知道這間餐廳不但名字有趣,環境特別也是受歡迎的賣點之一。這天去食午餐,預先在另一個網app訂位有折。這裡的同一份餐牌全日適用,只是先在網上訂檯午餐可享有較多的折扣。餐廳地方比想像中細,但環境設計是幾特別的,起碼比較少在其他地方能夠看到類似的裝修。餐廳裝修似是用上環保物料,旁邊也有一些寄賣物品。座位擺了一套碟和餐具,各有特色。菠菜大蝦意粉($158)的擺盤和顏色很得體,看似用料都很足。前面看是有一對蝦站著,兩隻蝦都很大隻。大概是半煎炸或者用炸的方式去處理蝦,外殼脆,從觸鬚可以看到。裡面的肉質還可,少許黏殼可接受,不過想不到會有兩隻那麼大隻的蝦從後面可以看到有一堆芝士和差不多是墨綠色的意粉。芝士是刨在表面而不是混了進去或者用芝士粉,讓人感到實在和豐富。意粉方面用了有少許粗度的扁意粉,軟硬度適中,可以輕易地把醬汁掛在意粉上,份外濃郁。說是一個菠菜意粉,實際上不會太覺得有菠菜的味道,能食到忌廉的味道。整體上意粉有點creamy,味道濃郁,食完都幾飽的。牛油果蟹肉意粉($168)的擺盤同樣很有心思。上面有很多蟹肉,然後有一堆切片的牛油果,最下面是忌廉扁意粉,同樣有些刨了的芝士在旁,味道也是不錯的。食完意粉想要杯飲品,就點了兩杯咖啡。這是雲呢拿鮮奶咖啡($48)。其實原本我是點榛子鮮奶咖啡($48)的,店員把這杯雲呢拿鮮奶咖啡放下後告訴我是榛子味道。我喝著喝著,都不覺得有榛子味,只有咖啡和一點甜味,又不太能說出是甚麼味道。朋友的咖啡來了,喝著喝著又覺得有點奇怪,原來店員是把兩杯咖啡的款式調轉了,都讓我們感到很無奈😅即時我們點的是有加入syrup的咖啡,除咖啡的味道外其實不太飲到其他味,毫不突出,建議點其他飲品或者是普通咖啡就可,不需要點flavoured coffee。關於這杯咖啡還有點小建議。盛著咖啡的碟比較長,只擺放一隻咖啡匙讓人感覺好像碟太大要把匙斜放充位置。既然餐廳的定位不是走便宜路線,倒不如在把匙斜放的空位上放兩、三塊曲奇或餅乾;既大方得體,更能令客人更享受在這裡用餐的時光意想不到地,這裡除裝修特別之外,食物質素也是不錯的,特別是在餐牌設計和擺盤方面很有心思。相比起在很多cafe點一個意粉動輒要$100,食物質素不保證,環境嘈炒還不能坐太耐。下次如想找個悠閒的地方休息一下,敘敘舊,食點有質素的食物,不妨可以來慢理牆城呀! continue reading

Really wanted to try their stunning desserts and drinks so finally came with my friend. We only ordered one savory and the rest was for sweets.We ordered the Linguine with crab meat and avocado for the savory.In the menu, they kindly reminded that the pasta is al dente, which we enjoyed. This was an extremely nice gesture as some of us enjoy our pasta on the softer side. The crab meat gave the pasta is flavor while the avocado gave the pasta its richness and together it was a really good savory, especially since we initially just targeted the dessert.The 3 layer mango milk not only tastes great but is fun as well.In the bottom of the cup is one thick layer of mango milk/puree. The top is a thick mango milk foam. The staff will gradually guide you to use the spoon to make a hole in the middle then slowly pour the mango milk into it and the end result will be this.For the flavor, the mango milk was slightly less prominent, likely due to the foam but was still a lovely drink.We ordered both of the lemon desserts.The Limone ripieno was in quite a large lemon so there was a lot of sorbet to share with my friend. By itself, it is definitely on the tart side. However, the marshmallows on the side are not just for decoration. When eating both the sorbet and the marshmallows, it created the perfect combo.Another beautiful dessert is the Tartufo limoncello. The plating of the sauce was lovely and again, I recommend eating the dessert with the sauce to have the perfect balance.The service throughout the meal was lovely. They kept refilling the water and even offered us extra utensils before we asked. We were occupying a two-person table but they later combined another table with ours so we would feel less congested.Definitely will come back again. continue reading

七十七回•不到「牆城」枉為食評家平安夜一定要平安,決定翻越長城,到了塞外的虎狼之地吃聖誕大餐。每人要消費$280,實在是意料之外。甫踏進餐廳,立刻被餐廳的環境吸引住,有一種感覺很像另一打卡餐廳「慢家燈火」,不論是餐廳的設計、碗碟也有一種似曾相識的感覺。點了1) 香煎法式羊架 ($338); 2) 美國香炸雞翼($68); 3) 薩拉熱窩上的檸檬($128); 4) 鮮炸蘋果紅菜頭西柚檸檬汁($58)。先來了美國香炸雞翼($68),雞翼大大隻,很厚肉,感覺像雞翼山那款,且肉質鮮甜,絕對十分滿意,配合沙律,減低邪惡率。後來了香煎法式羊架($338),羊肉點了7成熟,剛剛好,吃下去沒有酥味。配合薄啡荷醬,進一步將肉汁鎖上。薯條也有些少驚喜,不像別人用薯仔造,吃下去有一點脆卜卜的感覺👍🏻吃飽飽後還有飯後甜品,就是那個薩拉熱窩上的檸檬($128),只看名字,根本不知道是什麼來的。。。一上來,就已經知道這又是一個脂肪爆錶的甜品,整碟滿佈燒烤過的綿花糖,邪惡之靈。一切開檸檬,就是整個雪疤,一啖啖咬下去,配合棉花糖,在冷熱交融之下,令吃者醒生夢死。至於那個鮮炸蘋果紅菜頭西柚檸檬汁($58),奇怪的名字,但喝下去相對清新,可以接受。或許最有印象的是那個餐廳的背景牆,我家寶寶拿著一個神燈就玩了半天😘😘或許最有印象的是有一個侍應生,好客之道的他我有點害羞,接近機械人的服務令我有賓至如歸的感覺。 continue reading

     週末來到享負盛名的熱門「打卡」餐廳——「慢理牆城」,來一趟視覺與味覺之旅。不知道有多少人第一次前來這間位於酒店大堂樓上的餐廳時,會像兩位友人一樣迷路,就算沒有,大概也需要思考數秒,皆因酒店入口較低調,只有進內才看到餐廳的指示牌。不過,上了樓,甫步進餐廳就是一系列「吸睛」的布置——以木板砌成一格格的牆擺放着各式各樣的懷舊小物,配上大片綠色植物,謍造出森林的格調。大熊貓與牛油果布偶不只是裝飾,更是客人「打卡」時的配角。餐廳環境的設計與布置精巧,盡顯心思。    言歸正傳,今天品嘗到的美食有:「慢落豬」慢煮西班牙黑毛豬串燒配甜蕃薯條、芝士焗黑松露薯條、牛油果忌廉蟹肉意大利飯及蕃茄盅水牛芝士配柚子醋,飲品則有美式咖啡、可可咖啡、荔枝薄荷梳打。串燒黑毛豬肉結實有嚼勁,薄薄的脂肪層經燒烤後變得肥美可口,青紅椒既消減了油膩感,又令這道菜餚的味道更豐富,配上香甜的炸蕃薯條,實在令人垂涎三尺!而牛油果忌廉蟹肉意大利飯不但擺盤設計特別,令人眼前一亮,而且蟹肉鮮甜不腥,配搭濃香忌廉混入米飯與牛油果,既創新又味美,不錯!至於芝士焗黑松露薯條,簡直就是薯條界的極品!令人一試無法停口,正!最後蕃茄盅水牛芝士配柚子醋,雖然食材配搭是歷久不變的,但勝在擺盤有新意,讚! continue reading
