今日星期六又係同男朋友出去嘆一個BRUNCH嘅時候啦, 今日我哋去咗雲咸街搵吓新嘢食, 見到呢一間鋪頭咁多人, 而對面嘅鋪頭就冷清清, 無謂搏啦, 就去間多人架啦!入到黎差唔多全部都係外國人, 見到個Menu都係一啲Standard 野, 我就叫咗個Steak, 男朋友就叫咗個話Wagyu Breakfast + 烤雞. 餐廳裝修有屋企FEEL, 感覺幾WARM, 但放左好多枱, 有少少迫其實BRUNCH都好難會有D咩驚喜, 呢度既BRUNCH個樣就合乎預期, 主打牛扒就肉質一般, 不是太有牛味, 整個早餐最愛竟然係個車厘串茄, 熟度岩岩好, 夠鮮夠JUICY, 所以整體上麻麻地男友的WAGYU BREAKFAST, BEACON有D燶喎, 其他麵包, 蛋, 薯仔, 茄汁豆都係STANDARD.男友要KEEP住要攝取蛋白質既關係就另外叫左塊雞扒, 都GRILL得OK, 唔算乾. 最敗筆既係我杯水飲飲下發現有煙灰.... 完本都覺得呢間野無乜特別, 但加埋呢樣就真係唔使再黎了....仲要唔係平架喎...無下次!

來到中環食lunch ,行過蘭桂坊都見到四周都有不少特色的餐廳及酒吧,今天我來到環境、裝潢都好有優雅的「Wagyu」,每張枱都鋪上白色的枱布,還有沙發座位,舒適的環境中又可以從落地玻璃窗中下外面的街景,而且燈火通明,此餐廳的客人都是以外國人為主,店員及店中的餐牌都是以英文為主,好似身於外國之中,環境寧靜又舒適。  平日供應的Set Lunch 會在星期一至五都有,時間由12pm 到下午4時,分別有兩個價錢可以選擇,分別是...... starter& main course , plus either dessert or drink ($148) 3 courses , including a coffee, tea or soft drink (add $50 for glass of wine , beer or prosecco)$168那麼我沒有選擇full lunch set ($168),不想食得太full,最後我選擇了3個course 的set lunch ($148),點好餐後,waitress 會送上一籃四款的麵包配香草牛油,也主動奉上橄欖油及黑醋,有白麵包及麥

那麼我沒有選擇full lunch set ($168),不想食得太full,最後我選擇了3個course 的set lunch ($148),點好餐後,waitress 會送上一籃四款的麵包配香草牛油,也主動奉上橄欖油及黑醋,有白麵包及麥麵包,可是麵包凍冰冰,沒有烤熱過。

方面我選擇了chef's soup of the day,是日餐湯是Cream of seafood soup,湯味都好鮮味而且都滑溜,可是稠度晤夠濃郁,忌廉湯上有一粒蒜蓉包粒,更增添香惹味道。

方面有5款可以選擇,而我選擇了Chicken madras curry(coconut rice, coriander&garlic naan , raita and mango chutney)咖喱有中和的香辣,可是雞肉不太入味,雞肉較啖口,蒜蓉naan 有少少脆,可是又乾又實,好難咬嚼。
可讚是椰子飯都有些椰香味,有煙韌咬口的口感,配上咖喱共食都不錯。

服務方面,某些店員的服務真是不夠體貼,食完主菜後,都要我主動同店員講先上甜品,追完甜品order又漏了一球雪糕,不過有另一位男店員就好有效率的服務,主動幫的跟進,值得一讚。食物水準欠了誠意,上枱的麵包凍冰冰,沒有一絲微暖,還有其他食物水準真是一般,希望下次再來可以再吃到更好更有質素的食物。

醬燒豬肋骨,好大份呀!勁多肉,薯條又正,又多!超值呀完全!!👍👍👍味道濃郁,帶點甜甜酸酸的燒烤醬,令豬肋骨的油膩感減少了!(旁邊三條青色既係荀,大條但嫩,一點渣也沒有👍)

When the Big Boy recently visited us in Hong Kong, he wanted to have an "Aussie breakfast". After living in Taiwan for so long, he was looking forward to tucking into some bacon and eggs, something that you would find in any suburban bistro in Australia, but which is more difficult to find in Asia. With its bustling expat culture, there are a lot of places in Hong Kong set up to attract that Western palate, so we did a little bit of research and arranged to have an early start on the Saturday morning.

The most difficult part about finding a breakfast spot in Hong Kong is finding somewhere that opens at a time that is more in line with breakfast rather than brunch. Not being the party animals that we used to be, breakfast for us is usually consumed before 9am, but many places in Hong Kong don't open until later, catering more to the 'bleary-eyed' crowd. We did, however, manage to find Wagyu Lounge, which is open for we early risers, but also doubles as a bar for later in the day. So we hoofed it across the HK zoo to above Lan Kwai Fong where Wagyu was ready for our business.

Wagyu Lounge is one of the many restaurants operated by the Castelo Group in Hong Kong, with the group also having restaurants in Vietnam. Locals will recognise names such as Jaspa's, Pepperoni's in Sai Kung, High Street Grill, KTown Grill, Wilburs, and Piccolo's. The Castelo Group's philosophy is to offer exceptional food quality and impeccable service and friendly environment, and their restaurants are popular with the expat crowd. Wagyu Lounge is no exception, with a breakfast menu that was right out of suburban Australia.

Of course the first thing I ordered was coffee - I'd been awake for over an hour so this was well and truly overdue. When it arrived in a tall glass, I could have sworn I was back in Australia, but about 10 years ago (or at the Coffee Club). Fortunately the coffee was good, so that made up for the presentation! The Big Boy ordered an Americano, which came in a more acceptable cup. FMUS was able to order a smoothie, and went for the mixed berry version. This looked more like a cocktail than a smoothie, with a couple of raspberries on a toothpick on the top, but at least it tasted good.

The Big Boy got his breakfast wish, and was able to order eggs benedict, with salmon. Strangely it was served with potato and arugula, but it didn't seem to bother The Big Boy, who was just happy that he could eat some good eggs bene. The eggs were not overcooked, with the yolk still runny when he cut into them. The hollandaise sauce was also well done, with a couple of capers on top as a nod to the salmon underneath.

FMUS of course had to try the bacon and eggs, and decided to go with the Wagyu Lounge Big Breakfast, but minus the baked beans. He's learned the hard way that sometimes it's just easier (and cheaper) to order the big breakfasts that you can find at most places, and take off some items, rather than order eggs with a bunch of extras. He was happy with his eggs, which were light and fluffy and the bacon, which was just about perfect (with little burnt bits around the edges - yum). Unusually for HK, there were also nicely seasoned mushrooms - it was a good example of a more traditional Aussie breakfast.

Having had my coffee requirements met, I decided that something sweet was in order. The 3 stack of pancakes certainly fit the bill, and they were served with maple syrup and ice-cream, with a side of berries and banana. My pet peeve when ordering pancakes is that you never get enough maple syrup - by the time you get to close to the end of the pancakes, the syrup has been absorbed and the remaining pancakes become a little dry. Yet again there was not enough syrup at the Wagyu Lounge, but the pancakes were light and not too dry, which helped when I ran out of syrup.

We were seated near the front, with a view out towards the remnants of the night before. While watching the cleaners sweep up discarded beer bottles and pile up more and more garbage bags full of detritus from the clubs across the street is not as pleasant as say having breakfast on the waterfront, the food and service were good enough that you forgot you were in the party zone.

The fit out includes a lot of booths on the wall, good for either nursing a hangover, or relaxing with a few drinks. We did notice a few Western tourists and locals wander in, clearly early risers like us trying to find a decent breakfast in Central early on a Saturday morning. Wagyu Lounge offers enough variety on its breakfast menu (and, most importantly, decent coffee) to make it worthwhile to head up into Lan Kwai Fong for the morning after the night before.

Wagyu became one of my favorite place for lunch. Set lunch prices at $165 plus 10% service charge, and definitely it's worth for money for having nice food in a pretty decent environment.Lunch starts with warm bread served with vinegar and olive oil:It has 3 choices of appetizer. Today I chose Smoked Salmon and Beetroot Bruschetta. Love the tastes of smoked salmon, it's not too fatty and goes well with the vinegar and toast. Thge beetroot is juicy as expected. Nice choice.My friend chose Vietnam

It has 3 choices of appetizer. Today I chose Smoked Salmon and Beetroot Bruschetta. Love the tastes of smoked salmon, it's not too fatty and goes well with the vinegar and toast. Thge beetroot is juicy as expected. Nice choice.

My friend chose Vietnamese salad. It's with topping of chopped peanuts and uses vinegar to make the dressing. Tastes sweet and sour, and good as an appetizer.

Then we moved to the main dish. Flame Grilled N.Z. Rib Eye is the signature dish here (same as the restaurant name). Normally I will have this for my choice (but not today). The beef tastes good in medium with the fragrance of char grilled.

Two choices of dessert today. Almond Praline Choux Pastry - a nice traditional western dessert. There's cream inside and overall it tastes not too sweet, but with a very smoothy texture. Nice presentation too.

Anoher choice is Vanilla Panna Cotta with mixed berries. I didn't tastes it but my friends said it's nice and the taste of berries balanced the sweetness in a good way.

印象中已是第三次來「Wagyu」,叫得做「和牛餐廳」,牛當然是主打。久別重逢,這天我們七人來了這裏吃午餐。前菜可選「Maryland Crab Cake」,「Honey Fig & Goat Cheese Salad」或「Asparagus Soup」。上次來吃蟹餅蟹肉蠻多,但失敗之處是煎得不夠香口,而且一切開就碎散了,不能整件餅狀放入口,今次就沒有這個問題,抵讚。我自己十分喜歡吃新鮮的無花果,而且也不是經常可以吃到,沙律整體十分清新。露荀湯我則試了一小匙,感覺有點過鹹。主菜的選擇倒甚多,有五、六款,而且包前菜甜品,在中環區其實幾抵吃。六分之七的我們都選擇了「Flamed Grilled N.Z. 我自己十分喜歡吃新鮮的無花果,而且也不是經常可以吃到,沙律整體十分清新。露荀湯我則試了一小匙,感覺有點過鹹。

主菜的選擇倒甚多,有五、六款,而且包前菜甜品,在中環區其實幾抵吃。六分之七的我們都選擇了「Flamed Grilled N.Z. Hanger Steak」$165

牛肉點了 medium,今次生熟度剛剛好,雖然不是和牛,肉質卻不遜,外面煎得焦香,裏面肉質軟而肉味濃,要特別一讚炸薯條,是炸得非常香脆!

另外因為聖誕節就快來臨,點了一份「Traditional Christmas Turkey Platter」$265 (不包括頭盤及甜品)

一大盤上來最好大家分享!有火雞肉、厚切火腿片、煙肉香腸卷、肉餅、傳統炸甜蕃薯、蔬菜等等,當然還有傳統伴火雞吃的 cranberry jam。

火雞肉不鞋,炸甜蕃薯甜美,而且一大碟分享,感覺很有聖誕氣氛!

最後甜點有「Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice-cream 」,整體用餐感覺不錯,難怪當日見到是全場滿座。

一入去想食個沙津菜,環境光暗唔錯。沙津係幾好,可惜啲garlic bread就超硬!硬到可以掟死人。。。waitress d 英文都聽唔到佢講咩,啲字攬埋一舊講嘢又細聲,音樂又太大聲,笑容欠缺。令經驗大打折扣。

Not a bad but by no means the best place to grab breakfast in that area. Steaks are not great and a little overprice for what they are. Portion sizes are a little small as well. Service is pretty decent, nice atmosphere, clean. Good option for breakast if you're tired of your regular spot and want a change.

        朋友飞机到港已经九点多了,所以我们十点才准备吃晚餐,想着这个时间很多餐厅都关门了,于是想到兰桂坊区很多吧都有吃的,就来到中环逛。逛到WAGYU时,见还有人在用餐。平时经常路过也看到晚餐时段几乎都是满座,也曾有朋友告诉我说它家不错,于是决定试试。一进餐厅,已经有人很热情的来招待,餐厅环境也很好,有情调。        来到WAGYU当然要试试这里的牛肉。选择了牛排,上来的时候被它分量吓到,心想最多只能吃完一半,但是试了后味道确实不错,再加上各种酱沾着吃,很满足味蕾的需要,最后经不知不觉将整块全部消灭

Cha Cha Char,Pizza Margherita,topped with Tender Wagyu Beef Strips,Bundy Rum Glazed Onions & Cherry Tomatoes,$190。Margherita薄餅上放滿了不少和牛肉粒、Rum酒醃製過的洋蔥及車厘茄,賣相已經十分吸引。聞下充滿肉香,誘人萬分。薄餅餅底薄而香脆,麵粉香味雖不重,但跟著挺有咬口的牛肉,香濃的肉味跟著芝香及洋蔥的甜味,混起來就實在太美味。

Fettuccini Marinara,Fettuccini Pasta tossed with a Medley of Fresh Seafood,in a Lightly Spiced Tomato Sauce,Topped with Capers and Shaved Parmesan,$195。朋友點了一客海鮮意粉,闊條麵煮得有點腍,但麵條掛滿蕃茄醬汁,酸酸的,帶點辣,味道不錯。配料亦有不少,有蝦,魚肉、帶子等等,也令人吃得滿足。

最後,也來一客甜品,Antipodean Pavlova,$70,最後,也來一客甜品,Antipodean Pavlova,$70,焗蛋白甜餅上面放上水果及鋪滿熱情果醬,顏色鮮艷,味道不算太甜,加上果醬酸酸的,很合個人口味。

不知大家有否想過這樣的問題,和牛本就是指日本的牛,何解會有澳洲和牛呢?聞說從前澳洲的生畜入口規管就很嚴謹,可能是和牛質優,所以才破例被引入到澳洲繁殖飼養,亦成為了今天澳洲的名產之一。中環雲咸街以和牛為名的Wagyu是曾在澳洲生活十餘年的朋友的開飯飯堂之一,她經常向我們推介某些菜式,所以我們便約好了一同去試試。餐前先來點麵包,不怎麼好吃,但有蒜蓉牛油和橄欖油及醋伴著,用來打發等餐的時間亦好。Linguini Vongole ($160)滿佈新鮮蜆肉,佐以白酒、橄欖油、香蒜和辣椒碎調味,微辛香氣迫人,酒味亦突出。Linguini條條分明,剛好是al dente的口感,很不俗。Fettuccine Salmon ($165),Fettuccine 被白汁糾纏著,每口盡是忌廉。新鮮三文魚沒絲毫腥臭,跟醬汁煮在一塊之後香而不膩,也不錯。經理給我推薦的Steak Sandwich ‘Supremo’ ($170),烘得暖脆的土耳其麵包夾著烤和牛扒、 煙肉生菜、蕃茄和紅蔥。朋友說土耳其麵包在澳洲隨處可找到,這次頭一回嚐便愛上。牛扒選了三成熟,嫩又帶肉甜。煙肉鹹香,不會太薄太乾。伴碟還有炸得不酒膩的肥

經理給我推薦的Steak Sandwich ‘Supremo’ ($170),烘得暖脆的土耳其麵包夾著烤和牛扒、 煙肉生菜、蕃茄和紅蔥。朋友說土耳其麵包在澳洲隨處可找到,這次頭一回嚐便愛上。牛扒選了三成熟,嫩又帶肉甜。煙肉鹹香,不會太薄太乾。伴碟還有炸得不酒膩的肥薯條和清爽沙律,難怪是推薦之一。

之前看過朋友的照片便已印象難忘的薄餅Cha Cha Char ($180),Margherita上放滿了和牛粒、車厘茄和蘸上了澳洲bundy rum酒的洋蔥,光是牛肉陣勢就足夠震懾全桌。入口薄餅底薄脆,肉香嫩,是不嗜肉也難以抗拒的美味,可想言之牛魔王一族會有怎樣的反應。

The Angry Prawn ($245) 同是以Margherita作底,上頭放了沾過辣椒油的大蝦球、火箭菜和parmesan芝士片。咬下比Cha Cha Char乾脆,味道沒想像中的香濃,蝦肉算是爽彈,只是沒Cha Cha Char叫人滿足。

Mighty Mussels ($170),店的青口是從紐西蘭入口的,也許不是當造時候,肉又小又扁。湯汁直接喝的話略嫌稍鹹,也不知為何會加入迷迭香,用伴上的蒜蓉包及幼身炸薯條蘸湯汁吃更為佳。

突然好想吃千層麵,就點了一客Wagyu Bushies’ Lasagna ($170)。面是一層鹹脆芝士白汁層,挖掘底下就是多得驚人的慢煮和牛肉醬,幾乎都吃不到多少千層麵。肉醬口感雖好但偏鹹,茄汁味太薄弱,加上表面的芝士白汁層便鹹上加鹹,完全不是我所期待的千層麵。

最後少不了甜品時間。Death By Chocolate ($80) 由朱古力布朗尼、朱古力雪糕、朱古力醬、新鮮士多啤梨及忌廉所組,不論從哪一方切入,吃下都是濃郁的朱古力味,是很難想像會有人討厭的一道甜品

朋友每次來都要點的Antipodean Pavlova ($70)上來便已覺色彩鮮艷。新鮮水果、熱情果醬及帶雲呢嗱籽的雲呢嗱雪糕,伴著中間軟綿外層鬆脆的蛋白甜餅,味道較甜但又令人拒絕不了,實在神奇,是數款甜品中最叫我回味的。

朋友曾踩雷點過Apple Crumble ($70),我們不信邪,以「吃澳洲菜怎可不吃Apple Crumble」為由讓她再陪我們踩一次雷。上來時大家都看不出它是Apple Crumble,上面澆滿雲呢嗱醬和紅莓汁。下方的青蘋果味道其實煮得還好,玉桂香不過份。可惜敗在金寶粒,全都是濕濕的,令人失望。

New York Cheesecake ($70)也是另一個雷,芝士層不夠香濃綿實,餅底不香不脆,更要帶一種怪怪雪櫃味,比Apple Crumble更不濟。

雖然不是每一道食物都很完美,但當中不乏出色的,而且以份量、價錢及地理位置來判斷,這裡亦不算很貴。會為了意麵、和牛薄餅、三文治和Pavlova再回來的。

個fd返開中環,成日話佢附近d野好食,証話要帶我去試下。於是去左呢間佢老細既飯堂同佢成公司同事專飲coffee既地方。間餐廳叫wagyu..和牛??不過我地唔係為左和牛去食..而係為左佢個pizza。當然要嗌我個fd不斷推薦既Pizza : Cha Cha Char & Waygu Maximo一次有兩個口味,滿足到我地呢d貪心既人..一次試晒唔同既野兩款口味都好好食~~用料充足,份量又多,唔係pizza hut既standard pizza另一款係flaming chicken fajitas,個味我都ok,不過最欣賞既係佢d side dish同d sauce,食法好似食北京填鴨咁,有塊薄薄既餅皮將d餡料包埋去食,有3隻唔同既sauce,分別有guacamole, sour cream 同 salsa and jalapenos,最鐘意係佢個sour cream,其次係salsa and jalapenos,最後係guacamole,不過總括3隻sauce都好match。

Went for lunch with 3 pretty ladies on Thursday, the place is packed, Thank god I have booked.We order their sate meal ( 3 course for HKD140 +10) We all ordered Prawn , Avocado and Grapefruit salad with a sweet chili dressing. I found it slightly sour, but my friends all liked it very much. The ingredient are very fresh and the portion is very generous.For main, we all ordered the steak ( medium rare), they cooked it perfectly, very delicious. We order their sate meal ( 3 course for HKD140 +10) We all ordered Prawn , Avocado and Grapefruit salad with a sweet chili dressing. I found it slightly sour, but my friends all liked it very much. The ingredient are very fresh and the portion is very generous.

For main, we all ordered the steak ( medium rare), they cooked it perfectly, very delicious. I don't usually finish my meal but I finish the whole thing. The steak is around 2 inches thick and palm size so definitely can fill you up.

Desert is chocolate mousse with coffee, again very good. both goes together very well. Happy all round.

Although I usually would say HKD140 for a set lunch is quite pricey, but the quality of the food is definitely worth it.

ok, l booked table for 6 at 7pm, we came a bit early at 650pm, it was fine the table is not ready yet, but i dont understand why we have to waited until 715pm to sit while there were at least 5 empty tables...??? when we all sit down, no service at all....no menu, no drink list, no bread, and no water.....but we saw another table just arrive and service in 2 mins with all things we need....what the...??ok, fine, famous restaurant in LKF area, maybe the foods will suprise us....and we ordered th

Grilled Chicken Salad --- taste ok, not bad compare with others!
Mighty Mussels --- it was smelly, can not eat, 臭的, when we talked to the manager, he said like l cancel it for you and l will find out whats happening...then go away and never come back, hah....we all cant imagine wagyu can give this kind of food and service to customer...
Duck Foei Gras --- &16X, with this price, l can have a better taste at another restaurants....
Crab Tuna tartare --- l think it was the best one l taste on that night even my friend didnt agree with me, hah....
Mushroom Bruschetta --- just ok, nothing special
Wagyu Beef Pie --- beef smell and tasted like a can foods....

Seafood Linguni --- just ok, l cant say it was good, but its was not bad too...
US Prime Black Angus Sirloin 12 OZ --- not bad, strong beef taste, we all like this....
USPrime Black Angus Rib eye 12 OZ --- not tender enough, but still good.....

after we tasted the starter, so we all not dare to order too many main, haha.....anyway, will not come again, the name just famous, but the food and service are...suck......come for drink should be fine, for dinner, never..or you can try....=p
