We started off with the fried codfish cakes which were made from potatos and Bacalhau(Portugese salted codfish) which was light and fluffy in the centre and golden on the outside. However the highlight of the meal was deifnitely the steak in cream sauce. The steak was a tad bit too tough but all was forgiven after a taste of that wonderful rich creamy sauce(yet also not too heavy) which went beuatifully with the steak and fries. The steak was a tad bit too tough but all was forgiven after a taste of that wonderful rich creamy sauce(yet also not too heavy) which went beuatifully with the steak and fries. We also ordered the sardines and I was very surprised by the generous portions. We got 3 plump sardines around 18 to 20cm in length which had a lovely crispy skin and juicy flesh which went really well with the lemon and potatos. We also ordered the African chicken which had a nice lightly spicy sauce but the chicken was definitely overcooked. Overall, a worthwhile dining experience.
