位於銅鑼灣的鐵板燒雪舟,是一間主打日式鐵板燒的高級餐廳。餐廳是開放式廚房,廚師在客人面前製作料理,客人可邊欣賞製作過程邊吃美食,絶對是一個很好的用餐體驗哦。不論環境還是氣氛,勻有令人回到日本神戶旅遊的感覺呢。雪舟鐵板燒午餐$318/人套餐包括: 沙律,茶碗蒸,燒海鮮,燒牛肉/豚肉/地雞/鱈魚,炒嘢菜,蒜蓉炒飯,味噌湯,甜品和飲品,非常豐富唷。南瓜沙律甜中帶酸,味道特別。炸菇賣相和味道猶如炸魚,令人很驚喜呢。茶碗蒸雞蛋超級滑溜溜,順滑入囗,加入菇粒增加囗感,和黑胡椒醬汁調味,跟一般的茶碗蒸完全不同呢。燒肉方面,選擇燒美國高級牛柳和美國西冷薄燒。廚師手法利落,迅速把牛肉燒好了。高級牛柳切成肉粒,肉質軟腍,可惜有點靱。西冷薄燒則更為美味,肉質更幼軟,夾上香蔥配料,味道更有層次蒜蓉炒飯,賣相非常特別唷。插上薄薄的飯焦片,香脆可囗,炒飯除了使用蒜蓉,更加入高菜翻炒,鹹味適中,也不錯啦。最後更有焦糖芝士蛋糕作結。 continue reading

After returning to Hong Kong, godbro XO and I decided to meet up for lunch, so I can give him the stuff I got for him in the US.  I always crave Japanese food when I come back since there is a lack of quality Japanese food in the US.  Due to the effects of jet lag, I wanted a heartier meal for lunch, so we decided to have teppanyaki at Teppanyaki Sessyu.We were seated in a spacious, secluded area that had a good number of seats around the teppanyaki grill.Our table settings included a napkin, hot tea, and a hot towel, and the chopsticks were supported by these cute snoozy cats.After looking over the lunch menu, I decided to order the Beef Steak Teppanyaki Set with Australian Beef Inside Skirt.  The beef was an Australian wagyu, and the set included nine courses along with condiments.The salad was a Pumpkin Salad that has savory mushrooms, crunchy greens, and chunks of seasonal pumpkin!The Sashimi course included fresh Salmon and White Fish sashimi.Small Dish: The Prawn Fritter with Corn and Onion had a natural sweetness to it, but it was a little overcooked for my taste.While the chef was grilling our food, the chawan mushi was served.Steamed Egg Custard: The chawan mushi was heated on the teppanyaki grill, so even the saucer on the bottom was warm to the touch.The egg custard was very smooth and velvety; the egg mixture of egg, broth, mushrooms, and julienne vegetables were seasoned delightfully.Australian Beef Inside Skirt (150g):  The steak was medium rare as requested, and it was served with an herb salt and a savory sauce.The skirt steak was full of beef flavor and incredibly tender without being overly greasy!Sauteed Vegetables: The vegetables were lightly-seasoned and had the right amount of crunch to it; an ideal example of less is more.The Japanese Steamed Rice came with Japanese pickles.  With the pickles, sautéed vegetables, and delicious steak, the bowl of fluffy rice disappeared into my belly in no time!XO's fried rice came with this awesome flattened rice cracker that had flecks of flavor-enhancing preserved vegetables in it, and he was very generous and shared half of the rice cracker with me!The Miso Soup came with chewy pieces of fries tofu and was delightful after the steak and rice courses.Homemade Dessert: The dessert was a Milk Pudding with Caramel Sauce.  The pudding was thick and smooth, and the caramel sauce paired beautifully with the strong milk flavor of the pudding.My Iced Coffee was served with milk and sugar syrup.  The mini milk jug was smiling at me while I poured milk into my coffee.The lunch sets at Teppanyaki Sessyu are fairly-priced, and the food quality was very good.  The restaurant is a good choice for teppanyaki in the Causeway Bay area. continue reading

契妹上週由美國回港過冬,因仍有時差問題,所以就約會小肥契哥週六午聚交收手信。可能太耐冇食亞洲菜,地點就揀去銅鑼灣o既「鐵板燒雪舟」食日式鐵板燒。步出升降機門,即見招牌下有個金魚池,睇黎老闆都應該幾信風水。魚池兩旁擺放有可愛o既飛驒牛及招財貓公仔擺設。接待處寫出店內所用之白米均為新潟米,未食已有信心o既保證。店子樓底高高,燈光柔和,裝潢簡潔雅致。兩口子被安排入座長長o既鐵板燒桌之一角,由於抽氣強勁,用餐後身上並無油煙味,衛生非常。埋位後,溫婉o既姐姐仔先送上熱茶及熱毛巾,體貼周到。席上餐具齊備,最搞笑就係墊上o既招財貓筷子座,懶洋洋得太可愛了!午市餐牌共有七頁之多。XO仔就點咗個「雪舟鉄板燒午餐」,主菜選美國西冷薄燒。點好菜,即交由幽默o既師傅哥哥喺二人面前燒煮午餐。沙律:第一道南瓜沙律意外地一啲都唔嚡口,微甜清新,甚為討好。小鉢:第二味小鉢為色澤鮮橙o既洋蔥粟米天婦羅。天婦羅甜而不溜,個人只係略嫌質感腍咗少少,唔夠香脆。茶碗蒸:原來蒸蛋係喺鐵板上蒸煮架,故上枱時連底碟都辣手過人。以鐵板蒸出o既蒸蛋十分幼嫩滑溜,而且清甜芬芳,輕巧美味。帶子.大蝦:海陸午餐中o既海鮮有兩款,分別為帶子同大蝦,師傅巧妙地喺碟邊淋上弧形調味汁,擺出一個笑哈哈,極富藝術感。碟中o既帶子外脆內嫩,鮮甜無比。蝦隻質感雖則好夠彈牙,不過個人覺得如果可以燒少兩分鐘就會更加爽潤。大廚唔講細佬真係唔知道燒至薄片o既蝦頭都可以食得。蝦頭薄片比薯片更薄,真係脆到連蝦殼都可以吞埋,實在精彩!美國西冷薄燒:餐牌上列明西冷薄燒有三件,為食客方便進食,師傅再一開為二,十分細心。西冷薄燒肉質軟腍,且肉汁豐盛,不用多點粗鹽已夠惹味,!炒野菜:炒野菜清新香脆,毫不油膩,簡單可口。蒜蓉炒飯.味噌湯.漬物:單尾細佬揀咗重口味o既蒜蓉炒飯。望住師傅喺面前炒製,炒時又再一次一開二喎,結果又一次估佢唔到喎。。。除咗有一碗蒜蓉炒飯之外,居然仲搭多塊蒜蓉炒飯!蒜蓉炒飯粒粒飽滿肥美,炒得夠乾身之餘,因混入咗蒜蓉及醃菜碎炒出,香口得黎多咗份脆口。塊蒜蓉炒飯薄片香脆入味,實屬驚喜之作!自家製甜品:是日甜品之自家製焦糖牛奶布丁白雪雪、滑嘟嘟,香甜輕巧。最後一杯香濃熱咖啡確真暖胃。飯前先見可愛o既招財貓筷子座,飯後再黎趣致o既奶杯,餐店老闆實在太有心思了!「鐵板燒雪舟」環境高雅衛生,服務稱心,午市海陸鐵板料理新鮮優質,價錢合理,不妨一試。 continue reading

好中意食鐵板燒, 可以一邊食, 一邊欣賞廚師烹調既過程。但係香港食鐵板燒往往冇過千蚊埋單都唔落得樓, 經同事介紹, 原來銅鑼灣有間鐵板燒係LUNCH時段, 只係三百幾蚊一位, 於是Book定位今日放假就同妹妹去食返個鐵板燒lunch。餐廳內所有座位均為鐵板位, 更設有一間獨立房間, 私隱度幾高。面前就係鐵板燒, 抽空設備很好, 唔會有太大油煙同埋焗促感。我地就揀左呢個鐵板燒套餐, 每人都可以自選主菜, 我就揀左牛柳。先上前菜: 沙律、茶碗蒸茶碗蒸中既蛋超滑, 面層既汁唔會太濃, 幾清甜, 京蔥增加香口。廚師處理鐵板燒既技巧好熟手, 非常貼心地將殼分離, 加入調味料調味…就連上碟佈排都似乎有心思。帶子、大蝦帶子表面稍為煎過, 入口香口....大蝦爽口鮮甜, 調味醬汁令味道更為惹味美國高級牛柳終於到主菜了! 近距離見到廚師既炒鐵板過程, 令我地係等待過程中增加 一點娛樂, 更加期待下一道菜。我order了牛柳為五成熟,  牛柳中心位出現嫩紅, 但血水未有滲出, 肉質很林不帶根, 沾少少海鹽更能帶出肉味。炒野菜野菜keep到爽脆口感, 有少少澀蒜蓉炒飯另一大開眼界就係呢個炒飯, 廚師將部分既飯係鐵板上壓平, 再慢慢煎成米片, 灑上芝麻同埋雪菜, 米片脆而又帶幾重既米味。蒜蓉味唔太突出, 反而雪菜味同埋芝麻味很重。送上味噌湯同埋漬物清新一下口腔最後有甜品作完美句號, 係焦糖布甸口感竟然似雪葩, 面層焦糖亦唔會太甜, 幾特別餐茶我就揀左凍奶茶, 茶、奶同糖水分開哂上, 可以自行調教味道。估唔到呢個鐵板燒lunch份量都會咁足, 夠哂飽!  continue reading

星期五的午餐想吃好一點  來到了公司附近的日本鐵板燒餐廳午市有套餐  雪舟鉄板燒午餐$318+10%  沙律+小菜 茶蒸碗  帶子+大蝦  美國高級牛柳/美國西冷薄燒/日本黑豚扒/法國產地鷄/銀鱈魚  蒜蓉炒飯  味噌湯  自家製甜品  咖啡/茶一個套餐有齊以上的食物  前菜是薯蓉及炸粟米洋蔥  薯蓉打至非常滑身  也很足料  粟米洋蔥剛炸起  外皮十分脆  但一點也不油師傅在客人面前燒煮食物  客人可以看到整個烹調過程吃主菜前先來一個茶蒸碗  上面用菇汁來調味  很滑   鮮蝦帶子  賣相已經很吸引  帶子煎至爽彈  不會過熟  火喉控制很重要鮮蝦很大一隻  自家製的汁令整碟菜加分加了$30轉澳洲和牛胸內膜  要了五成熟因和朋友SHARE兩餐吃  交換了半份  以下是半份份量和牛真的極嫩及軟腍  肉汁鎖在其中  吃下去根  不用任何醬汁已經非常美味 如果吃得濃味的可點少許旁邊的鹽調味 另一主菜是燒銀雪魚 以下是半分銀雪魚燒得剛剛好  外表煎至少許金黃色  魚油溶入魚肉中  十分香吃的時候基本上不用咬  差點入口即溶還有炒飯  上面的脆皮也是用飯弄成 不是太濃的蒜蓉味  有很微的甜味  飯炒成一粒一粒  好吃自家製的焦糖餅甜品  喜歡它不會過甜 continue reading
