One of my friend had recommended me tryout The Limestone Arms and even kind enough to make the reservation for me. We had ordered 3 main dishes roasted spring chicken with all the trimmings, roasted pork belly with cracklings and all the trimmings and fish & chips. The spring chicken is too dry and lack of flavor, it clearly need a good rub and marination before being roasted. The pork belly also too dry and the skin is just too hard. I suggest the chef can use Guang Dong roast pork as a reference to make the pork belly skin much crispier. As for the fish & chips, the red snaper just taste too fishy (not fresh). Need to pay more attention to the frosting and deforsting of raw food.Overall the taste of the food still have much room for improvement. However they do provide some special ale that are not the usual suspect you found in most bars. Salute! continue reading
