I went there alone for lunch, all indoor tables are full so I was asked to have the table outside. It’s fine as the weather is good for dining outside. However, by the time I sat down, there was water dropping from the building nearby! I requested for another table, which is also outdoor, but the manager simply refused without addressing the problem! I cannot accept the environment and I left without having the food. My jacket was wet when I left!

After arriving at the restaurant, we were immediately told that we could only be seated outdoors as the indoor seating was fully booked for a private function.
This was a bit surprising as the restaurant made no effort to inform us this in advance, but we stayed for the meal as we had heard good comments about the food.

As we were seated, we ordered drinks, which were brought to us quite quickly and let the waiter know that we had booked through Eatigo and had a discount. Someone took our food soon after, though we were a bit concerned that the same waiter came out to confirm what our order was some 15 minutes after he initially spoke to us.

It took another 30 minutes before the first appetiser, the Scotch Egg, came out to us. After we finished that, the Peri Peri Scallops and the Pao Keema arrived. The food was a little too salty for my taste, but the flavours were good, and the portion sizes were fair.

As it turned out, the July heat was too much to be sitting outdoors, despite the restaurant providing us with a solitary fan for cooling. We asked a waitress if our Goan Prawn Curry and Garlic Naan had already been prepared, and if we could cancel it in case it wasn’t cooked yet. She informed us that it was already done (though she corrected herself and said that it was probably being cooked at that moment) so we asked for it to go instead and then for the bill. The bill came to us without the discount applied, though this was rectified without issue after we clarified.

All in all, the food was pretty decent, though I may have found it overpriced if I did not have the 30% discount. The environment was not particularly pleasant as the outdoor seating was essentially a wide alleyway, but we saw that the large group of guests inside were certainly enjoying themselves (and mingling without any apparent concern for Covid social distancing).

I would recommend the restaurant to others as the food was not bad, but would advise to check in advance that a table indoors is available before heading there. Also best not to be too hungry as the service can be a little slow on busy days as we found out!

We asked the guy at the beginning if there were any offers and he said no which was clearly a lie as there's 30% off if booked online.

Regardless, won't go back here. Will go back to Gaylord as it's multiples better.

Creative takes on some familiar Indian dishes that make the experience really fun. enterprising staff members that make the visit memorable.P.S; Just have one request though, I noticed the statue of the Lord Ganesha very very close to the bar. I don’t mean to overstep, but I really request them to place it somewhere it will be more appropriate (in my opinion).👍

We went to have lunch in this restaurant which is not even a year old. It's located on a side street on the ground floor. Ambience is nice. The menu is not that exhaustive but has sufficient for both non-veg and vegetarian ( my wife is vegetarian). We went to have lunch in this restaurant which is not even a year old. It's located on a side street on the ground floor. Ambience is nice. The menu is not that exhaustive but has sufficient for both non-veg and vegetarian ( my wife is vegetarian). As soon as we were seated, we were given the menu as well as shortly later complementary Masala papad. We ordered Chicken Gun powder, Paneer Gun powder and Chicken Chettinad tikka. The presentation of the gunpowder was unique, with a sauce inside a tiny pressure cooker. The gunpowder was yummy and not too spicy ( we surely would hv loved a little bit more punch). The chicken Chettinad disappointed with chicken little tough and chewy. In main course, we ordered sarson ka saag and makke ke royi, which came with tiny bits of gur too. It was awesome and presentation again great. My wife and son had garlic naans and Paneer Chettinad u, again very tasty. We had mango lassi which was just the right amount of sweet. We were offered complimentary besan ka halwa, soaked in ghee. A great way to end the excellent lunch. Thanks to Presley for the excellent service. Will surely come back to try more of their dishes!

困在香港快半年了可开放遥遥无期,不能旅游只能美食上得点安慰,这半年把常吃的菜系,西班牙,日料,意大利,泰国菜湘菜等等都吃了个遍,最近开始想吃点exotic的版本。在香港住很多年的美食家+老板推荐了在船街的gunpowder Indian restobar,吃完完全超预期,朋友都吃的很开心。去之前担心两点一是担心咖喱太重口,二是担心餐厅气氛不好这家餐厅环境很不错,味道也很好。前菜到主菜味道咸淡适中,可能厨师已经也来了香港很多年了,做出适应清淡的香港人的口味。最推荐的是他家的fushion的黑松露芝士馕饼(naan),配上各种羊/鸡/鱼的咖喱感觉口感得到了升华。一群怕胖的女生直接点了四次这个naan。这家餐厅很印度人和香港的本地人去的挺多的,感觉都是常客,应该有一群识货的忠实的粉丝,周天晚上一般餐厅比较空,而这家8点基本满了,感觉找到宝了,以后应该会一个月会去一次(太多了还是怕胖)
