Can’t express how excited I am to visit Vivant, “Modern European Bistronomy” by Twins Kitchen. Kitchen is run by amazing chef Jeston Chua. This intimate space can accommodate 16-20 guests. There’s also a good spot that you can just stand next to the entrance to have a few bite and enjoy a glass of wine. Menu is not complex at all. Good to order few and share with your loved one. They have few selections of sparkling, white and red. And quite a lot of choice for beer/ cider as well.

I definitely adore this bite. Love the smoky flavour of the rillette on a crispy potato mille feuille. Very good combination.

Hokkaido Scallop with roasted cabbage, hazelnuts and beurre Noisette
The cabbage is actually the highlight of the dish. They roasted it with butter and got a bit of nutty flavour. Go well with the raw fresh scallop.

Clams in broth with Makrut and Chorizo
Clams are big and fresh. Chorizo gives a spicy kick and definitely elevate the dish. Wish I could have some bread to soak all those jus.

The ribs is perfectly cooked. We can cut it easily. So tender and so much flavour.

Local roasted turbot, sauce colbert
My favourite dish of the night. Turbot is never my type of fish. It’s cooked perfectly. Fish is firm yet tender. Simply amazing! Fresh seafood is always the best!

Cornbread is my favourite. It smells so good! They use the dehydrated corn hobs and the flavour is so rich!
So happy to see they use local fresh ingredients. You can taste the freshness of the food and the efforts they have put the menu together. A simply good meal! Can’t wait to see what new dishes they will pull off in the future!
