The Dublin Jack (已結業)

went to this place for lunch with a fd again.Ordered the chicken breast with mashed potato this time.The mashed potato and potato wedges were definitely tasty, maybe coz i love potatoes!!the chicken breast was a bit hard though.I love the appetizer also! this time I chose the salad instead of the soup. Its nice! the salad has some scallop inside and the sauce was tasty!overall, this restaurant was good in terms of the environment, service and food quality. And its not $$!!

前幾日同友人到些吃lunch，呢間野唔係好多人，我地入到去都好多吉，我地一坐低就係度食麵包，唔記得叫野食..set lunch有約三款，我叫左個個係salmon filliet with mashed potato, 三文魚的味道不錯啊..唔係煮得太熟..仲有薯蓉也不錯..仲有個湯唔知係乜湯..好清的但有一些海鮮價錢都ok呀..100元原來中環都唔係冇野食呢

難得大忙人主動提議Happy Hour, 當然卻之不恭. 一輪召集之後有五位閒人出席, 地點則選了蘭桂坊的Irish Pub - The Dublin Jack.一進門的印象是頗典型的英倫酒吧格局, 但也有一些Semi-private 間隔的大檯. 在"老蘭" Happy Hour 期望買一送一是有點不設實際, 而這裡當然亦不例外, 只看其歡樂時光的價錢其實並不太令人歡樂的. 不過, 朋友相聚把酒言笑一番才算真正的歡樂時光, 價錢再便宜也只是錦上添花. 自己對啤酒始終興趣不太大, 而且見到有一個特價Tapas Set, $98 包一杯紅或白酒及一款Tapas, 兩者皆可自選. 除非本身不愛葡萄酒, 否則應該總有一種組合對口味的. 於是我就要了一杯澳洲白酒Rosemount Estate Chardonnay, Tapas則選了蒜汁八爪魚鬚.Rosemount是一間大廠, 其出品水準很穩定, 這杯夏當尼白酒當然亦不會差得到那裡去, 但始終是平價Label, 果香雖不缺, 但不能要求有甚麼層次餘韻...當作一杯消閒飲品還可以, 享受就絕對稱不上. 反正Happy Hour嘛, 杯中物只是配

Went to lunch with my friends today at Dublin Jack, just happened to find this restaurant in Open Rice. It’s nice that they can make booking in advance.The restaurant looks good, also not noisy. Price for set lunch is from $98 to $118, choices are: Rib eye steak, Sole in creamy source, Summer Salad with spicy tuna, BBQ chicken. We order all except the rib eye steak. We wanted to go to the Japanese restaurant opposite and when we saw this restaurant, we changed our mind and walked in just to try it out. It was a good thing that we did. The set lunch was good value at HK$98 (with 2 courses and coffee) and there was no service charge. Food was delicious. I like the roast beef. Overall pleasant experience. I only wished the waitresses could speak a little slower.

Went for lunch at Dublin Jack on Friday 3 Nov 06. Quiet with very comfortable seats. Set lunch (2 courses) $98. Picked Seafood puff and Roast Beef. Puff was crispy and roast was all right, mashed potatoe was really yummy (not the powdered starch but actual real potatoes - nice.) Very cute match boxes at the bar.
