Went this 2-month Ningpo restaurant over the weekend to give a second try after not so satisfactory visit of its sister shop in TST several months ago. I must say this restaurant chain still got some serious management issue. First, the restaurant was very under-staffed from kitchen chief to waiters. The waiting time for cold dishes were so long(usually they are pre-prepared and ready to serve in other restaurants) that we had to cancel them as some of hot dishes already arrived. even with hot

Went this 2-month Ningpo restaurant over the weekend to give a second try after not so satisfactory visit of its sister shop in TST several months ago. I must say this restaurant chain still got some serious management issue. First, the restaurant was very under-staffed from kitchen chief to waiters. The waiting time for cold dishes were so long(usually they are pre-prepared and ready to serve in other restaurants) that we had to cancel them as some of hot dishes already arrived. even with hot dishes, we need to remind them several times before they realize that the orders were missed or very delayed. so we spent good 2 hours to remind the waitress and manager over and over again about our orders which totally ruined the night. Their explaination was that some their chief were on holiday so the kitchen was too busy and helpless about the problem. But really they should have warned us the situation when we were ordering. However, the dishes did arrive were quite tasty and fresh. So the real issue is with the management. I will not likely revisit the shop until monthes later after they sort out their management issues.
