Had dinner with my bf on Friday night. Not many people. We sat by the window. Good view.
We ordered a portobello stuffed with cheese and crabmeat (about $68). the mushroom is smaller than my expectation. but so much crabmeat and cheese. very delicious.
then, we have two main courses. one king prawn and scallop in lobster bisque with crusty bread (about $298) and one baked Australian lamb chop (about $198). the menu stated that we need to add $40 for one side dish. However, when we ordered, the waiter said that we can choose any two side dishes for each main course for free! as recommneded by the waiter, we had barley risotto and mushroom. i also chose grilled veg and cucumber "egg pie".
The first time to have food that occupied the whole table in a restrautn. four small dishes with side dish and two large plates for main course. and we each had a plate for enjoying the food.
the king prawn and scallop are very fresh and delicious. the lobster bisque was alos good.
the lamp chop is so so. not taste like the one we usually had. the shape was also near to a circle. hahaha.....cheaper food is like that.
for the side dishes, the barley risotto is interesting and chewy. other three are quite good.
there is 15% for AE card. but we dont' have.
very very full. it is not too expensive if side dishes are free. the view and service is good. but wihout free sides and AE card, i think there are better choices.

I have visited this hotels couple times since I am working just next door.... with the promotions keep on sending to me, I finally pick the Santa Lucia again for my friend's birthday as I know the manager Angie very well that she will definitely prepare me a cake free of charge
As usual, Angie prepared me the best table by the window side. This time is my buddy Faye's birthday and she's expecting a nice dinner with view. Though I don't think Santa Lucia is a 'surprise', venue wise, as we had lunch before but at least Faye never been there for night time, she was impressed by the view. She brought over her cousin as well. Not surprise that she found the hotel hidden but she was surprised of the open view when arriving there.
The food was well-presented, taste waste is good though I won't give a WOW! However, it's up to expectation with the price, about 300 for a main + appetizer I think is fair. I love the steak, never goes wrong and Faye ordered a wild salmon, it's tasty not like those frozen salmon, it's really fresh. For appetizer, we take the foie gras which looks very nice but too heavy for me. Faye took a soup she loves the quail egg inside its cute though!
Angie offered us a birthday cake with the name on it, and it's a 1lb cheese cake, we couldn't finish it and Angie kindly offered us to take it home (she said only for us as she thanked us going there always, no problem Angie, we will be there again because of you)
Went there with Hubby tonite. Cant wait to submit this food critics after coming home.

Too bad. The waitress arranged for a table sitting quite close to the bar and the size of the table is just so small, it was like an ordinary common restaurant, nothing comparable to fine dining. However, its price was not cheap or fair. This was bad service!
Hubby ordered a soup, a warm appertizer and a main course and i ordered a warm appertiser and a main course. We had a sparkling water @$70 per bottle as a start. This was not a cheap start, i supposed, but we were not offered the best service we should have. As a start, the table was not up to standard! There was anothe table side-by-side as ours, only just about 1 feet apart. There were two tables at the back which accommodated about five or six peoples. There was clearly a flaw about this restaurant that it did not charge minimum charge, so there was a table of three, only ordered two juices and sat there spoke loudly. I could hear every single word of each of them. Well, how could this restaurant managed to maintain its fine dining?? Could probably only establish a high-end 'Cha chan ting' with good view!
The bread basket was okay. There were five styles of bread including some italian style crisp and little baguette, but they were not hot at all.
The soup was a porcini with quail egg soup ($68). Hubby said it was okay, he didnt like the taste too much. The warm appertizer he ordered was a 豬頸肉三重奏 ($78), in fact it was pork with thai salad, stacked with deep fried wonton skins. The portion was quite large and the presentation was quite nice. Mine was a blue crab stuffed in portobello ($98). It was quite disappointing as the portobello was very small, it was just like the size of a sauce dish. Those portobello i normally see is like the size of a bread plate. The whole appertizer was only one such portobello was some green sauce and orange sauce, nothing else. Nothing else on the dish. So small portion. Really unbelievable. Taste-wise, it was just okay, the crab paste could not impress me as crab.
For main, Hubby ordered a smoked salmon pasta ($128) and i had a short rib with bone marrow and port sauce ($138). He said the pasta was alright. My short rib was quite nice, tendered braised and the port sauce was quite nice. The sauce went with the vegetable shreds was rather too heavy. i was quite thirty after having it.
There was only point which made my eyes opened. The woman who sat at the table next to us was wearing a slipper, yes, those slippers who would only wear to beach. Dont mix it with those with beautiful lady-like trimming, besides, they were worn out. I dont expect that this restaurant would impose serious dress code, but could not believe that they allow people wearing such terrible footwear to dinner. They should well aware of her misbehaviour and then arrange for her to sit somewhere 'NOT' near other customers, rather than sitting closely to us and immediately further ruined our mood for the dinner. After been to the toilet, then realised that the tables at the other side were so much better, with more space in between, and larger tables and also most important with better view. Too bad that we did not look before sitting, but we were not suppose to query the waitress arrangements at the begining.
Anyway, i think i would not let myself wasting my money on having similiar experiences again.
Besides, it was so dark that no photo was taken on food, but i think they were not worthwhile to recommend to anybody given their prices and services.

Tea for 4 (a saturday in july) - Staff: was patience as we switched tables for 3 times for the best view and took a long time to decide, they were happy to explain each promotion too. - Food: waiters recommended to have tea sets, we ordered a set for 2 person and it was decent for ard $130 per person originally
Dinner for 4 (a wednesday in august) - Staff: no dedicated staff to our table means when I told a lady my seafood platter is for maincourse, the male waiter served us as appetizer. Another thing is we asked for a birthday name written on the dessert but it was not served with the dessert at last, we had to ask for it again n they took it out separately, miscommunication among their staff apparently. They took away the bread basket for 3 times and my sister had to ask for it again n again. - Food: Decent for set dinner but the a la carte - Drinks: I asked for a bottle of moscato and it was out of stock, I was a little disappointed.
Tea for 2 (a wednesday in august) - Staff: can't seems to get the attention of the waiters as they don't walk by a lot. But they were very helpful to cater my need of having honey with my Latte instead of brown sugar
* One thing to note that is their A/C is tuned to a very low temperature, and all of my 3 visits end up freezing.
saturday was my boyfriend's birthday and i wanted to surprise him by bringing him to a place he has never been before, and when i saw that santa lucia geh environment gum ho i decided to give it a shot and i did not regret it at all!
we went to santa lucia for their seafood lunch buffet and the salads were so fresh and green! d seafood yao fresh yao ho ho mei, and it was just for 158 per person!! it is a semi buffet but it wasn't small, dou yao a lot to eat, and my boyfriend really likes seafood ar so it was perfect! $158 also includes pasta or steak ar, and the portions weren't small!! so much to eat! almost couldn't finish my ravioli because i ate too much appetizers but it was okay because my boyfriend helped me finish it...hehe desert-wise i liked the green tea cheesecake the best~! ho ho mei ahh!!
everyone there was very friendly too, and the service was okay, sometimes they couldn't see you so if you wanted to order some water, or tea, etc, it would need to take some time but they were really busy so i understand
the environment was also really pretty! the windows started from the ceiling and went down to the floor, and the sun was shining in, and ho perfect ah! i think that all couples should go to santa lucia because it is sooo romantic!
Attracted by the view of this rest. however the day i dine is a heavy rainly day. But still fine, cost, we are sitting in the room there, not much view can be seen actually!
We plan to order set dinner, but when we asking for a la carte, the waiter said " for sure a la carte is far better than set dinner, cause set dinner is cheaper $398 for 2pp, and the quality sure not good." Really so amazed for his honest..haha.
So, we order a la carte, have steak, fish, pork, seafood platter etc.. Other food are still alright, but the pork is really not acceptable. We just order 70% cooked, but it turns out is 100% or even over!. Desert looks good, but taste just so so.. According to the waiter said "a la carte is far better than set dinner", so I really doubt what will the set dinner taste like??
Also, they charge $70 for a bottle of water, without reminding you and keep on refilling your glass!! Good service!!
One more funny thing is the waiter loss our order list, and then need to recall our order again...I never face this situation before in a resturant located in a hotel.

They have a big buffet table, well, with a lot of very detailed appetizers. Now they are running a Tomato Promotion, I love Tomato and I am happy. I found a lot of good choices. However, my friend doesn't eat tomato complained about it! Well, I don't care, I was happy, it was my birthday ma ~ In fact, they have also Parma Ham, those big one looks very classy! Salad is fresh. Very five star look!
Main course: Yes, you need to put on another 20$ for a pasta, but it is good value still I'd say since it's quite big portion. However, if I have known it, I may just opt for the appetizer buffet + dessert as they have also pizza on the table which made me full already. I should not have ordered that pasta at the first place....
Dessert is nice, fresh food, cakes, hot pudding.... chocolates were super great too~
Since they told the staff that I had a birthday, I got a nice cake with a candle on it! I was happy! I think it's a nice touch. The staff said "Happy Birthday " to me with a Great smile when presenting the cake and warm touch! Overall service was attentive.... some staff looks young but they are attentive and polite enough.... always somebody around that's all I need.
We went to lunch but ended up with great disappointment. If their lunch set is $ 138 per person with semi buffet, i will pass it. BUT the price was raised !!! Now, their menu is like this: $ 138 salad bar and dessert buffet; NO drinks included. Come on !! how much is a tea / coffee??? For every main course, you have to add at least $+ 20 for pasta; $ 100 for sandwiches; $ 200 for steak. + extra 10% service charge
Salad bar: Caeser salad, shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon...others are not worth to mention. e.g. fried mushroom, tomato.
We had ravioli and linguine for main course. Both are Below standard for a hotel restaurant.
Dessert buffet: bread pudding, blueberry cheesecake, and mango pudding.
Service: this is not a big hotel, all staffs are NOT well trained, ( i can say not even ready to work) They chatted on their own during work.
Two person $ 350 it's $ 350 !!!!!! I would had spent the $$ at COVA for more decent food.
頭盤是seared pork neck trio with green mango salad,小弟簡單稱之為泰式豬頸肉沙律。以舖成兩層的豬頸肉片加上炸雲吞皮組成,再以切成絲的紅青椒及乾葱舖面。伴吃的汁帶着甜酸味,吃後胃口大開;可能是下了點黑胡椒的關係,吃落帶有少許微辣,胃口更因而進一步拓闊了;豬頸肉片得薄薄的,很彈牙爽口,出色.....

Birthday Dinner

鹹香而不脆的腰果小吃
令人耗盡力量的一天,但時間還會繼續下去,晚上還有飯要吃。來到尖沙咀,看看手錶,有大半小時的空檔,只想找風景好一點的地方坐坐,心想未上過來這裡,就來一次。
這是一個我不會來吃東西的地方,來喝一杯還可以。選了個習角的座位,看著鯉魚門,天時雖然陰陰的,但坐在靠窗的沙發椅,居高臨下,本應是可以令人心曠神怡的。
酒牌選擇不算很多,雞尾酒不太吸引,也不如又來杯威士忌,要了Glenlivet的12年,加冰。
比較起其他幾個品牌的「Glen-xx」,我覺得Glenlivet是個性最鮮明的,麥味香,酒味重,啖起來帶點蜜糖甜,總覺得是比較適合男士多一點的。
下酒小吃是一小碗腰果,味道鹹香而不太脆,沒有什麼可吃之道。
餐廳只得我一個客人,也正好讓我好好的坐到夠鐘才走。
埋單88蚊,找錢的時候還將12蚊打散了才給客人的,差一點忘記了自己是身處酒店頂層的酒吧。所以個總評,真的是不能給笑面。

一早看中坐落38/F、鳥瞰維港景致的Santa Lucia,適逢餐廳7月份推出4 course Deluxe Pacific Rim雙人晚餐,一於就與愛海鮮的龍來浪漫一番。餐廳以紅啡色為主調,格調優雅、氣氛舒適;是晚被安排坐貼窗的海景圓檯,環境一欄絕對是滿分。以此環境格調,餐單收費卻不算貴,部分意粉價位低於$100,不過選擇不算多,最終還是揀了雙人海鮮晚餐。

來到頭盤
海蝦墨魚麵-面層甜蝦下,中層的墨魚麵口感細膩彈牙、十分特別;而墊底的蛋層更是相當甜美,是數款小食中最有驚喜的!
藍蟹牛油果燒賣-其實更似是意大利雲吞的質感,外皮軟滑、餡料鮮美細膩,也不錯的。
香辣阿拉斯三文魚餅-類似蟹餅的做法與賣相,但味道始終還是蟹餅吸引好多。
整體來說,這個頭盤水準也算滿意,其實伴碟蕃茄也裝飾得漂亮悅目又清甜。

由於餐廳較凍又不設披肩,是晚飲了多杯熱水;侍應密密添水值得加分,唯獨是每次上菜都不講菜名可以改善一下。

1. seafood combo (for 2 ppl) $399
其實就係海鮮拼盤, 可以揀生 OR 熟....我地揀左熟食, 有半隻龍蝦, 係grill 既,幾新鮮,幾好味. 兩隻鮑魚, 麻麻地, 冇味. 兩隻帶子, 都係普通料.. 兩隻螺,有海水味, 幾爽口. 一杯阿拉斯加蟹腳, 唔係啖啖肉, 因為係蟹腳仔. 最正既都係隻焗蠔...真係好好好好味. .
2. mille-feuille $98
好精緻, 不過味道麻麻,冇咩驚喜前菜. 有牛油果配蟹肉, 阿拉斯加蟹配果凍...中間伴有沙律.
3. Lychee delight $70
不知所謂, 佢真係夠膽收$70杯, 2粒lychee加d糖水...勁呃錢..
4. Strawberry Candi $70
呢杯都係麻麻啦...不值一提...
overall,呢間野食物水準都係一般,只係環境搭夠. . 如果唔係有特別平既promotion 都唔會再黎. .

Bad food, Bad service.... all are bad
If their lunch set is $ 138 per person with semi buffet, i will pass it. BUT the price was raised !!!
Now, their menu is like this: $ 138 salad bar and dessert buffet; NO drinks included.
Come on !! how much is a tea / coffee??? For every main course, you have to add at least $+ 20 for pasta; $ 100 for sandwiches; $ 200 for steak.
Salad bar: Caeser salad, shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon...others are not worth to mention. e.g. fried mushroom, tomato.
We had ravioli and linguine for main course. Both are Below standard for a hotel restaurant.
Dessert buffet: bread pudding, blueberry cheesecake, and mango pudding.
Service: this is not a big hotel, all staffs are NOT well trained, ( i can say not even ready to work) They chatted on their own during work.
Two person $ 350 it's $ 350 !!!!!!

佢哋提供兒童遊戲室(有電視、食物(為兒童而設) & 橙汁,我認為呢嗰設施幾好,值得讚。
佢哋自助午餐有任飲香檳,香檳都幾好飲。
冷盤: 有三文魚、八爪魚、長腳蟹、豪、翡翠螺及青口。 三文鱼OK,但長腳蟹無蟹味。
熱盤: 羊扒、考雞卷、煎魚柳、雜菜、白汁火腿意粉、煎蝦,除咗魚柳 & 蝦鞋咗(可能老火咗),其它都OK。
頭盤: 有PARMA HAM、蝦沙律、薯蓉球多士。 味道OK
湯: 海洋湯。 味道唔得,完全無鮮味 & 好腥。
甜品: 選擇太少,大約得4-7樣(蛋糕+布甸),生果(有士多啤梨、橙、蜜瓜、火龍果..),只食了士多啤梨、橙超酸。 佢哋提供咗3樣曲其餅,咬落比較鬆散。
服務態度: 唔錯都幾NICE
希望佢哋可以留意下,提供多少少款式,始終HKD388.00/位,無乜款式好難吸引客人。

景觀一流、食物還可以.....
訂位時聲明要生window seat,不然便不來也罷了。由於是平日關係,侍者不僅可以安排到一個近窗的梳化位,而且還是擁有一個可直接對着滙展維港景用餐的有利位置,景觀可說是一流
除了景觀之外,另一賣點自然是那不同形式的優惠。是夜的selling point是那個價值三百多大洋的二人餐,頭盤、湯、主菜及甜品樣樣有齊,都不可謂不抵吃了。當然更值一試的是這兒的semi lunch buffet,只賣一百多大洋一個人,在這個地段來講,真的是有點匪夷所思了
開動之前先來杯drinks來warm-up一下。自己叫的berries paradise及太太的tomato juice同是酸咪咪之作,用來作為"開胃前飲"就最合道了
麵包籃上有的是一系列意法式典型之作如grissini、foccacia等,還有一些較特別的如滲上大量芝蔴的chips及亞蔴籽的甜包等。包全部都是烘得熱熱的,伴着那個自製的sundried tomato sauce及橄欖油吃,轉眼便將所有東西掃清光了
頭盤是seared pork neck trio with green mango salad,小弟簡單稱之為泰式豬頸肉沙律。以舖成兩層的豬頸肉片加上炸雲吞皮組成,再以切成絲的紅青椒及乾葱舖面。伴吃的汁帶着甜酸味,吃後胃口大開
湯是四平八穩的porcini mushroom soup。味不算很濃,牛肝菌之味挺香,面頭的泡沫也打得細滑。四平八穩之作.....
主菜要了一"紅"加一"白" ---- 為了遷就不能吃太生東西的太太,"紅"的那份Braised boneless beef short rib是破天荒(至少是對小弟而言)地要了well-done的。縱然如此,但肉吃落是一點也不韌,而且肉質還夠爽身
"白"的所指自然是魚類了。太太這份煎三文雖同是well-done,但肉質卻沒有想像的過嚡,而且皮亦夠脆口,論水準已是合格有餘了。可以想想若果是要了medium well的火喉,肉便更嫩滑得多
甜品亦是很例牌的creme brulee with pear parfait & walnut。賣相是漂亮的,燉蛋也是夠滑,不過總覺味道似panna cotta多過creme brulee
