喎,片皮之後再炒肉,一鴨兩吃,最後D炒肉最後才上,肉丝硬到似冰了很久的凍肉,後悔未有拍照 。。鴨皮一般般,普通燒味店好食好多😤津白及炒京蔥牛肉,更是好似俾人食過咁。。。今次有影相,大家如果食過可以告知是否一樣,拜托。。仲有茄子,酸甜蝦,糖醋排骨,崧子魚。。。真的唔知以為食緊兩餸飯。。真的想知有冇人有相同遭遇。。好評的人是幸運兒還是。。。

有錢不要這樣花,真的。。
片皮鴨。。只有皮冇肉,解釋說鴨是生燒,只燒皮,肉是生的,如果片埋肉就血淋淋喎,片皮之後再炒肉,一鴨兩吃,最後D炒肉最後才上,肉丝硬到似冰了很久的凍肉,後悔未有拍照 。。

Not far above average... had expected much better from this Michelin starred restaurant.Ordered the lunch set menu A as it had all the "usual suspects" and wanted to see how well the restaurant could deliver on commonly ordered items.Starting well good tasting platter, liked this Looks like trying to stuff too much into a small bowl! why don't they use a bigger bowl? Bad presentation. Average taste.Hairy crab roe with egg white beneath - this is the best tasting item in this menu in my opinion.

Hairy crab roe with egg white beneath - this is the best tasting item in this menu in my opinion. Hairy crab in season
