WWF-Hong Kong X OpenSnap Sustainable Seafood Photo Competition

There is no doubt that Hong Kong people love seafood. In 2011, Hong Kong as a whole consumed 505,553 tonnes of seafood; the species involved were highly diverse and came from over 170 countries and regions. Unfortunately, many of these species were either unsustainably farmed or harvested. To help encourage consumers to choose sustainable seafood, protect the world’s oceans and ensure that marine resources are available to future generations, WWF-Hong Kong will be once again holding Sustainable Seafood Week – taking place this year between 27 June and 5 July.

As part of Sustainable Seafood Week, we are presenting an exciting photo competition – simply share your love for the ocean and win! By capturing a snap of an ocean friendly dish ordered in any of Sustainable Seafood Week’s participating restaurants, adding the #wwfhk and #SSW2015 tags in the “Add Tags” feature and sharing your ocean friendly dining experience on OpenSnap and other social media apps, you could win a coupon worth HKD1,000 to the JW Marriott Man Ho Chinese Restaurant, or a dinner buffet for two at Congress Plus at the HKCEC, along with other great Panda prizes!

Terms and Conditions :
  1. The campaign period will be between 27 June and 5 July 2015.
  2. OpenRice members must add the tags #wwfhk and #SSW2015 when uploading the photos onto the OpenSnap app in order to be eligible to win prizes.
  3. All participants must be members of OpenRice. Non-members must register with OpenRice before entering the campaign.
  4. Winners of the campaign will be selected by WWF-Hong Kong and OpenRice, according to the following criteria:
    1.Content and quality of the sharing and sustainable seafood messages
    2.Ability to highlight the attractiveness of the dish
  5. All photos need to be submitted, approved and published on OpenRice.com during the given campaign period in order to be eligible. Photos must not contain insulting, defamatory, or misleading content and/or foul language. OpenRice reserves the right to approve or reject any photo submissions.
  6. Participants should provide accurate information for both notification and prize redemption. If the information provided is inaccurate, OpenRice reserves the right to deny or revoke the prize.
  7. Each participant may submit more than one photo, but an individual can only win once.
  8. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for any other products.
  9. Winners will be announced on 26 July on the OpenRice and WWF-Hong Kong Facebook pages.
  10. Winners must provide a valid correspondence address upon receiving their winner’s notification email. Prizes will be posted to the registered address. Prizes will not be delivered again if they are lost or in the event of any postal error.
  11. WWF-Hong Kong and OpenRice will not be responsible for any obligations or liabilities in relation to the products or services provided by the respective product or service providers.
  12. Employees of WWF-Hong Kong and OpenRice and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the competition.
  13. In the event of any disputes, WWF-Hong Kong and OpenRice reserve the right of final decision.
  14. WWF-Hong Kong and OpenRice reserve the right to amend or cancel any of the above terms and conditions without prior notice.
