French cakes are always my favorite, and Mille-feuille is always a definite great treat of tea snack. I am really obsessed by its sort of crispness and buttery texture at the same time. However, the mille-feuille in this bakery are totally disappointed me. It's not good. The biscuits (can't even called as puff pastry) are board-liked rather than crispy. However, the mille-feuille in this bakery are totally disappointed me. It's not good. The biscuits (can't even called as puff pastry) are board-liked rather than crispy. The pastry were already soften, just like biting a few pieces of paper. Cakes between them are buttered by the overthicked cream. I couldn't even taste the chocolate layer inside that. The cakes were topped by some crushed nuts which weren't crunchy at all. After all, it just came out all the plain flavour of the cream, without any other flavors. Yet, the cream was soft and smooth, which is the only good things after all.
