Jim Chai Kee Noodle is not just a typical HK style noodle restaurant. Instead of the HK staple beef brisket, they offer only three types of noodle ingredients - shrimp wonton, dace fish ball and beef slices. Each portion of wonton or fish ball includes two huge pieces. Shrimp wonton was filled with crunchy shrimps and minced pork with a balanced amount of fat. Silky wonton skin. The beef slices had been tenderized in advance. Smooth texture. Pretty thick cut.I must say their dace fish ball was on

I must say their dace fish ball was one of the best I've tried. I usually find boiled dace fishy but this one was not the case. Very bouncy and delicately flavored. So good that I had to order the deep-fried version as well, which was served with drunken clam sauce with huge clams inside.

The soup was made with mainly dried flounder. Flavorful but not MSG at all. Egg noodles had a firm bite. Had to finish the noodles asap to enjoy it at its best.
